This is the absolute worst run Chick-fil-A I've ever been too. There is no sense of efficiency or speed much less urgency. I will have to agree with the other reviewers who complained about the less-than-friendly service and long lines. But, y'all, this is a Chick fil a "express" in the student center of Auburn University. I'm not expecting the usual chick fil a service. There are a thousand and one students who are looking to order chick fil a at the same time you are. If you're like me, and all you care about is your Spicy Chicken Meal with Sweet tea and Polynesian sauce, than look no further. But if it's proper friendly service you're looking for, you should probably take an extra 10 min walk to the Chick fil a on Magnolia (super friendly service there). The lines can get really long at the student center location, so make sure your iPhone is all charged up so you can insta/snap/fb/twitter while you're in line. There are also plenty of seating areas inside the student center and outside if you want some sun. This chick fil a will probably turn away ppl who are visiting AU as guests but if you're a student, just ignore the staff and get your food and go. All I know is, when I'm craving chik fil a... All I want is that sandwich & nothing can stop me.... No rain, no tornado.. Not even unfriendly staff and a few stale fries ; Long live chick-fil-a in the AU student center! This place is not like the other chick fil as I've been to. The fried chicken is soggy and the fries where cold. One time the line stretched around the building and all I needed was a cup of water. They said I had to wait in the whole line just for a cup of water. The service is rude and not delightful. Puts a horrible look on the chick fil a reputation. I love chick fil a as a company and all other restaurants are great. But this location is to be avoided. The employees couldn't be more rude. Will not be coming back. read more

Long lines, gruff, service. Limited "express" menu means a few of your favorites won't be available here. Chicken and fries were good, just took way too long and the staff weren't very friendly. Chick-fil-A is amazing but this location is limited in its services. If you don't generally like Chick-fil-A, this is not the place for you. They let you order ahead via Grubhub, but during lunch and dinner hours, the Grubhub lines get very long (30-50 minutes) so it's a good idea to order in person if possible, as I have found they will get your order out within 10 minutes of placing it if you do that. read more

Ok, I'm a huge Chick-fil-A fan but this place give the entire franchise a bad name. It is apparent that these are not normal employees that are hired and trained by the company, but rather stand-ins from a staffing agency that the University has contracted with. The lines are a mile long, service is abysmal, and the food is stale. And once you finally get your stale food you have the pleasure of eating it in a dirty and disorganized cafeteria room. The only reason this location gets so much traffic is because the University forces students to "pre-pay" for their meals on campus so they are all stuck putting up with this place. As for me, I will head to the Magnolia Street location for ACTUAL Chick-fil-A service. read more

Agree with other comments about the "express" menu and service. No friendly smiles from the workers and an overall moody disposition from them. I was extremely disappointed with the limited menu. An establishment built around glorifying god has been blessed by the lord himself to be the highest quality in every aspect. Best chicken sandwich in the game. Probably the only renowned staff in all of fast food. But with food this great come lines that fill an entire room, and Chic-fil-a has found a way to turn what would be an hour long wait at most places into a lightning fast process. There have been times where they have been ready with my food before they were ready with my drink, now thats efficiency. Undoubtedly the greatest fast food restaurant on the planet. 10/10 read more

The "express" in the title of this Chick-fil-a? If somebody decided to file a lawsuit for false advertisement, they just might win it. I don't even know where to begin with this place. So I'll start with the obvious. This place is not like any actual Chick-fil-a you'll probably ever go to, and I don't mean that in a good way. Or maybe that is good, because then this will be the only one that's borderline terrible. They have quite a tendency to run out of things and then take 15-30 minutes to get them out to you. The fries? Don't bother. Pretty much always stale. I've probably got about a 30% hit rate on getting fries that aren't stale just because sometimes one of my friends wants me to get them some. I've long since given up on them otherwise. That whole express thing? Yeah... no. Plan to be there for 45 minutes and maybe just maybe you'll get out of there in half the time if you're lucky. While, admittedly, this place sees alot of traffic, if they'd just open up both sets of the registers and appropriately staff the place, it wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue. But of course given that this place is still one of the better options for utilizing your forced meal plan, I guess there's no real reason for decent customer service. So many of the options are so bad or inconveniently placed that Chick-fil-a nearly has an accidental monopoly on student dining. Speaking of customer service, that's probably the quickest way to know you're not at an actual Chick-fil-a. You see, at a normal Chick-fil-a you'll likely find mostly (if not all) friendly workers. Here? Not so much. You approach the counter and you won't get a hello nor an acknowledgement that they're ready to take your order. You'll be met with a blank stare as they wait for you to assume that they're ready to take your order. Which by the way, sometimes they're not. But you won't know until you start in with your order and they ask you to wait after saying nothing when you got to the counter. On a really lucky day you'll get someone at the register who's obviously grouchy and reluctant to do their job AND a manager who doesn't give a flip. Oh yeah, management? Hit or miss. Some of the managers care, some don't. If you've waited 30 minutes for food, if you've got a good manager, they'll at least offer something to compensate you. And then there are the situations where you wait 30 minutes for food, finally get it, the order is wrong, and nobody cares. Wonderful. And breakfast on the weekend? Forget about it. The line is even longer, the waits are completely absurd, and you can just about guarantee that they won't actually be open on time. They might, and I do mean MIGHT, be open by 9:00. If you want anything but a chicken biscuit before then (I mean a regular one, don't bother with spicy), well, don't expect much. Of course it's a catch 22 one way or another. Get there when they "open" and they won't have anything ready (again, except regular chicken biscuits). Get there when they have food ready, and you'll be in line for 30-45 minutes anyway. Seriously, if I ever bother to go there for breakfast again and manage to leave with Chick-n-minis before 8:45, I might beg to be slapped just to be sure I'm awake. Oh, and if you do go for breakfast and you order more than one thing and have to wait for something, make sure you tell them to set your food aside under the lamp. Otherwise they'll just sit it on the counter and it'll have to be reheated by the time whatever you're waiting for finally shows up. read more
