When we arrived at the drive-thru, the employee's tone was disrespectful and the customer service was very poor. I provided the name associated with the order and was asked to pull forward. While waiting, the employee asked for the name again and then told me there was no order under that name and that she could not provide us with the food. I showed her the order receipt through the Popeyes app and explained that we had already been charged. She stated that her manager would not allow her to give us the order and asked us to continue waiting because the manager was on his way. We waited approximately 15-20 minutes for the manager to arrive. Unfortunately, the manager was also very disrespectful and told us there was nothing he could do because the restaurant would not get paid, despite us having both the order receipt and a bank statement showing that we had been charged for the food. The interaction was handled very unprofessionally, and we ultimately left without receiving the order we had already paid for. We then went to another Popeyes location and spoke with their manager. The manager at that location was extremely helpful and professional. He honored our order and apologized for the way we had been treated at the 7272 N Mesa St. location. I understand that mistakes can happen with online orders, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. Customers should not be treated disrespectfully, especially when they can provide proof that they placed and paid for an order. I strongly recommend reviewing the customer service and management practices at this location.
