    40th Birthday Celebration 2025
    Ryan M.

ChicaLocca Tours is the perfect way to spend the day with friends. I used ChicaLocca Limousine of the Sea for a pre-wedding event and recommended ChicaLocca to a friend planning his 40th birthday. Everything was perfect! The staff is amazing and everyone had a great time! If you are searching to charter a boat for the day, look no further!

Welcomed with a small breakfast consisting of pineapple, cantaloupe and orange slices, 3 large grapes and a mini muffin and cinnamon roll. Water, sodas, mimosas, margaritas, Coronas with additional options available to drink. Bring sun screen, towel, and a change of clothes for ride home. Lunch was rice, beets chicken and sautéed veggies with two tostadas. The staff was courteous and helpful with a good sense of humor. It was a wonderful day on the water snorkeling, swimming, diving and relaxing on the rafts.

We toured with Chica Loca on March 28, 2024 and hands down was the best boat tour my boyfriend or I had been on. We did the Yelapa Falls All Inclusive Full Day Tour. We boarded the boat at around 8:30 and right away were asked if we wanted anything to drink and were giving breakfast (some fruit, a mini muffin, mini cinnamon roll). The boat was so spacious and clean, we have been on boats before where you're packed in like sardines but there was so much space to move around and sit. Plus the chairs they had for guests were very comfortable patio style chairs. Ricky was our host and he was so kind and fun. The rest of the crew was amazing too. I believe they said there was around 15 staff members catering to us so there really were people always asking if you wanted another drink or needed anything. They had two masseuses on board, you just added your name to a list and they would call your name when it was your turn (completely free but nice to leave tip for ladies). We got to a private Bay Area (literally not a single other boat) and were offered paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks, Lilly pads, jumping off top of boat. Our only critique was we only got water time for about 45mins-1 hour another 30 minutes would've been perfect. We then departed for Yelapa. The town is very small and you had two options, 1st: go to waterfall and explore town/ shops. Or option 2: go to the beach in Yelapa (can't do both) you then got an hour in the town to explore. There were a couple of shops with people selling jewelry, souvenirs etc. and a couple of places to buy a drink. After Yelapa they feed you fajitas which were pretty decent. We appreciated that all the food was portioned out and given to each person on a paper plate, so no worrying about buffet. They played fun music for us and gave chips and guac towards the end of the excursion. Boyfriend and I definitely took advantage of the open bar and they were always so fast with the drinks 10/10. Overall, a wonderful experience and all of the staff were so so lovely (all spoke English as well if that's a concern) we would recommend this tour to anyone!

My husband and I went on the Chicca Loca tour a couple weeks ago for my birthday and we had the most amazing time! The tour guides, the whole staff was absolutely great, fun, entertaining, yet professional at the same time. If you're looking for good vibes, this tour is definitely worth it. I do not know how to swim, but Ricky and the whole team helped me get in the water with life vests, and they all make you feel so safe and comfortable the whole time. Best, time, ever! Also, the photographers were AWESOME! Captured every moment! Big shoutout to them!

My girlfriend, her grandmother and I all had a wonderful time! Delicious fresh fruit, chips & guacamole, and ceviche. Excellent whale watching! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Plenty of time to swim too!

I cannot express how magical our wedding was, and it was due to the Chica Locca experience! We rented the Chica Limousine for our 90 guests and stopped off at the Chica Locca beach for our ceremony, dinner and party. From the start and planning side, Gil and his staff gave us the personal attention as if we were the most important people. Gil himself answered the phone every single time we called, which was a lot. He spent his time talking with us, and answered all of our questions. It was a destination wedding, and Gil put us at ease with his amazing staff and all of their experience. The day of the wedding, Gil and his staff took care of every single detail, and made us as well as each of our guests feel very special. The catamaran ride over (and back) was a total blast with fun music, dancing, and drinks galore. The moment we got off the boat and onto the hidden beach, the setting was spectacular and everything we could have dreamed. It exceeded our expectations! They were organized, did everything we had asked, as well as gave great recommendations. Our guest continue to complement how well everything went and what a great job they did and are all still on a high from how much fun they all had. Their cups never went empty, and the food was outstanding. The only thing our guests commented was that they wished they would take Venmo because they wanted to tip them more because they worked so hard and were so great. A big thank you to Chica Locca for making our day the most beautiful spectacular day we could've ever asked for.

We had an amazing time on their boat. The crew was awesome; so friendly and welcoming. Drinks kept flowing, food was good, fun snacks and homemade guacamole. Would definitely tour with them again.

I LOVED my mega yacht tour with Chicca Locca tours! Our entire staff was so incredibly kind, attentive, and fun! There were complimentary massages on the boat. We had ample time to have free swim, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We visited Yelapa where I tried raicilla for the first time- it was excellent! The boat crew were kind, fun, and treated you as friends! I would definitely recommend spending a day on the water with them!

This review is loooong overdue. This is a great experience if you're in the mood for some vitamin sea. Instead of chartering our own private boat, our group of 12-ish opted to share the boat with others. We knew it'd be fun to mix things up, meet people from around the globe, and have a good time (which we did). We started off by meeting in the plaza at Sayulita, taking a shuttle to the marina, and then an excursion to Las Marietas Islands (aka "hidden beach"). I heard conservationists have since then closed down. But regardless, Chica Locca is a legit company. The boat was great, the staff was incredibly accommodating and catering to all the food/drink needs, and we had a great time sunning, dancing, kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing and water sliding... all the things! Highly recommend their services. Note: Las Marietas has grown in popularity over the years, and the national park program attempted some form of crowd control by allowing ~600 amount of people onto the island. Still, thousands of tourists would still visit the island daily. So thankful they are preserving this national park by closing it to the masses. Swimming onto that island was a dangerous cluster (by no fault of Chica Locca).

