I believe the weight loss medication they claim is mounjaro/ tirzepatide is faults. The medication is given in 4 small pre drawn syringes. The medication color is pink they claim it has b-12 in it, and that's why the color is not clear. I was charged $399 for a 0.25mg dose, and as it goes up in the dose, so does the price. After taking the fist dose, I didn't feel anything still had craving, still eating without feeling full. I have taken the true mounjaro in the past, and it works right away. You're not craving food at all. when you do eat, you feel full after a few bites. So this makes me suspect that they ripped me off. read more

This doctor's office is great. I took my grandmother here when she moved to Arizona when she fell. The nurse practitioner gave her excellent care. When she started to get more they managed her care up until the point when they assisted me setting up hospice care for her. They kept up with her all the way until she passed away. When she did pass the entire office sent me a sympathy card. It was very touching. I like that it's a small office and not a huge chain and you get the one-on-one care. read more

I wouldnt give this doctor a half star. Went to him 4 (four) times with a serious Gastro intestinal problem. He showed NO CONCERN nor did his staff. He even acted as though it was "amusing". Ended up having to change doctors to get my condition checked, verified and treated. And it ended up being something serious had I not had treated would have led to hospitalization. He never follows up or remembers any previous complaints or conditions. Their blood draw is at the crack of dawn behind a line of people all in a hurry to be the first inside once the blood girl finally opens the door at 5am. Ridiculous! And then, he started charging a "CONVENIENCE FEE" . What a joke. $$$$ He aldo prescribed diabetes medicine to me WITHOUT EVER CHECKING MY BLOOD.! His staff are ever changing faces with one that seems to pretend she is a doctor when she is just a NA with a very arrogant judging attitude. All they seem to want to do here is charge your insurance for as many unnecessary things possible. Ie: allergy tests, steroid injections, sell you probiotics and other items from their office. But when it comes to really checking you out thoroughly, forget it. They are totally opposite from the slogan they blare in your ear when you are on hold. Try to call for help? Forget it, you're going to have to do an office visit and drop a co-pay here. Nothing is made easy. Money money money. So glad I left and found a decent MD. read more

How I wish I could give it zero stars. This place is SHADY! Called about six weeks ago for a weight loss appointment. During the call, they asked if I was interested in switching to them as my primary care physician (PCP), and I said perhaps since it was nearby my residence. But, specifically I made the appointment for weight loss. I even spoke with the woman on the phone about a plateau I'd reached on my diet and needing help through it. I had walked in about a month before to get information and wasn't impressed with the receptionist, who just stared blankly at me instead of greeting me. But people have bad days, it's close by and I thought I'd give it another try. First, to see the physicians assistant was six weeks out. If I wanted to see the actual doctor, it was 10 weeks out. When I arrived for my appointment today and did the new patient paperwork, they called me up and asked if I was interested in weight loss because that's what I listed as the reason for the visit. I said yes, obviously, since that's why I'd made the appointment. No, they said, this is an appointment to "establish care" as my PCP, and they only see weight loss patients Tuesday and Thursday (today is Monday) and for part of the day Wednesday. But, they could do me a favor and schedule me for another appointment this Wednesday and that would be extra. Unfortunately, that didn't work with my schedule. I asked what the next appointment was after that and it was November 29th..... Soooo....obviously not happy with the bait and switch. And clearly their lack of available appointments would certainly be an issue had I stayed. Luckily, they refunded my co-pay. read more

Let first say the staff and Dr Azam are nice people. I first tried this place for weight loss, never met Dr. Azam, only one of his assistants after several months, no success. I recently went back to try botox on my "11" and filler in my upper lip since I stopped smoking 3 years ago and thought it would be worth it now, I wanted to support our community. Well FORGET THAT!. my "11" s still there and I have a lopsided lip. He put most on one side and that wasn't even the worse side. I look like I have a fat lip. I went back and he told me to give it a couple of weeks. I have had this once before and never had this issue. Plus I was promised he was excellent on giving injections with little pain and bruising. HELL NO. I have never hurt this bad. I was swollen inside and out of my mouth and black and blue more than anything I have ever had in my life. I am sorry but Dr. Azam is NOT the place to go for weight loss and especially fillers and botox. He is trying to cash in on these areas. Now I have to go a specialist on the NW side of Tucson and get fix. read more

Dr. Azam is wonderful! I had been seeing another doctor, and constantly had trouble getting appointments. Dr. Azam's office is always able to see you in a timely manner. Additionally, he is the only doctor that ordered the correct tests to find out what was actually going on with my health...I wish I had known about him over a year ago when all my symptoms started! After I turned 65, I had to find another doctor, all had long waits for appointments. Our Rita Ranch newsletter announced the opening of the Vail Internal Medicine Clinic. I got a same-day appointment and was there to stay. Dr. Azam takes a genuine personal interest in each patient. I am obese, so I have bloodwork done every 3 months, and he takes the time to review two pages of the results so I know what is happening with my body. Several times I had problems requiring specialists. Dr. Azam made referrals and the staff even helped me get appointments. My husband is also a patient. The practice developed into a Weight Loss center. Yes, they make more money, but more importantly, they want to help their patients get healthy. I wanted to try the Keto plan because my blood work shows my body functions to be out of whack, but everything on the internet was so confusing. Dr. Azam did an after-hours seminar to explain what being obese does to your organs and body functions. Samreem, the nutritional counselor, explained the Keto diet, and they have supporting supplements. I feel more confident being under a doctor's care for this diet. I am losing weight and love the food I am able to eat. Last week I had an appointment to review blood work. All the bad numbers have come down, Dr. Azam was so excited one would have thought it was his blood work. Samreem is available to answer my questions and give advice. This time I am going all the way with the help of the staff who are cheerleaders for patient success. I also like Julie, the nurse practitioner who is very thorough. LOVE THIS PLACE. I have been trying to find a new PCP since I pretty much got kicked out of my pediatrician's office at 25. I have seen a few but just haven't felt 100% thats who I wanted in charge of my care for the rest of my life. I had just gone to an annual appointment and was advised to follow up with a PCP regarding my results...this sent me into a panic, as I had been going to Carondolet in RIta Ranch. I called, after being on hold for 20 min trying to actually speak to a real person (something I have experienced every single time I called) and was told I could not be seen in almost one month. I turned to Facebook for suggestions, called around to a few new places and experienced numerous rude people who had answered the phone and told me they weren't accepting new patients. Of course, all of this happens on Friday so I entered the weekend in a panic. I got many recommendations for Dr Azam and NP David at Vail Internal Medicine. First thing Monday morning, I called, found out there were in fact accepting new patients but could not get me in until July 6. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly nice, caring and compassionate. She took the time and asked why I needed to see a doctor and tried everything she could to look through the schedule to squeeze me in. I still made the appt but asked if she could call if there were any cancellations, she agreed. Less than one hour later, she called and said she could get me in the next day at 11am!!!! I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW RELIEVED I WAS!!! I brought the staff cookies the next day, bc they have no idea how worried and stressed i had been over this. I saw NP David, who was AWESOME! He sat down, was very genuine and explained exactly what I needed to fix my issue and took care of it like that! David took the time to get to know us and explain the situation in a way we would understand. I felt like I left there with new friends. David did not beat around the bush and was honest. I felt 100% comfortable there! Even my hubby, who HATES going to the doctor said he was going to call and schedule an appt for his yearly physical. I highly recommend this place.
