A simple recordings of loan modification that should've taken less than 2 weeks hadn't been done. Decided to cancel their service after waiting for over a month. Emails don't get answered in a timely manner (1+ week). Somehow, emails get "lost" or not "received" when replied directly to an existing conversation. There is no follow up as to what the current progress is and so forth. There is so much more I want to add, but I'm sure you'd be able to comprehend by reading other reviews. read more

I had bad experience working with this company as a buyer. After 12 days from cancelling my purchase , I am still waiting for my deposit check to come. I have tried to contact the company person several time for the return of deposit and he promised next day or today but the promises get broken every time. Do not pick this title company. They do not pay attention to detail which is the most basic principle of a title company right? When I got to closing appointment, they made us wait 30 minutes and then we were rushed through the signing process. If I was just given one minute to go over everything, I would've noticed the mistake of them charging me for HOA dues I had already paid months ago. After getting the final sellers statement 2 weeks later, i I called regarding this mistake and there was no explanation or apology except to ' contact your HOA'... I did and my HOA says ' contact Chicago title '.... Why do I have to do their job? I've spent 4 days trying to get my refund while on vacation in Europe What a joke! Stay the hell away read more

We had a great experience with Chicago Title!! They were hands on throughout the entire process. The communication was superior! If we sent a question via email, they normally answered within the hour (if not less) but definitely answered the same day. The day of closing went perfectly. They were prepared for me when I arrived. The gentleman who handled the signing was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. We worked with Kerrie and her and her team were awesome!! They are utterly incompetent. No responsive and promises things and can't deliver. First they promised title insurance will be updated once the updates are made to the deed; then came and told me that it will cost me approximately 9 times the amount they committed to because they were "misinformed" I even agreed to the higher fee. Then when I asked for it they keep on delaying and finally the "escrow officer" told me the "management" will respond to me. And now I don't have update from them. I worked with Chicago Title when purchasing my first home over the summer. Ashley Wickard was easy to work with and detail-oriented, and the office took appropriate covid precautions- meeting in lobby for required social distancing space. It's been four months and so far it seems all paperwork was done correctly. We received additional outstanding bills for the water and exterminator due by the previous owners, and Ashley was great about letting me know what to do and following up. I appreciate that they were thorough about explaining all of our documents and have been available for questions even after the sale. read more

My DISDAIN for the Kerrie Kissane Team is at it's peak. What a JOKE. They are without a doubt the WORST ESCROW 'team' I have EVER worked with. And I say WORKED WITH, because as THE BUYER, I did a TON of THEIR WORK. I THINK that I had MAYBE two phone calls returned. I waited THREE WEEKS to get the Title Report. It is a REALLY, REALLY IMPORTANT document that the Buyer(s) and Seller(s) READ. There is VALUABLE and IMPORTANT INFORMATION about the property on the Title Report. HOA DOCS, again, REALLY, REALLY IMPORTANT TO READ. Lender had, Agent had, the BUYERS, well that would be a BIG NO. WAITED OVER THREE WEEKS and HOUNDED them, finally received. From my AGENT. The agent and lender received these IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS, but I guess (KNOW) that the people PAYING them and purchasing OR selling the home come LAST. Settlement statement, nada. 'Oh, that will be with your loan docs'. INCORRECT settlement statement at doc signing. I am PRAYING that they do NOT SCREW UP OUR homeowners insurance payment. It does NOT look good. Nope, NOT hopeful. Which means that I THE BUYER will need to call my insurance company to make SURE that they received payment. Oh, wiring amount, pretty important, right? NOPE. Since the settlement statement is/was INCORRECT, just MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA to get that CORRECT WIRING AMOUNT. My agent, EXTRAORDINAIRE, had to call them, ONCE AGAIN to get the amount and see if MAYBE we can FINALLY get the CORRECTED SETTLEMENT STATEMENT for the CORRECT WIRING AMOUNT. I worked in Real Estate, I know what is what and this 'joint' is W.H.A.T.??????, you are joking, W.H.A.T??????! Chicago Title and Escrow is generally a terrific company. I have had literally at least a HUNDRED or more deals with Chicago, and NEVER this MESS. NEVER, EVER. IF, I had been a first time Buyer and ZERO real estate knowledge, this would have been a TOTAL 'you know what show'. The ONE star is only so I could write a review to WARN Buyers AND Sellers to get advice so that you know 'WHAT IS WHAT', you the Buyers OR Sellers are fully able to call corporate IF you have an issue OR problem with ANY Title OR Escrow company. This company is completely incompetent. Seriously, find another title company, assuming you have the option... Ashley Wickard was our escrow officer. Short version: Chicago Title made multiple critical (and easily avoidable) errors that cost us money and delayed the closing on our house. Long version: My wife and I live in CA, and just bought a home in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Chicago Title was the title company we had to work with during this process. Chicago Title somehow excluded an entire critical document when they sent everything to the notary that we signed with (remotely, from CA), and didn't realize it until the day of closing. We couldn't close without it. Fortunately, my wife and I were in Las Vegas on the day of closing (we were there because we were planning to gain access to the house as official owners together), so we were able to drive over and sign the forgotten document within 30 minutes of them notifying us of the error. We knew their error delayed the process, but they assured us that everything would still be completed that day, and we would officially own the property "within a few hours" (it was about noon when they realized their mistake and called us about it, so about 12:30pm when we signed the document). My wife and I (and our agent) waited until about 6:00pm that evening for Chicago Title (Ashley, or her team) to notify us that the recording was complete, but finally gave up when our agent didn't receive any response at all from Chicago Title (after our agent and his assistant reached out to them multiple times for updates). Our agent had to get home to his family, and my wife had to head back to CA (I stayed in Las Vegas to oversee the flooring and painting jobs we wanted completed before we moved in). Well, it turns out that everything actually DID record with the county at 5:15pm, but they didn't let our agent know this (for some reason) until about 10:00pm. Our agent had already returned home to his family, and my wife had already driven back to CA. We ended up having to postpone our flooring job an entire day as a result, which cost us money. Plus (and I realize this is mostly symbolic and may sound cheesy to some of you), my wife and I missed our opportunity to walk into our new home together as official owners. In short, you are much better off using another title company to avoid this type of situation. We paid them a lot of money to do a relatively simple job, and they failed us. read more

