Most people love Chik-Fil-A. My first time eating their food was at the Burlington Mall. I thought their sandwich was basic. I now have a Chik-Fil-A in Brockton.. I ordered the classic Chicken Sandwich with pickles I added mayo which in the condiment section, 12 piece nuggets, and med waffle fries. My food was just okay. I ordered two meals through the drive thru, when I got home I've noticed that they only included one of the two meals, mind you I don't live close to this location so I had to drive back from where I live to grab my food. It only takes a double check to avoid this! I love this place. Its so nice to get a chicken sandwich with a whole chicken breast and not some chopped up shaped rib meat concoction. The line at this place on a Saturday lunch time was incredible, a testament to the quality of the food, even the double lane drive through ran into the parking lot Not a huge menu, but the stuff on there is made fresh to order and tastes great. The standard chicken sandwich with pickles on a fresh roll was my order, i added waffle fries and picked up some Chick Fill A sauce for dipping along with a side of sweetened ice tea, #2 got the spicy chicken sandwich which was outstanding. I will say this, the sweet ice tea is very, very sweet, but washes the salty waffle fries down nicely. Service was the only let down, i think they forgot about us as we were sitting outside, i noticed people heading out after us getting their food so i went back inside to find out what was up and was given a line about running out of sandwiches, obviously not true as everyone else in line behind us had their's, even folks that came out 10 mins after us.... Anyway they made it right and brought out our meal after i inquired where ours were, no apology, here's your food, and that was it. I'm a huge chic-fil-a stan despite the questionable political views of their ceo. The customer service at every location I've ever been to across the country has been impeccable. Quick, efficient, polite and the food is always very good considering it's fast food. This particular location in Brockton is so bad. It's most definitely not up to the typical chic-Gil-a standard. It always takes so long to do anything here. The line is slow in person and the drive thru. Mobile ordering is the best way to go, but 100% of the time, they forget to give me my drink. Then when I ask for it, they give me attitude...like it's my fault. The customer service is terrible, but the food is still solid. I feel like people go to this place for the over the top customer service and happy employees, if that's what you're seeking, you'll be disappointed. Today I made a quick stop and decided to dine in with my 1 year old. The hospitality and kindness I experienced today was truly surprising. The cashier was so pleasant and smiled at me. He noticed me having a difficult time carrying my daughter and our food tray so he helped me to my seat and even grabbed her a high chair. Then shortly after being seated, another man brought us our food and also brought more napkins and utensils so I could cut my daughters food. The other day I spent $25 on food including various sandwiches and etc enough for 3 people to eat. They gave me 2 sauces and one ketchup. When I asked them for more they had the audacity to tell me that they can only give 2 sauces per meal and if I wanted more it will be extra money. Horrible experience! This was my first and last time going to chick-fil-a Brockton. I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches with 4 small fries. When I got to the window they gave me my food and I should have a checked my order before driving off but I didn't and I noticed I didn't get my fries. So I pulled around the front and told an employee that I didn't get my fries and she said she would go check out what happened. A few seconds later she came out and said if I don't have my receipt there was nothing she could do. I know my fault I should have asked for my receipt but I have never had a problem like this before. So I asked for a manager and Lucky me the owner was there so I'm sure she would straighten this out. But believe it or not she begins to argue with me about not having my receipt as well so I went to my phone pulled up my credit card statement showing the transaction that I just made at chick-fil-a. She finally came back reluctantly with 4 small fries and rudely said "here you go" with no apology like she still didn't believe that I had paid for these fries!! Any other place would have upgraded them for large or something! I wasn't looking for that but I definitely shouldn't have to feel like I was in the wrong for this which is how she made me feel. The woman who took my order outside was super nice. That's the only positive about that experience. I ordered large fries so I could share with my son and when I got my order there were just enough fries to cover the bottom of the fry container. A kids meal gets more then that. Speaking of kids meal, where was the book? Nowhere to be found. My son was so sad he didn't get a toy. The woman who handed me my order could use an attitude adjustment. I was raised to always say "please" and "thank you" and "have a great day", apparently that warrants a snappy ass attitude. Very awful customer service. This is the second time in a week I go to chick fil a and they messed up my order. I told the person who took my order outside, I asked for a Cobb salad with no egg or no bacon, and they messed up my order. I've been a manager in a food business industry for 29 years, and I will never treat a customer the way I was treated at chick fil in Brockton. *BY THE MANAGER* I also ordered a spicy chicken deluxe with no tomatoes, as I clearly said, and that's what I received. When I called to see if someone could correct my order, the person who picked up was very rude, not apologetic, and she made the situation worse. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager. She should be handling any and all customer issues with professionalism and respect. She never apologized. She just said "Go to the front to correct your order." When she bought my order, she was rude and messed up my order again. She went inside to correct my order, and brought it back, and had an attitude this whole time and as well as when I was on the phone with her. Never received an apology. I asked to correct my order. I was surprised that she was the manager. She was very rude, I wasn't expecting anything free. All I wanted was my order to be correct the first or second time.
