Pam, Shellie (especially Shellie), Lindsay and Hannah from Chicago Anytime Assistants are AMAZING!!!! My life is changed because of them being in it. I've had a very long list of things that needed to get done around the house - as well as needing some help for my business. I run a small business and work from home - so I never have time to do the things I need to do. I googled personal assistants and was very impressed with their web page. I could see they had great attention to detail and looked like they had good customer service. And these Yelp reviews were great. So I filled out their "contact us" form around 10pm on a Sun night - hoping to hear in the next day or 2 - but what happened? About 30 min later an email from Pam! Just my kind of person!!! We met and I signed up right away -- that was about 4-5 months ago. I can't remember because I can't think what it was like before them. Shellie showed up the next week and oh my gosh! I didn't think we could accomplish as much as we did. She is AMAZING!!! She comes in, gets some minor direction and goes to work. All my closets are organized - donations logged and taken away with the donation receipt brought back the next time. My den which was filled with boxes and stuff to be filed and completely unorganized is now in order. I even have empty shelves. It was so easy to make decisions of what to toss. They also can arrange all kinds of specialists to come in - my ducts are cleaned, carpets cleaned and the long list of handyman tasks are DONE! Pam and Hannah helped plan my family reunion - including hotel research, bus research and creating an amazing itinerary that I could send out - including dealing with a number of changes. And then Shellie came over the week of and helped do all the last minute things - including cleaning the terrace and getting all the little things done. And now they are tackling our business storage locker. Shellie and Lindsay are working wonders - 2 carloads of recycling and 7 boxes of shredding already taken away. They are completely reorganizing it so we can find what we need and getting rid of what we don't need. So - yes I highly recommend these guys - and have to anyone that I can. The one thing that none of us have enough of is TIME! My wife and I both work, and we have 2 teenage kids that are busy with school, extracurriculars, sports, etc. We found that we just did not have enough time to get it all done. Then came CAA! My wife "won" a gift certificate at a silent auction. We made a call. Pam sent Brittany. Life became a little more sane. Dry cleaning that would pile up because I could not drop off on weekends due to kids' schedules....done! Brittany completes on Tuedays. The pants, shoes or other mail order goods that needed to be returned to Lands End, Zappos, or Amazon that would age in a pile by the door, all the while interest piled up on the credit card...done!! Brittany takes to post office on Tuesdays. The boxes that need to go downstairs to the store room... you guessed it...done on Tuesday!! The photos that need scanning...done! The closet that needs organizing...done! The resulting goodwill donation....done!! What do I get in return? Peace of mind. I can sit and watch my son's basketball game or daughter's theatre production knowing that my to-do list is not growing by the minute. People ask..what does it cost? I recently spent a sister weekend in Chicago! It was a great trip!! However, I had unfortunately forgotten some very precious belongings in the safe of my hotel. I had spent DAY'S on the phone with NO LUCK, or help from the hotel. I spoke with the hotel manager, and the house keeping manager they had no care or concern. I was beginning to lose hope!!! After a major reorganization and de-clutter of my office, I was left with a big box of To-Do's, things that had been sitting around waiting for attention for a long time. None of them was particularly mentally taxing, but all were time-consuming. I made a list of those things I felt comfortable giving to someone to do, and asked Pam to help. She and her staff took care of shopping around used camera equipment and selling it on my behalf (with my approval). They sorted through and organized my archived CD's and DVD's by month and year into a new storage system. They even took care of getting data off of an old laptop, wiping the drive and bringing to an appropriate recycling center. They took care of these things in a lot less time than I could have done with daily life getting in the way. And, in addition to the time it saved me, the money made on the sale of used equipment more than paid for her service. I am a mom of an 8 month old and finding time to shop for clothing for me is difficult. I did, however, find a few minutes two days ago to quickly browse for a much needed winter coat in person. While I was successful in finding THE coat, the store didn't have my size. So with my limited time, I gave up, and left the store coatless! I came home that night and began the online search process for the coat. I've become a very savvy online shopper these days, but I was unable to find it... anywhere, and became desperate. I called Pam and gave her the details of the coat, places I had looked, etc, etc. She took the information and (I'm not kidding you) she called me back one hour later and asked for my method of payment. I had found an item in Chicago I wanted and could not get it shipped to me after having no luck with a few dealers in my area I googled on line and found Pam and her website Chicago Anytime Assistants. I sent an email and heard back from her with a suggestion that we talk on the phone the next day. We did, I explained my situation living in New Jersey and needing something from Chicago and gave her the information she needed and by the end of the day I got an email my items were on their way she contacted the store and picked them up that afternoon when they were ready. I've now been working with Chicago Anytime Assistants for more than two years. I say "working with", but actually it's Pam and her great staff who have done all of the work. I'm a landlord with a full-time job and was looking for someone to help cover service calls and deal with other errands and issues for my rental property. I've called on Chicago Anytime Assistants for help many times in the past two-plus years, and every single "assignment" has been handled flawlessly - with impressive efficiency and much-appreciated attention to detail. Pam and her assistants were the best with our move! I was pregnant and had 2 little ones and couldn't do all the work myself. She was very friendly and met with me right away when I called her.