If I have the option to rate this to zero that be it. I purchased my home and Chicago Title did all my documents. Signed it on time and did the closing. What I signed was not followed by this company. Today I found out that my home insurance listed to be paid off by Chicago Title for whole amount was short paid and now my home insurance is inactive. I don't know what their office was trying to do, but their crooks. If you're to run a business like this just do it right. You are dealing with big purchases and people like me don't sit around and wait for the money to fall just to flash it on the drain. If I have another option later to purchase a home, I would stay away from this company. They will not work on you after they get what they want. They are lack in communication. read more

Stay far away from this company they don't hold themselves accountable for their actions. Before closing a year ago they forgot to request demands from the Master HOA and they forgot to send title to HOA after closing. So a year later we get a bill from HOA stating that we owe $1,000. I wouldn't be owing them this much if CHICAGO TITLE would've done their job right from the beginning. The lady that did our paperwork doesn't even work there anymore. Long story short they didn't do their part at closing So much for a title company. Don't ever use them. Im not the type to go online and put bad reviews but I really felt I had to with them. I WILL BE TELLING ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I will be reporting them to RED and taking it to small claims court. read more

Do not use Chicago title. First they forgot to order HOA resale packages and when we were set to close they had to rush the paperwork as wanted to stick me with the bill. After closing they dispersed the refund checks and after a few days they wanted it back!!! Guess what they forgot something else! Then wanted me to wire transfer money and wanted me to pay for it. Definitely would never EVER recommend this company to anyone and this is not hood businesses should be ran. read more

Chicago Title at this location is impeccable. We were executing a 1031 exchange for property in Los Angeles with properties in Vegas. Since we were going out of town for the holiday seasons, the sellers would like to have escrows closed in 3 weeks. We were looking for a reliable escrow company in Nevada that would help us to complete the escrow procedures. Chicago Title was referred to us. Jennifer and her assistant, Sarah were on top of things. They provided us with up to date information on the progress almost every day. Escrow was closed with a 3 days' delay, due to some sort of computer mishap with the Exchange Accommodator. Sarah was on top to have the problem resolved. We highly recommend Jennifer and her staffs at Chicago Title for all your escrow needs. read more

Unfortunately I used Chicago Title as the title company for the closing of my house. It is impossible to receive a call back from them and every time I do actually speak to someone they give me the run around and for the 3rd time have told me they haven't received information that I know for a fact they have received. I don't recommend using them if you like work done promptly or like communication. read more
