Since my car is not operable I am provided with free transportation to and from appointments...and though, not as important, but never the less, a great perk is the free coffee and fruit/snacks in the waiting room! I went to have blood drawn 2 days ago and she screwed up putting the needle in my vein so bad I am still in pain and arm is still swollen and badly bruised. This is the second time out of 4 blood draws over the past two years that this happened when she drew blood. Once putting the needle in and one pulling the needle out. Never had this happen to me before anywhere else. And my veins are large and very easy to place a needle in. Sorry to say but this employee should not be working in this job. VERY RUDE STAFF MEMBER! This review is about the competency of the Dr's staff NOT the doctor. The…read moreinitial receptionist I spoke with was decent, but was confused about my insurance. I have Federal insurance in a CIGNA network. This doctor definitely takes CIGNA according to them, I even called my insurance company to make sure they were in network. I called them back and the lady that I guess checked the insurance immediately told me no they dont take my insurance before i could even talk. "Your card has to say CIGNA on the front," mind you it does at the bottom. Then she proceeded to try to rush me off of the phone, like she didn't want to hear anything else i had to say. I proceeded to talk anyway. I told her my insurance is in the Cigna network, I just called 3 mins ago and they literally told me you're in network. And repeated if you guys take Cigna you take my insurance, because its in the Cigna network. She didn't care. And, instead of checking again like any decent person with half a brain not wanting to lose a customer, she instead just says "We dont take your insurance, you have to call a different doctor." I told her that doesn't make any sense and i think your wrong but okay. Bye! Very rude from the beginning for no reason.
