Explains his plan of care and includes the patient as a partner in their own care. When you are a chronic lung patient you must have a reliable pulmonologist for those times when a crisis comes up. This is that doctor. He is not rushed as some doctors can be, with one hand holding your chart and the other on the door knob. He takes time to answer all of your questions and concerns. Talks to you like you have a brain. Highly recommend! I just hope he doesn't leave Tucson. We need more good doctors here.

I was very impressed with this young woman, as she was both kind and professional. She listened very well and answered the myriad of questions I had about my diagnosis. She took her time, and I never felt rushed, nor was there any evidence that she was impatient with me, despite all my questions and concerns. She printed out my Chest CT results, as well as all of the blood tests she wanted to rule-out any auto-immune diseases, which she also thoroughly explained. Within a few days after having those blood tests run...NP Rodriquez called me to personally give me the results, and to offer suggestions for treatment, regarding the one test which was slightly elevated. Her explanations and reassurances helped to make me feel calm and confident. I explained that I wanted to confer with both my PCP and my Cardiologist, and she was very amenable to such. She reminded me of my lung function test and my follow-up with an MD Pulmonologist. As I left... I told her that I always research the Reviews of any medical professional to whom I am referred...and that ALL of hers were excellent, and after my time with her I completely understood why. The front desk takes calls in between patients, so they are doing double duty. I was treated with kindness, respect, and patience. I subsequently went to an outstanding pulmonologist who suspected that I had a life-threatening and very rare condition. He immediately ordered a battery of tests which confirmed his diagnosis and sent me on to an ENT for surgery. I consider Rotkis the very worst doctor I've gone to in my life.

Our Internist referred us to Dr. Puri; he examined my husband and ordered tests. The result, it turned out, is treatable and curable. Throughout Dr. Puri was more than competent and personable. He was able to explain what was going on in terms that were comprehensible to the lay person. We would recommend Dr. Puri to anyone who needs to see a specialist in this field. And, in addition, the office is beautifully and tastefully decorated with painting by his daughters. Such a relief from all the bland, same-same doctors' offices that one is subjected to these days.
