Super clean facility and it felt very welcoming. Unfortunately, I was just SO nervous about my first time getting a Brazilian, that I could barely focus on those details. I'll be honest, while I was waiting on the table for the esthetician to come back in, I was actively trying to convince myself to stay on the table and not run out of there (no offense, Evy ... you did a great job!). Evy did an amazing job! I asked her to explain what I should expect and what the pain level might be, and she was super honest and she explained what she would be doing. I really appreciated that and she put me at ease. I know everyone's experience is going to be different "down there," but I can honestly say that it was not a terrible experience for me. The worst pain I felt was about a "5" on the scale from 1-10, and when I told Evy that, she said that's the area that would have been the worst. So go US! :) Anyways, all that to say, I totally worked myself up for no reason, and I would absolutely go back to Evy and Painless Waxing Boutique for another/regular Brazilian wax. Love this place! My New Year's Resolution (well, one of them) was to get my bikini line right. In the past I have gotten waxes before big trips, but then something would always pop up and I would shave and ruin it. This year I have decided to work through it. I have been here 4 times now, each time with Astrid, and it has been wonderful! I get the French Bikini Wax and love that she asks about shape and everything so that you know what you are getting. She was also super helpful in at home care advice, and gave great product recommendations. The salon owner has their own exfoliator, which I love, and they also have a variety of other products. Astrid was great with helping me pick products and even wrote down the proper order / routine to use them in so I could take care of everything at home too. Overall, definitely recommend coming here for your bikini wax needs. I actually had to reschedule the same day with no problems. I went during the evening hours on a Thursday, there was ample street parking In BDSM I understand the difference between a master and director, but it was hard to differentiate via the website, so I booked a sugar Brazilian with the director. She was wonderful - detailed, fast, chill vibe and funny! I am extra plus size and appreciated the ease in positioning. Now, idk if some of the folks reviewing are into masochism, but they lied. Sugar hurt was more painful than the waxing, however kitty did not experience the same level of irritation as waxing. First timers receive a welcome package with a few coupons. And the store has lovely merch to purchase. I also liked that the tip is via cash or a direct app to the estheticians. The environment is calm with great music, but they need a damn fan! I don't know if I sweating from the pain, anticipation of the pain the lights or all this juicy goodness! read more

I followed my esthetician here from somewhere else because I am definitely not a stalker. But really, Sabrina does an amazing job. I over tweezed my brows too much back in high school, and they've grown in since, but I'm not always sure how to manage them. Sabrina is. She makes the most beautiful shape out of them and responds exactly to what I want. She's very funny and fun to be around when you're getting hair ripped out of anywhere! The front desk staff members are also welcoming and friendly. Prices are pretty fair for the area. They give out coupons and promotions decently often. Unlike many spots, this waxing place actually gives you numbing drops if you want to sprinkle them onto wherever you're getting waxed. I just moved to Chicago and was in need of a new wax salon after the first one I tried was a nightmare (check my reviews for that) and I have definitely found my new place. I had my first appointment here tonight for a Brazilian and it was painless. Astrid is amazing! She is thorough, gentle and most importantly she is kind and friendly. I have had a Brazilian done before and so each time after your first is not as painful but I haven't had one this painless before. She also does tweezing which not every salon will do. It's much appreciated to not have to do it myself. When I checked out I got a nice welcome letter, a sugar scrub sample and a coupon for other services. Little touches like this are really nice, to me at least. They are taking great precautions for Covid safety are clean and I felt comfortable the whole time. Rose who is their front desk coordinator was so kind and welcoming. Seeing as she is the first person you will interact with I think it's important to mention. I tend to only leave good reviews but unfortunately feel I need to share my experience. Everything about my service was fine except for the actual Brazilian wax. Lobby and receptionist were great, super sanitized. Unfortunately the wax used was predominately a wax strip for the bulk of my wax and finished with minimal use of hard wax. When I asked about using hard wax instead, it was noted that we would before I left, again probably 3/4ths of my wax was used with a wax strip. I sat through the pain of the wax strip on my bikini area, and left with my skin inflamed. Unfortunately the wax strip left bumps and ingrown hairs for weeks after. I've never had ingrown hairs after the use of hard wax and holy moly were there tens of ingrowns after the wax strip was used. I will not be returning as this was the most painful wax I've ever had as any other bikini/Brazilian wax I've had has solely used Hard Wax rather than a wax strip. Just an FYI if you're going, ask in advance if they use hard wax or a wax strip for your bikini area. Ouch!! read more

If you are new to Brazilians you should ABSOLUTELY go here (and I can't recommend Taylor enough, she is amazing!) It's clean, comfortable, private, everything you could ask for. It's a wonderful introduction to the world of Brazilians. I'm keeping the rating at 5 stars because they have a lot to offer but I no longer come here as I find it is quite expensive for something I choose to do monthly. I have found someone else who does the same quality work for $20 less so I have switched it up. But I still recommend them, especially for last minute appointments! read more

First of all, I want to say the name truly speaks for itself. Painless brow and Brazilian wax. They use a soft wax mainly and only hard wax when needed. That makes such a difference! Also the employees are all friendly and extremely knowledgeable! The place was extremely clean, comfy, and relaxing. My technician Evy was great! She was personable, professional, and did an amazing Job with my eyebrows which are very difficult to wax how I like them. The cost is reasonable and I'd say better than other places that charge the same because this place does the job right. I love how they have a little store up front from exfoliates to gloves to earrings! Great spot for all waxing needs! Looking forward to going there again. read more
