When I asked my waitress about the style Wedge salad I was served, she said, "Oh, I'll ask the cook not to cut it up for you," which was confusing. What came back as a replacement was a small piece of iceberg, about the size of a large brownie--not a wedge. Really? The star of the show, however, was the sample of lentil soup he gave me. As I was paying for my bill, I said to Ashraf, the owner: "I'll be back next week to buy some beans from you. And if I like your soup, I'll buy that too. Trust me." "I do trust you," Ashraf said. "And I trust my soup. You'll be back" He was right. I tried the soup that afternoon.
