If you know, you know... and Abuhan definitely hits when the craving kicks in…read more This is my go-to when I want Filipino food but don't feel like cooking it myself (because that's a whole process ). Most people wouldn't guess I'm half Filipino--my dad is white and clearly had a strong influence lol. I usually get mistaken for Hispanic, but nope... Mestiza The food is always solid. The lumpia is really good--crispy, flavorful, and that sweet and sour sauce takes it to the next level. They regularly have bangus and pompano, which I love. You can choose rice or pancit as your base, and the dishes rotate daily, which keeps things interesting. I've seen everything from sinigang, dinuguan, and menudo to afritada, tinola, mongo, and Bicol Express. They also have desserts like hopia, cassava cake, leche flan, and ube options. I'd love to see sapin-sapin there one day! It's close to both my job and home, which makes it super convenient. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.

It was this chicken and rice with veggies and then she got me some lumpia? With a Ube cake with a dulce de leche topping that was hands down worth the 5 stars by itself. Having never been inside I can't say what the ambiance is like but I will be going in person

Came here for Saturday evening dinner. We made reservation a few days in advance. Place was super…read morepacked and a little loud. Service was exceptional, actually ever helpful since the menu is huge and it's hard to know what to order, waiter was showing us pictures of the dishes. I did find the menu to be way too large and overwhelming. I would prefer to have it smaller. It took us awhile to figure out what to order. The vibe is very similar to the "meat market", pretty loud, old men on a gear with super young women drinking. We were seated far away in the corner and we were happy about that. They had non alcoholic cocktails, but server told us that they all super sweet and he recommended virgin mojito. Which was very good. We ordered miso cauliflower, which was great, and the portion was pretty decent. Crispy rice spicy tuna was amazing, we loved it. We also had salmon tartare and island maki sushi. Everything was exceptional. We got recommended to get a cheesecake and my husband loved it but I didn't like it at all. I was expecting more Asian style but it was super American overly sweet cheesecake. I don't like very sweet food, so it wasn't my thing. But they did have hot tea which was great to end the dinner with.

This was such a fun experience eating a fusion of Japanese and Filipino food. I loved the adobo…read morepork belly fried rice! I would say it's a must have here! Full of flavor and perfectly balanced with mushrooms and other veggies. we did half and half of the crispy rice so 2 wagyu and 2 spicy tuna! It's not on the menu, but you can easily do the half/half style for more of a sampler. The wagyu was super soft and tender. I LOVED the adobo pork belly steamed buns. We also did half and half with 2 pork belly and 2 Korean fried chicken. The kfc was nothing special I would definitely rather get only pork belly steamed buns next time. The buns themselves were super fluffy and soft! Sushi was pretty mid. The other main dishes and dim sum carry, and would rather spend money on that than sushi. We got the midori, sake me crazy and a sweet potato caterpillar roll. All of it had too much rice in the roll and considering all the rolls are $21 and upwards it makes it feel cheap. Service was great! Good ambiance very lively.
