The bartender, very friendly guy, took my order. Forgot his name but he is a good looking guy, which sort of fits the upscale scene. Every table gets complimentary salsa tray which I presume has avocado salsa, verde, mocajete, and limes. The salsas were DELICIOUS. I do wish they gave some complimentary chips along with it. Everything I ordered: Carne asada burrito, substitute beans with rice - 9/10. Was very delicious especially when accompanied with the salsas. For the drinks: Oaxaca Old Fashioned - 10/10. I love old fashioneds and they nailed it here. Instead of whiskey, they use mezcal which was delicious. Agave Spritz - 10/10. Mezcal with prosecco. Fantastic. No words. The only thing I would recommend to the restaurant is including prices of the cocktails on the menu. After finishing eating I had no idea what the damage would be but it turned out to be very reasonable, $13 per cocktail. I wish I gave this place a shot earlier during my work trip, but anyhow if I am ever back in town, this is in my highly recommended list of restaurants. They also had one projector screen showing the World Cup game. They also have Happy Hour 3-6 PM. Parking is plentiful, shared with the rest of the plaza. Would I come back? You bet.

The staff is super friendly, the bartender was attentive and wasn't stingy when it came to making drinks. We even ordered a pizza from the bar, which ended up being surprisingly excellent. The bottom line is, if you haven't been to this club yet, you should make it a point to do so. There is so little in the way of "nightlife" in El Centro, and this place really is like a hidden gem.

It was almost 7:45 before we received our salad. When we questioned what happened to our appetizer we were given an apology that the appetizer we ordered had "run out". We were given the option of ordering a different appetizer, which we did. 30 minutes passed , we had finished our salad when we inquired if we were going to be served our food and our appetizer. We were assured it was being prepared, by this time we were really hungry so we asked for bread. The response at first was that bread is not usually available but they will check. Upon the waitress returning we were told bread was being prepared, then we found out that they had run out of one of the side dishes (asparagus). By this time it's 8:45 pm. Remember, we arrived at 7:00 pm and the only thing we had been served was salad and drinks. We gave up at that point and paid for our drinks. I was almost in tears because this was not the 45th anniversary celebration I had looked forward to (understatement). Our waitress was in tears as well and we did acknowledge that we did not blame her. Before walking out , we were offered our food to go because it was finally ready. They offer a large variety of beers and drink specials every night. We both ordered different burgers and they have a lot to chose from. I was very disappointed with the food quality. The burgers didn't have any seasoning and the bread was too soaked with grease to enjoy it. I would return if I had a chance to sit at the bar and watch the game but wouldn't be back for their food. The service was great and lots of TVs!
