As an average guy, I don't need or purchase many welding services, which makes their treatment of me all the more important. Even if you have a smaller job, (I needed to repair my mower deck for the riding mower after hitting a stump), this is the place to go. A new deck would cost me over $1,000, but they welded the two supports for $150. I believe they can even come to your location, but I took the mower deck to them. One note - you MUST enter off Spaulding Road, even though Waze and other apps might take you in a different way. Highly Recommend Jerry's Welding!

Our stairs have a unique curve so the guys did the rough fabrication on site to make sure the curve matched perfectly. Unlike other (cheaper) vendors, G & M uses high quality materials and offers powder coating for a longer lasting finish (won't rust)! They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish, met the timeline they quoted and installed a great product. We are thrilled with the results and definitely recommend them. Gabriel got back to us the same day with a quote after we sent him photos of the steps. He was very responsive and made three trips out to deal with the project. The first was to take detailed measurements of our stairs. The second was a fit up of the uncoated railing where he took final dimensions and cored the mounting holes and the third was to actually install the rails after powder coating. We are very happy both with the product and Gabriel's responsiveness and professionalism. We would use him again although the raisl will probably last for decades.

Later I found out they have been servicing for few years but only joined Yelp recently; hence, the lack of review. David was able to provide a quote over the phone with some basic description and photos. He knew exactly what I wanted for the project. They came the next day, on time, and communications were also prompt and precise. They were professional, courteous, highly efficient, and paid attention to details. I have very high standards in everything I do, so I can vouch for the team who are also perfectionists. They listen to customer's needs, and will ask if the customer is satisfied with the project approach as they move along. My gangway was not completed leveled, and the width also changed along the way. As David and Issac installing the railing for me, they made sure each piece is leveled and aligned on a straight line. They also welded few pieces to secure them; during the welding, they checked at every step to make sure top and bottom bars were also aligned. The outcome was just outstanding! FYI, my gangway is about 52 ft in length. The railing is heavy galvanized steel. They even cleaned the gangway after the work is finished. They will suggest solutions to customers but will never charge anything unnecessary. The price David quoted me was very reasonable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs fence work done.

Tim the designed called me back the next day and scheduled an appointment to come and assess the housse. Our radon level had been testing between 6 and 8. Tom did a thorough assessment inside and out and created a proposal including a sketch of the installation, including the EXACT cost, which was just under $2000 - very reasonable. I was impressed that they use a large diameter downspout (matching our existing downspout color) extending to the roof line instead of PVC pipe. They also install a housing over the outside fan unit which looks great. They also seal the sump pump with a new lid and seal all the cracks around the perimiter of the basement. The technician Jorge came out two weeks later and performed the entire install. He was amazing! He explained everything, and left it all very clean. Very professional and courteous. I retested the radon level a couple of days later and it tested at .27!!!!!I HIGHLY recommend Dupage Radon Contractors. You will not be disappointed.

I called DuPage Radon and the very nice woman who answered the phone made it sound like they might cover it, but when she talked to her boss, he said no. Their quote to replace the unit was $400 (they were originally paid approximately $1,200 five years ago) and the soonest they could do it was New Year's Eve. I was able to find the exact same model radon fan at Home Depot for $150 and it literally took me no more than 15 minutes to remove the old unit (and I've never done this before). I'll install the new one when it arrives in the next few days. I don't know about you, but $500 an hour for labor seems excessive to me. Obviously I'm in the wrong profession. Meanwhile, I'm going to remove the DuPage Radon sticker from the cover just out of spite.
