The office staff was friendly with the exception of Luz in referrals and Jackie Morales the office manager. Luz was so rude to me that I almost cried. I was so taken aback by her attitude. Plus I never got my referrals for two separate doctors. One I finally got after Cynthia intervened. I was in dire need to speak with Jackie about a time-sensitive issue. The person taking the message said she marked it urgent and left it on Jackie's desk. I waited 4 business days for a call back and by that time my issue could not be resolved favorably. Humana, Conviva and my eye surgeon's office also tried to reach her and she would not take their calls or return any calls. I can not go back to that office and have to deal with rude, unprofessional staff. I am nonconfrontational and would be very uncomfortable around those two.

There is a system and it flows to a T. The door to the facility promptly open at 6am. I filled out my paperwork, paid the co-pay and was told to wait for a nurse to get me. Bring a small blanket because it is very cold. First round I wore my shoes and second round I went in my stocking feet. Reason for not wearing shoes was because when they lay you back, it felt uncomfortable with my shoes. Others said it feels like an assembly line. For me it felt like a car wash. Everyone was wonderful. Even though I had a blanket, they put a warm blanket on top of me. Both times there were 2 other patients waiting to go next. I was given multiple eye drops. The first time it felt like I was being water boarded and the second time the nurse slowly counted each drop. I had a terrific anesthesiologist who made darn sure that he supplied me with a great cocktail and nausea medication. When the procedure was over, I skipped the drinks and snacks and couldn't wait to get home to check out my new eyesight. Hope I can put anyone to rest if they are apprehensive about the surgery. The only agony is waiting for the other people to get done. Once those doors open, you are wheeled into the operating room and things move fast. This is when you should take some time to watch the show. To be able to see different unexplainable images without any pain was remarkable. Hearing the doctor say, "Perfect!" Put the shine on this old girl's eyes.

He directly stated that he "would die" if he had a procedure, without providing clear explanations or showing empathy. Furthermore, he didn't allow discussion of high blood pressure, ignoring a serious concern. To make matters worse, the patient needed a prescription for his blood pressure, and they refused to give it with the excuse that "his doctor had never prescribed it," even though it's clearly recorded in the system. Very strange and totally irresponsible. As I told the secretary on the phone, I hold them responsible for anything that happens to my father starting yesterday. 8/21/2025 11:15 am I'm giving it because you can't give zero stars; if you could, I wouldn't give him one.

I was able to get the prescriptions that were necessary. I've been prescribed the same medication before so I knew what I needed but Dr. Roy Dubash recommended me the same prescriptions without me asking him for the same prescriptions. I was in and out in less than an hour. Incredible experience I will definitely be coming back if I need any medical care.

He always makes sure I fully understand my condition and treatment plan, and my prescriptions are taken care of before I leave. I have never had any complaints with this facility because they've always taken care of me and my family member. Let me be clear, We are not related to Dr Chin or any staff in this Office but we get treated as if we're family. Even to the day I have started coming back with Dr Chin this year because I left due to Insurance reasons since nothing has changed. But this place is got a good potentials, initially. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. We did not get to see the doctor in the initial visit. Instead we saw the PA who basically just took down our medical history for future references I guess. We were supposed to get our blood lab work done in the same visit. But somehow due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were denied at first. After pleading with the staff we were then allowed to get the blood work done. It's weird to me because we always get our blood work done. In the same annual physical visits. We never had to "request" for this service. Oh well, not all the offices were as nice as our previous doctor. Probably will still go back for our next annual check ups. But the next time I'll make sure I request to get the blood work done in the same visit!

These were forms to be completed by hand (not digital, old school) and then had to be entered manually by the receptionist. I was a new patient and it would have been nice to have completed these forms online, prior to my visit. My appointment was set for 10:00. I did not get in the back for my triage until 10:30 and did not see the Doctor until after 11:00. They do not use a digital scales or blood pressure machines. Medical devices could use some updating. They required me to have an EKG, even though I expressed that I did not want one. They told me they would not bill my insurance and that it was for internal use only and was required by the Doctor. The examining room had rules on the wall and advertising for allergy testing, with two notices to turn your phone off as well as a referral policy. No artwork. The lobby was also decorated with policies on all the walls. Although, they did have lots of brochures for services and magazines on the waiting area. Now for my visit with Dr. Alvarez... the Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Alvarez gave me a thorough exam and gave me some good medical advice. He spent a fair amount of time with me, I did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone seeking a solid primary care physician.

When someone is unaware and needs to be educated you do not hang up on them, you correct them. It is common knowledge to say goodbye before ending a call. Just normal manners. Which they have NONE!!! I understand some people have bad days but you don't get a pass to be bad at your job.
