A full body tan is £25, or two people for £40, so I talked my friend into braving the spray with me. Tina set up a big tent in my living room, which has a light ivory-ish carpet, and not a single drop of stain escaped. My friend opted for a lighter shade and I went as dark as I could without looking foolish. Over the day the colour deepened and I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. My friend and I exchanged excited texts. The following evening, my male friends couldn't stop saying that something about me seemed different. Had I lost weight? Was I sure I hadn't? We began with the Sole Delight treatment, and what a delight. I have to admit that I tend to neglect my tootsies at this time of year, really only paying attention to them in the summer, but after a word or two from Adele about maintaining the expert work that she had done, I will now extend my before bed routine of applying cuticle oil to my finger nails to my somewhat neglected toes too. The body treatment is deserving of praise too. My body was buffed and vigorously scrubbed with the delicious smelling salt product all over, leaving my skin positively glowing and incredibly soft and silky to the touch. The facilities are clean and the ambiance in the room; soothing music, and very soft lighting during the body scrub treatment made for complete relaxation. They have a very wide range of services, but as I haven't tried all of them I can only say ... so far I haven't been disappointed. She'll make amazing recommendations for people who know incredibly little about beauty (i.e. men) so that when they feed back/tell their other half that they're going to a salon it actually sounds like you've thought things out properly. Very clean, slightly off the beaten path but consistently busy all the same - in times like now that is incredibly rare, especially in what isn't really an essential every day spend so more than hints at the quality of service. I've had a couple of massages here myself, and would like to think I'm a bit of an expert, but always leave well and truly relaxed. I've sent my partner and my mum (when she comes down from Manchester) here consistently every month or so, and whilst the list of treatments gets bigger and bigger, the cost doesn't significantly rise along with it, and ultimately, no matter that my partner lives in the West End and I live on the mean streets of Wapping, she still always makes the journey North because she absolutely loves going here (and Soti). Really great service, really, really reasonable prices and for those of us (men, basically) with a bit (extensive) of a knowledge gap when it comes to things beauty for women, a really informative - and not salesy - experience as well.
