It pains me to get at Chick-fil-A two stars, this was definitely not Best experience I've had at a Chick-fil-A. I will say this however the wait time was very minimal. The team member that took my order in the drive-through was very friendly and prompt. When I got to the window they quickly gave me most of my food. After moment another team member must have noticed I was wondering about the remainder of my order when she mentioned they were waiting for bagels. I appreciated her letting me know and she was pretty friendly, but not over-the-top nice like they usually are. They asked me to pull forward and wait in the front of the store which I had no problem with. When I got my food, the quality that typically comes with the Chick-fil-A brand was not there. My bagel was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting for a while, it was cold and tough. You made me wonder why I waited for bagels when this clearly was not fresh. The tater tot's tasting very old as well :( Like I said, this is not my typical A+ experience that I usually have at Chick-fil-A restaurants, so maybe there was other factors at play. Maybe they had a very busy morning since school just started and they were still recovering from the rush...

They only filled this half way...really????

Their soooooo slow compared to other Chick-fil-A's and if there was a better one closer I'd go, their still better than other Fast Food places, but not anywhere near the standards of Chick-fil-A. Service is subpar. Food is just okay, although they short me on fries and chicken salad often.

Didn't go through the drive thru so I can't say whether or not it was any faster.

(Mrs Chick, if you're listening!!) So many different chicken salad options to chicken choose from and I was a bit overwhelmed, but decided I liked the name of the Fancy Nancy the best so I got that. Yummy! Also tried the one with bacon and ranch that I do NOT remember the name of and that one was good too. Sure the croissants were a little floppy and not incredibly fresh, and is it the BEST chicken salad I've had? Surely not. But one can only stop and marvel at the fast-casual innovation that is Chicken Salad Chick.

I struggled to find parking as it's very limited given the high traffic and when I found parking I walked in. I ordered the two scoop chicken salad meal. One scoop was the Olivia chicken salad which is the Southern chicken salad made with eggs and sweet pickles. The other chicken salad was the fancy Nancy which comes with chopped up apples and seedless grapes and pecans. I preferred the Olivia although I was told the fancy Nancy is the most popular. I paid $9.99 for my meal and with tax it came to $10.25. The restaurant stayed busy during my entire wait with a line and people walking in. The restaurant is well lit with soft calming colors and it has a very nice laid back (although busy) feel to it. The meal was very good. I loved that they added a little butter cookie. I will return.

The Brookie is not only HUGE, but it's just so amazing. I can't even describe it. 1000/10 must have. The Ribeye is my go to. It's huge and absolutely flavorful and exquisite. The fries were crisp and salted perfectly. I absolutely love this place, and have never had an issue or unpleasant experience.

My delicious cocktail. Their take on a whiskey sour is incredible. Definitely get a Township Sour! The crawfish fondue was a bit grainy. Not near as smooth as it has been in the past. The hand cut fries are always top tier though. I had the house salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp were smaller than I expected. Flavor was ok. They were cooked appropriately but small. I opted to sub the dressing for their ranch. It was a good house made dressing. Mike and the other guy with us got the ribeye, Pittsburg, medium rare. Mike forgot to ask for the sauce to be on the sauce rather than covering the steak and fries. It's not that the sauce is bad but a good steak doesn't need to be covered in sauce. The downside to this is that they put the steak on top of those incredible house cut fries and between that and the sauce you end up with a soggy bed of french fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. His wife got the filet with a house salad. She said it was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Let me take a moment to say that their floors have some weird waxy feel and it's like ice skating. Our friend fell and everyone at surrounding tables commented how they had been slip sliding around. Dessert at Lou's has never disappointing. Their pecan pie is one of the best ever. The blueberry cobbler is amazing. I have never eaten a dessert there that was not phenomenal. Hannah also made me a fresh cup of decaf and it was such a good cup of coffee. Hannah was an excellent server and the host was quite friendly. We aren't fans of the booth bench seating where you feel like you're eating with the people next to you. The tables on the wall benches seem closer in this location. We will go back and try it again but I will go with my usual redfish #1 and see if it is still as incredible as it has been before.
