I been here a few times. Always order steak tacos and pork tacos. I did order quesadillas one time it's very good but by the time we got it home the back of it was soggy. It's best to eat it soon as you get it. Their red hot sauce has no taste it's not even hot or even mild. Overall it's a good place to get tacos and they're very fast. read more

Great place for quick service , authentic tacos at a decent price. The shrimp tostada didn't have actual shrimp but instead imitation crab meat which was a surprise but still a great crunch . The skirt steak tacos were my favorite!!! So flavorful along with the carnitas and beef barbacoa tacos. The rice and beans came in a really big size for a great price ! The only downside is they charge a 8.5% tax when you use a card to pay so it's best to have cash. read more

Delicious tacos and nachos. We ate here twice during our vacation at Little Harbor. It was authentic and very reasonably priced.

I get food from here every week or two. They are always super fast getting out the food. Yes, tacos are typically a bit greasy. I usually get tacos, tostadas or the burrito with fajita or al pastor. And always the charro beans ( I get rid of the chicharron and eat the rest). Food is always hot, prices are great. They're doing something right cuz there's always people there. read more

This one of the more authentic Mexican food trucks that I've been to in a while. The food is always delicious. They have a wide selection of food. I always get tacos and tostadas with Al Pastor meat. Although on the greasier side, it's full of flavor. For some reason, the sodas they have there taste different than ones you buy at the store. Although they're in a can or bottle, they have more flavor. I'm not sure if it's in my head, but the Cokes taste like Cokes in other countries. Anyway, bring cash; they don't take cards. What I like about this place: The separate garnish/salsa station. They whip out the meat on tortillas, you put on the goods. Their salsas were very good and obviously freshly prepared. Everything appears fairly priced as well. I haven't had anything but tacos so far, but I need to come back for other stuff. Something I didn't like: The tortillas could use some more time on the griddle (or any time).. They weren't cold, but they weren't piping hot and supple either. Other than that.. As your tires crunch onto the gravel parking lot, a smell that reminds me of entering the kitchen of a large Mexican woman named Lupe. Don't expect a hostess... in fact, don't even expect English... two signs of a great Mexican eatery. And although I didn't see Lupe in that hollowed out trailer of deliciousness, I did taste the authentic tacos that she would have made. Ditch the Tex-Mex gringo food and have a real cultural experience. Here's a little trivia for you... the character on the menu is called "El Chavo del Ocho"... he's a character from a popular show called "Chespirito". That's how authentic this place is. read more

I will start out with the negative: they can be a little rude, they mess up our orders fairly often, and there is a taco stand in Wimauma by the Circle K with the same name that is much better and the people are a lot nicer. That being said, we come here every other week almost. The food is good, fresh and cheap. Yeah, the other place is better but not so much better that it's worth the extra drive from Ruskin. This is our go-to food when we want take out. Just make sure if you like this place to go to the one in Wimauma sometime too. read more

my wife and i were on a day trip to apollo beach/ruskin area and we really wanted tacos. after searching on yelp, our first choice was packed and no seats were available so we left to find another place. our only reason for this place was that it took plastic. taqueria guanajuato was near by and we scrounged up enough cash for taco brunch. i had 4 pork tacos (half my going rate of tacos, there were dinner plans for later which was a 32 oz steak that didnt end up happening), she had a chicken taco and nachos. she really liked her chicken taco but the nachos left a lot to be desired. she said the cheese was cold and it was more like a soup. it didnt look good to me either. given that truck tacos are small, she was left hungry; because she ate what she could of the nachos before we threw it out. my pork tacos on the other hand were great. you cant go wrong with that at any taco truck. everyone has their own style and i really liked their version. i wasnt thrilled with how few sauteed onions and the one pepper i got, but whatever they still had good flavor to them. two cups of sour cream is a buck, i dont recall anything like a house green sauce or hot sauce, no limes either. that didnt occur to me until now. everyone has their own presentation. tell you what though, what i REALLY liked is how freaking quick they were with making food. it was as busy as most trucks i go to, but i barely had to wait 5 minutes. everything is handed out one dish at a time as it's finished - which kind of sucks with the back and forth - but that it was all done relatively soon after we paid for it was enough to make up for the 3 trips to our spot. read more

This is an outdoor eatery. The food is ALWAYS fresh and really good. I always get the beef burrito for $5. You get the burrito which is rather large filled with the meat of your choice, rice and cheese. You also get a small salad. One of my favorite reason to eat here is the salsas and tomato onion cilantro mix they make. It's all in the fridge under the topper. YUM! read more

Best Mexican food around Ruskin. I moved here in 2011 and I can tell you these guys are definitely doing something right. The food is great and usually super fast service. When you get a chance try the "Steak or Chicken Mix" order it just like that. Whichever you prefer. It's a huge bowl with Rice, beans, tortilla chips, corn tortillas and your choice of meat. Oh!
