We scheduled evaluation and repair on our outside faucet that had started to freeze with the cold weather. Maxwell Janik, of Chicagoland Plumbing Services, was able to fix the problem and replace the faucet very quickly. He was efficient and did quality work. My only quibble was the price; the last time we had this done, admittedly before the advent of relatively high inflation, was significantly less (different company). However, I did expect prices to raise, so this was not that much of a surprise. I do feel like the price was fair, but on the high side of fair. I would very much recommend Chicagoland Plumbing Services, and Mr. Janik in particular, to do a complete, efficient, quality job. The work is not cheap-quality never is. read more

I needed a wax ring replaced in my toilet. I called two places and got recordings .....one said we'll get back to you as soon as we can and the other said they would call me the next business day if it were a non-emergency.....never got a call From either. I called Chicagoland Plumbing Services sand someone actually answered the phone! She was very nice and said there was a cancellation and a plumber would be here in an hour. I noticed a problem concerning my catch basin and contacted Jason at MJP. A plumbing tech came out the next day and evaluated the sewer line that had blockage. Devin set up his camera and ran it through the line to show me the blockage and recommended it be cleaned with a high pressure jet. I had an appointment set up and Jason called stating they had an opening today in the afternoon. Drew and Jayden came by and cleared the clog quickly. They then took their time and cleaned roots and other minor debris throughout the run. Professional, knowledgeable and personable. Strong work by a top notch plumbing outfit and their crew. These guys are always very professional. We found a problem with our sump pump in Christmas morning, we knew nothing could be don so we unplugged it. We called and left a message about what the problem was on Saturday afternoon, didn't think it was an emergency and waited for a call back on Monday. 8:30am MONDAY I received a call that I could have someone here between 11:30-12:00pm...Perfect! I received a text that the tech was on his way, few minutes later he was at my door. He had on his mask and put shoe covers on to protect my floors. He'd take them off everytime a he had to go outside and put them back on when he came in. We have used them in the past for emergencies ( like when our hot water heater flooded our lower level) and to have our main shut off valve replaced to changing out faucets in our full bath. I cannot say enough nice things about them! They are a great family company to do business with. read more

Contacted them about water damage that occurred on the 1st floor ceiling under a 2nd floor bathroom. Was prompt and able to come out the following day. Fixed a wax ring under the toilet, however "could not warranty the work" because our toilet fills with hot water and that could be causing the leek. Did some of my own research and found out that they make a neoprene ring that they could have used instead and that way warrantied the work. Very expensive for a very inexpensive part and only 45 minutes of work. No breakdown of costs on bill- just a price! read more

Great service! At 7:30 a.m. I called a very helpful and cheerful woman about my dead water heater. She got all my info right the first time (my name is unusual), set up an appointment for within the next two hours, and really made me feel I picked the right company to do the job. The repair man was personable, knowledgeable, and did everything just right. It took exactly the amount of time to do the job that I was originally told. Cost seemed reasonable and the service was certainly worth every penny. Would absolutely call them every time I needed a plumber! read more

Very professional company. Our plumber was very pleasant and informative. We were able to get an appointment within a day and plumber accommodated our schedule. Our issue was a leaky kitchen faucet hose and we were having trouble installing the replacement. We figured we just did not have the right tools to tighten. The plumber assessed the situation, tried our replacement parts, and deemed that the replacement part we got for the hose was defective or too cheap and that we would just need a new faucet altogether. I guess we are just a little frustrated that the plumber was here for an hour, we still don't have a working kitchen faucet, and were charged $150 to be told that we need to buy a new faucet(at our own cost) and that it will be $190 for the install of the new faucet. Overall, pricey, but good service, and the plumber was very competent. May try another company next time due to price. read more

Chicagoland Plumbing has the worst service. I scheduled an appointment days in advance and they stood me up. I rescheduled and was stood up again. Then, when I complained that I had missed work waiting for them, Brian the plumber told me he didn't need or want my business. Extremely unprofessional. Beware of the glowing 5 star reviews. read more
