We finally found this place, which is a 26 minute drive from where we live. We loved it so much that we bought a catering package that included eight chickens and multiple sides for a July 4 fireworks viewing party for our friends. Everything was fantastic, including all the sides and traditional sauces. In case you have never had it, unlike some other Latin American chicken available, the Peruvian chicken is marinated in spices for 24 hours before being spitted and roasted on a moving carousel right in front of you. This place does an excellent job and what it sells is perfect for wowing your friends at parties. Make sure to order enough so they can take some home, which is what we did.

I know more about Cuban sandwiches now than I did back in 2017 and would say this one while not so standard was still very flavorful. They list more meats on their menu than the traditional pork roast and ham. I peeked inside and didn't see anything else besides the two but I also didn't deconstruct the entire sandwich or look that closely inside. The menu didn't mention pickle and I didn't see or taste any, so that was too bad. I really liked the hot melty cheese and the bread was soft. Cut into three parts, it was very easy to eat and enjoy. It came with chips and I got a can of diet coke. It is a small place that is also a grocery store. They have a few tables and several counter seats. An informal place. I was able to place my order but due to my inability to speak Spanish couldn't really engage in conversation. Plenty of parking just outside.
