I am not entirely sure why I feel compelled to write a Chick-Fil-A, but here we go. Can I just say that this was one of the best Chick-Fil-A's that I have been to in terms of fulfilling the goal of: "To have a positive influence on those who come in contact with Chick-Fil-A?" These people all seemed to really care about each other and the customers that came in. Lots of regulars here, and the staff all showed interest in what was going on in their lives. My cashier showed a lot of kindness to this road-weary traveler, none of which I probably deserved, and made sure that my day had a little positivity in it. -1 stars because they need to figure out the aforementioned parking lot and waffle fries issues. read more

I ate at this Chick-fil-A three times while I was in Lumberton. Everytime my food was consistently good and the service was way above average for a fast food restaurant. My first meal was a dinner. I had the Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, a bowl of the "Hearty Breast of Chicken Soup" and a soda. I'm a huge fan of their spicy chicken! All was good as usual. For my 2nd meal, I went for breakfast and I had the spicy chicken biscuit, hash browns, orange juice and a coffee. I'm pretty sure the spicy chicken biscuit is the best item on their menu (lunch or dinner). The coffee was just 'ok'. Later in the week, I went back for breakfast and had the Chick-n-minis,hash browns, an orange juice, and a coffee. The Chick-n-minis are the 2nd best item on their menu in my opinion. Unfortunately I went through the drive thru all three times, so I can't comment on the inside. read more

I have always liked chic-fil-a, but the taste is off for some reason at this one. Gave it two tries, disappointed both times. Drink tastes strange, sandwich did too, and fries weren't even close to done - were mushy and floppy, nowhere near crisp. Returned over a year later, and now it tastes good. Go a lot now. read more

This CFA was amazing!! One of the best, and I have been to a lot of them!! The manager and staff were constantly monitoring the tables and staying on top of what everyone needed! Currently it's 49° outside and they have a young lady name Mia who is without a doubt one of the most polite and thoughtful teenager working at this restaurant. Now the 2 yound teenage ladies working at the pickup window was also very nice and had nothingbutkind words for Mia. Open until 10, we wanted something else but it was closed so settled for chick fila since it was walking distance from the sub shop. Kids working we're nice enough. Out of chick fila sauce...say whaaaat??? I thought my boyfriend was kidding, he was not. He ordered #2 and got the wrong sandwich when he took it back up the kid argued with him & then finally got him the right sandwich. We went for free refills, they had my sugar free lemonade but were all of the sudden out of his sweet tea, so he settled for a Dr P instead. Oh btw they are also out of forks! Never a bad experience to report here. Staff is always super friendly. Even when they are incredibly busy, they make it all flow. A sign of great management no doubt. I have never been told not once that the ice cream machine was broken or that they were out of something. read more

Most Chick-Fil-A parking lots are ridiculous, but this is the most dangerous one I have seen. You have to walk through the drive through line no matter where you park. It's just a matter of time until someone gets hit if they haven't already. It is a mystery to me why they build these parking lots so poorly. read more

I really like this chic fil a! I stop here when I'm traveling between school and home. They get pretty busy but they alway do a good job of being quick and efficient while maintaining good customer service. The restaurant and bathroom area are always very clean. The staff is friendly. It's right off the highway so it's easy to get in and out and back on the road if you're traveling. read more

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Chick-fil-A lately but the one nearest my home is inconveniently located in the food court of a huge mall. So, as I was turnin' and burnin' down the NASCAR race known as I-95 approaching Lumberton NC, the giant CFA sign beckoned. Perfect opportunity for a gas/bathroom/food pit stop. This CFA is right off the interstate on a sliver of land with one of the worst designed parking lots I've ever seen. The building itself is modern, spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Service was quick and the counter girls exuded that Southern hospitality and accent that I enjoy when visiting this region. As I had some distance to cover, I ordered the 4 strips of chicken with waffle fries so I could eat and drive (Safety note: my "co-pilot" dipped the strips and fries and fed them to me!). The strips were "real" (not "pressed") juicy, generous sized, and surprisingly delicious for chain fast food, as were the fries. The proprietary CFA dipping sauce deliciously enhanced the strips and fries. Only critique: the chocolate shake was underwhelming. I would try CFA again in this kind of easy in/out setting. read more

My first experience with Chick-Fil-A. Driving from South Carolina to Mass. Pull in right at noon. Drive-thru is wrapped around building. Go inside...a healthy 20 people in line. Hit the bathroom because we have lots of hours to drive...nice & clean. Come out & now there are 40 people in line, but no cars in drive-thru. Sprint out to our car & it's time to order up. Spicy chicken deluxe with fries & cokes. Wow. Amazing chicken... crunchy, juicy, spicy, tender...topped with jalapeño cheese, lettuce & tomato. Waffle fries were right out of fryer & so good. The older lady (maybe a manager) wouldn't let me get a cup of water. She said I had to pay for a bottle water because it's only 60 cents more. Isn't a cup of water free? Then the girl at the register was saying they don't charge for water. So at that point I'm confused. Then she says well I have to ring up your water separately? Horrible service at least for me. They were very kind and our order was taken quickly soon entering. However while our order was being taken the girl kept having side conversations with her coworkers. It made the order taking process longer and me and my family having to repeat what we said. Then I had to wait in line for the bathroom not because the line was long but two of the stalls were out of toilet paper. While we were in this line my sisters were still waiting on food when there was only 4 orders or so on the screen. We hadn't ordered anything complicated or that wasn't up it was because they were to busy talking to each other. When we got into the car the fry boxes were half full even the larges which we pay extra to have more. The parking situation at this Chick-fil-A is terrible, The location is terrible, it takes 10 minutes to get to it and then it takes 30 minutes to get out of it due to the traffic. My daughter and I stopped in yesterday at noon on our way back to NoVA. The parking lot and drive thru was packed. We headed inside and ordered from a very nice team member. I had the Spicy #3 and my daughter had the 6pc nugget. For my Spicy #3 I asked for extra extra extra pickles and what do I get...4 total pickles. It also seemed like the Spicy #3 was sitting under the warming bin due to the bun being a bit mushed. A bit of a disappointment as I only have chick fila once or twice a year. The fries were a bit on the luke warm side. This Chick fila is right off the interstate so it gets a lot of traffic. I think I may wait till I get to the Roanoke Rapids location heading north on 95 as it is off the beaten path. read more
