It was almost 7:45 before we received our salad. When we questioned what happened to our appetizer we were given an apology that the appetizer we ordered had "run out". We were given the option of ordering a different appetizer, which we did. 30 minutes passed , we had finished our salad when we inquired if we were going to be served our food and our appetizer. We were assured it was being prepared, by this time we were really hungry so we asked for bread. The response at first was that bread is not usually available but they will check. Upon the waitress returning we were told bread was being prepared, then we found out that they had run out of one of the side dishes (asparagus). By this time it's 8:45 pm. Remember, we arrived at 7:00 pm and the only thing we had been served was salad and drinks. We gave up at that point and paid for our drinks. I was almost in tears because this was not the 45th anniversary celebration I had looked forward to (understatement). Our waitress was in tears as well and we did acknowledge that we did not blame her. Before walking out , we were offered our food to go because it was finally ready.
