Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon as the Mississippi heat started to kick back in. I had never tried frozen custard before, so I figured this was the perfect chance to give it a shot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a sweet young lady named Holly. She was incredibly friendly, walked me through all the options, and really knew the menu inside and out. We decided on a large order of loaded fries (no bacon) which had queso and green onions. He didn't like how big the onion was chopped but it didn't brother me one bit. I went with the original friend chicken sandwich for my first visit since I wanted to try the various sauces. I was surprised they don't do combos, as I love house cut fries but I ordered the fries and drink anyway. Total was $15 and some change! I remember being asked if I wanted seasoning on my fries and I said no. I didn't know this meant I got zero salt on them too. They were ok but I can only imagine how much more I would have liked them if I had opted for salt. Lesson learned. Pretty Good. On the level with Canes and Slim Chicken. The fries are on point. There's only so much you can do for a chicken samich'! It's good enough. The experience reminds me of Five Guys or BurgerFi, but you're just getting a variety of chicken. No doubt, it's tasty chicken, but I'm not gonna way postage telling my friends about it. I'll go back, for sure, but I've got to be tired of everything else out there, and can't make to my next Ranen spot, without teetling over from hunger. Tried this place today- they have a sauce area so you can get what you want. I love that! The ranch is really good! The Nashville hot is HOT and has a big ole kick at the end. The signature sauce tastes a lot like chick-fil- a sauce. The Korean barbecue is good and is heavy on the sesame oil which I loved. I had the Asian sesame salad and the hubby had the simple sandwich with fries. The salad was huge and in my opinion big enough to share. The dressing was all throughout and on top of the chicken. Upon arrival I was told that they were out of queso for the fries so they dumped the fries in a bag and handed them to me. I asked them to simply cancel the fry order and they said they could "deduct the cost of the cheese". Finally I got them to simply refund the money. As far as the salads. They were average. The chicken on them was good, but ALOT of brown lettuce had to be picked out. Also, they provided one small dressing for each salad, which wasn't enough. OK salads but nothing to brag about. The key though is to download the Super Chix app which is super-user friendly and allows you to pick up ASAP or schedule a time for pick up. It's not a traditional drive-thru with a broken mic/speaker so your order goes directly to the food prep line without another human interpreting your order. Brilliant! As soon as I finished my meal I started plotting my return. This is more for the owner's sake but I noticed while I was parked outside ordering on the app that the manager was out there picking up small pieces of trash in the parking lot. You know you'll have good service when you see leadership rolling up their sleeves. Keep up the great work.
