I've gotten food here before and it was pretty good, but this time was a disaster. I ordered a whole muffuletta with double meat and double bacon. I asked for giardiniera on the side. I also ordered broccoli cheese, and chicken-wild rice soup with a half-turkey sandwich. The sandwich had marginal turkey on it, 2 pieces of bacon and not 4, and there was a small little container in the bag that had some more turkey in it, that they charged me $10.18 for. It was 2 oz. Apparently the bread was stale, as it was hard as a brick. I got two containers of soup, but neither was what I ordered. Pretty sure it was the pot pie soup. The people working were really young, and it didn't appear there was anyone who knew what was going on in there. They debated for about 5 minutes over the double turkey and double bacon. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location, at least in the evening. read more

The place looks like it's ready to host a major event of the magnitude of a wedding or something. But while that happens you can order some good food from their vast menu. It's fast and comes with some good ice cream which I will never say no to when my hands open those doors. The silence inside allows for some good conversation to take place without having an ear on the day's sporting event or random program showing on the screens. Glass all around so you won't miss any movements or action taking place around the premises. The parking is to match the tables inside so don't think you'll lack options. Now that Jason's deli has opened up on the West side of El Paso, it makes it convenient for those in the area to eat here rather than driving 20 to 25 mintes to the other restaurant. I stopped here with my family and you have a lot ot healthy options to choose from minus the blueberry drink I had - it was made with real cane sugar, so it was a little too sweet. The meal I picked was the chicken panini which was pretty good. For thise who want to enjoy a salad that option is available. As for the dessert lovers you have a large selection to choose from. As for the ice cream, they only have chocolate for right now. The coffee is also complimentary for coffee drinkers. I don't drink coffee but my wife said it was pretty good. $$ For those with a military ID card, you get a 10% discount. So make sure you try it. read more

I seldom post fast-food or casual dining experiences in the Yelposphere, but I can't help but want to share how great my experience was at Jason's Deli today. First, I screwed up my order, the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup--I meant to ask for my turkey/ham/cheese/croissant sandwich COLD, so it was served hot. My bad! I brought the sandwich back up to the counter after the server brought it to my table, and the line staff could not have been more apologetic! I say, "hey, it was my fault, not yours", but yet they felt so disappointed I wasn't happy with the sandwich and were so apologetic that I felt badly. A new sandwich was promptly brought back to my table. Not only was the sandwich great, but twice more before we left, a manager (or someone who could have been the manager) stopped by to make sure I was enjoying my meal and to ask if there was anything else they could do for me. I've been to nearly every "fine" dining establishment in El Paso, and from my own first-hand experience, it is rare that a manager every stops by to say hello and to ensure the experience is meeting my expectation, much less a casual dining outlet. It's almost unheard of at a causal dining place. The restaurant was sparkling clean and busy, so they're really watching the dining room like hawks, which is also rare. How many times to you observe a casual dining place filled with dirty tables, discarded trash everwhere, utensil dispensers out of utensils, unkept salad bars. Not here. Spotless and impeccable! NEVER ORDER ONLINE. This location is very clean and the staff is pleasant. However, save yourself the annoyance and never order online. My husband and I are under the weather, as everyone else this time of the year, so I order our food online and gave myself enough time to stop and get medication before picking it up thinking "I don't want our soups cold while I'm at Walmart". Well, that logic was stupid on my end. They had our food chilling on their rack. So when I saw that I made the comment of how our food is probably cold. Definitely was right on that. The cashier said she could heat it up for me. It's absolutely pointless to have you select a time of when you'd be there and to show up and see your food chilling on a rack. I'm sure you're wondering "well, we're you late?" Nope, I was actually 2 mins early from the 12:30-1 slot I picked. And did this unfortunate issue end there? Nope! I get home and I tell my husband the issue and as I grab my soup, I realize they gave me the wrong soup. So after screaming every curse word in the English and Spanish language, I drove all the way back to get the right soup. Jason's Deli is an excellent fast-casual spot. There are lots of options for vegetarians and omnivores alike, the service is very kind, attentive, and polite, and the food is very fresh. I like that you can watch your food being prepared. The manager and workers are really nice and come check in a few times while you dine. The salad bar is really nice and clean. The vegetables are crisp and fresh and restocked often. It's definitely not one of those trough type of salad bars. They have soft serve ice cream available, and it seems like folks enjoy it, but I didn't partake. I like that they have vegetarian soups. The spinach wrap is really tasty. I came here today with my family for lunch. We all ordered our food and then sat down. When they brought my food out, they had my order wrong so I told the man that I had asked for something else. No worries, he went and took it back to get the order fixed. The manager then comes out, and asked what the problem was. I tell her that I had asked for something different. The manager then shows me the receipt and tells me "well, this is what we charged you for, so if you want to change the order I'm going to have to charge you the difference." Why would you make the customer pay for your mistake? I've worked in food service before and if the customer asked for something different than what they were charged, we fixed it without charging them extra for our screw up. You do whatever you can to make things right for the customer. That manager needs to go back to training or get out of the customer service business. I gave two stars because the food was good and the rest of the employees were nice. read more

First of all the cleanliness of the restraint is wonderful and staff always seem to be cleaning up the drink station, salad bar, and tables. The meanie contains A LOT of gluten free options which is very rare especially for a lunch spot (amazing for dinner also). Survive is very fast even when they're busy and I've never had an order made incorrectly. It's easy to have a quick lunch under $10 here and it's always great! I always leave content with my meal and service in addition I am also content with my takeout orders and favor/ uber eats orders. They don't know the difference between corned beef and pastrami and argued with me about it. I was right and their customer service sucks. I have waited 3 months and two different promises for a $10 giftcard that never came. They should not be in the deli business without the basic sense of food knowledge and customer service. Amazing service! I was having issues with my last order and they offered a replacement. The new sandwich I was given was a vast improvement from the last one. The ham was delicious and cooked perfectly. The only thing I want to add is that they watered down the coleslaw a lot and that was partly my fault because I mentioned that my last sandwich was too sweet. Please return the sweetness to how it was! If paired with the ham I was served, it would taste amazing! This is the first Jason's Deli I've been to and it was great. The restaurant was really clean and had plenty of seating and has a nice looking salad bar. The sandwich I got (Panini) was good, but the one the other members of my group got looked better (Club, I believe). Bathroom's also very clean and customer service was also really good. Stopped here on a road trip to Houston and plan on stopping there again on my way back. This is a great place to eat if you want healthier options. read more