Did this day trip on 'Limousine of the Sea' today to snorkel in a secret cove and see a waterfall in Yelapa and they were amazing. Super friendly and always walking around to ensure guests had everything they needed. Took a ton of care for the trip. Couldn't ask for anything different. Thank you!!!

A group of 12 of us adults hired Chica Locca tours for a private boat for 7 hours. We had no idea what to expect but we were blown away. The boat was amazing and comfortable and clean with 2 water slides, a platform deck to jump off and all the fun water toys to include fishing. I caught a fish and the crew quickly turned it into the most delicious ceviche I have ever had. And that was in addition to the endless drinks, snacks and delicious lunch. The crew made this day amazing. They were so fun and friendly and attentive. Anya was on top of everything we needed. We felt safe the whole time and they catered to our every need. And having our own photographer was the perfect cherry on top. We saw whales and dolphins and many birds. We had a great time hanging out in the beautiful bay. I can't say enough about this tour and the boat and crew. It was one of the best days I've ever had!

(One tip: if you're staying in Sayulita... listen when Roberta recommend getting cash ahead on the way to Sayulita! ATMs in town are often out of cash.) And while I can't remember his name, the guy who got us set up for our trip was also super helpful as was Oscar our driver. The trip itself was awesome! Palma & Edgar were a top-notch team. Palma, our guide, had so much knowledge and a real joy in sharing it. He also really knows how to connect with people, their individual needs, and help make the experience special. And because of this we saw so many different kinds of fish, birds, crabs, whales... and learned about the National Park, the area, etc. I'll have his joy-filled "Look, look... Mira, mira..." in my head for awhile as I explore the world, and that's a good thing. He guided us through Hidden Beach and it's caves and took pictures for us so we could just enjoy. On the ride back Edgar, our awesome captain, and Palma were set on finding whales, and we did! And Palma went around and filmed with everyone's cameras so that we could be in the moment and enjoy all the while keeping his energy and attention on the group experience. We saw the bigger boats out there, with water slides and such, and we were so glad to have this more intimate tour. And we met some great people on our small tour, so having beers and tacos afterward together (set up by the tour) was a great touch.

It may be a little pricer than other areas, but you are paying for the experience with the animals too. There is no cell reception at this location, and there are signs to swim at your own risk in the water below the restaurant. I really wish I could have done a canopy tour that included the zip lining as it looked awesome from afar! We originally were supposed to travel w/10 families, but 6 cancelled due to the cartel leader being unalived over a month ago. We almost cancelled our trip due to the travel advisory and friends and family advising us not to go for safety reasonings. We had no issues on our trip and even travelled into town to do some glass shopping. Anyhow, I chose this company based off the good reviews and we wanted a trust worthy transportation company during this uncertainty. First off, I'm so glad I saved the pic of the directions on how to find them after baggage claim. Since it was our time in PV I didn't know what to expect at the airport. I can tell you that the shark tank with of scammers that don't work Vallarta will "pretend" they work for the company and will ask you for your name and try to mislead you that they are Vallarta transfers in the airport area where you see all the signs. I remember to meet with the people in the airport but my hubby and I almost fell for it cause they literally let us know that they were looking for us and worked for Vallarta transfers. Has actually called they said before you exit the airport. I can't believe we does. It seem so truthful. Read this! Do not talk to anyone in the airport for this company. They will say they work for the company and they don't and they will sign you up with a separate ticket. Those are scammers and should get arrested for this.!! I yelled at them to leave us alone! They are great liars and con-artists!! Ignore and BEWARE !! Exit airport and walk to left and cross the cross walk where you see the yellow stripes on side walk... you will than see a tall blue flag with "Vallarta Transfers" and a sign with your name. It was very nice to hear that we were at the right spot. That day was so crowded because it was a holiday weekend. And our driver had to wait an extra hour for us. Anyhow, it was very nice and relieved to see the right company and it was nice to be drinking a coronarita on the way to the resort. All the staff was very friendly and talkative. One person name that stood out was "Christopher". I remembered his name because my brother's name and he was very helpful giving us suggestions and telling us about the town. anyhow, the airport is 15 minutes from "Dreams" if anyone wants to know. We ended up doing the one-way pay instead of the round-trip pay. I guess we could've saved 30 bucks if we would've booked Uber XL on the way to the airport. We are promised that we would get beer on the way to the airport when we returned, please see the photo of the receipt. Then they emailed me and said sorry, we only do beer when we welcome you at the airport, but not when we drive you back on your departure. So that is why I give the four star review because in the email invoice they indicated they would give us beers both ways but it wasn't true.. It was $60-65 one way w/o tip. What I should've done was book Uber XL from resort to airport as it was giving me quotes for $17-23 one way without tip. We just had a ton of luggage that is why we booked it both ways. Ended up taking a Uber to town mid trip. It cost us $7 each way. We didn't have a bad experience. I Hope this review Will help you out on your next adventure. Yes we would use it again for one way only if we had less luggage. If You're traveling with no kids and less luggage and I would say go for the UberXL you will save money.
