UPDATE (6/4/2025): This is an update to my review for this Chik-Fil-A, a review I had done less than a month before I first became an Elite on Yelp and was my 38th review overall. I make this review because there are a few opinions I have had that changed this visit albeit my number of stars given to the place does remain at a 4. Here's the thing. At first I did not like how the place was renovated. I didn't like how I couldn't just come here when I could the Christmas season before last because it was closed down for the changes. But once I came in here tonight, I've found that they have grown on me so to speak. I had found myself at how impressed I was at the organization of the place as a whole. UberEats has a separate they can enter through to pickup deliveries which is something I have not seen in a fast food restaurant before. Also, this is a clean Chik-Fil-A that actually cleans up after itself. This proves that you CAN be a big franchise and keep a well-functioning restaurant without trashing it to oblivion. Chipotle can seriously take some notes here. Where my opinion has lessened a bit is the waffle fries. You can still taste salt on these, but they're unfortunately not as flavorful as I remember. You know how there's a saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? Well, that should have applied to the waffle fries here cause they weren't broke before. But they're still good enough that I can't be too mad at it. Everything else I said in my previous review still stands. And the people working here are friendly, especially for fast food service workers. And yes, I still love coming here after REI trips for a nice treat for dinner. Oh, and don't skip the Dragonfruit Lemonade this summer! It's quite refreshing! read more

I stopped bu Chick fil a im Norwalk on my way in to get a snack to hold me over until dinner I got soda fries and granola yogurt parfaits. Its relatively expensive there and i got to work and they gave me a box of scraps basically. Tiny and broken pieces , end pieces that were not even hot. Haven't been to Chick-fil-A at this location in a while will to take my son on the playground since they were one of the be able to sit and enjoy your meal and let her get it but of course they're just a follower like everyone else and they got rid of it so disappointed. Not sure about some of these bad reviews but my experience was very good. Ordered and meals were brought to our table within minutes. Staff were accommodating, friendly and attentive. This was our first time dining here and thought the restaurant was very clean even the bathroom. Staff stopped by to make sure everything was good. Definitely appreciated the attentiveness for sure. "I know you got a chick on the side Betcha got a chick on the side" (Pointer Sisters) We were driving home from Stamford, got off the highway because the traffic was terrible, and began moving up Route 1 when the early afternoon lunch hunger pangs struck. My first impression of the Norwalk Chick-fil-A was their mega confusing parking lot. Lanes were shut, some lanes were for the drive through, some were for a parking spot, some were one way and some were two way. I felt like a marble in a maze. The young counter guy who took our order (Archer) was terrific- super polite, efficient and a real gentleman. We ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich, a Southwest Salad with Spicy Grilled Chicken ($10.19) and shared a medium Diet Coke (2.59). We grabbed a booth and in a few minutes our food was delivered to our booth. The Southwest Spicy Chicken Salad was very good. It had a lot of sliced chicken, and plenty of fresh crisp lettuce, corn and black beans. What was odd was the very high calorie content of the things it was served with - over 400 calories worth of a Creamy Salsa dressing, tortilla strips and pepita seeds. They kind of defeat the purpose of ordering a salad, don't you think? At the very least I'd have liked the option to swap out the dressing for something a bit more nutritious than the 290 Creamy Salsa default. Oh well, I skipped all three of the add ons and the salad still had plenty of flavor from the spicy chicken slices. read more

I think the operator's name is Archer or Archie. Anyway, he runs this place so well!! It's always clean and the food is great. In the past I have had maybe 1 or 2 complaints, filled out one of those "compliment/complaint" papers by the exit and immediately got a response and saw a change. The workers are friendly enough. I love when I get a random reward via email. I also love that they moved the drive through, so much more efficient. read more

Steer clear unless you enjoy food poisoning! I had a reward for a free 5pc nugget so I got that, a spicy sandwich and a Mac and cheese. Within literally 20 minutes of finishing the food I was extremely nauseated and proceeded to get violently ill. Once I got the bad food out of my stomach I felt fine. Who doesn't love Chick-fil-A. I sure do. Whenever I'm around here I grab food from here. The line is always horrendously long but I will say they do a good job of moving it. Expect to wait, 30 min minimum. There's always someone out front separating the mobile orders line from the regular line. Even someone directing mobile order vehicles into spots. My mobile orders come out quickly with respect to the number of cars there (not 2 min after but certainly not 45 min either). This last time they forgot to give me utensils. It was easy enough to flag someone down and they quickly brought me some so I could go. Also they are not stingy with sauce packets. Oh and all employees were wearing mask and I didn't see any just hanging around. read more

This isn't a Chick-fil-a, it's something else. Due to dietary restrictions, I ordered a sandwich without a bun. Even though I stated as such, a staff member still asked me about what type of bun I wanted. When the order came back, the sandwich had a bun! Asked the staffer who brought me the sandwich to bring it back and replace it with one without a bun. The new sandwich came back ... with lettuce, but the meat was cold to the touch. A "store manager" came back with the below-quality sandwich and said he couldn't do a thing about it, even though I wanted a replacement. We argued. Finally took the sandwich back to the kitchen and got a hot replacement via another supervisor. This location's staff seems to have a low command of the English language, and of printed preparation directions. The location's staff and management are rude. I was not offered a receipt. The location is filthy, bland and un-inviting. The location should take heed of standard customer service, as practiced by many leading companies. For example: "Rule 1: The customer is always right. It was time for a trip to Chick-fil-A during this kick down. First it is refreshing to be out of the house for an hour, even though you are confined within the cabin of the truck. Second, you need a chance after you had home cooking for a while and the other local options take out has to offer. Thirdly, some people in your inner-circle are not allowed, or too afraid to get take out, so we are more than willing to do them a favor. Pick up and delivery at the same time. The order was easily placed on the Chick-fil-A app, very user friendly! Multiple spicy chicken deluxe, fries, a milkshake, sweet teas, & sauces. At the location cars are lined up, workers are like experienced mega-church parking lot attendants coordinating the flow of vehicles. One line drive thru, one line grub hub and curb side. Parking at curbside there is a cone with a number, this number you enter into the app, and your order is prepared. When the order is ready, it will give you a notification that workers will deliver your items. You receive your food, and off you go, and simultaneously you earned points, you can trade in for food in a later date. Making the drive back, with a delicious strawberry milkshake, that was amazing, next time I get the LARGE. This Chick-fil-A is the perfect example of how industry has no regard for the population's health. I asked for waffle fries with no salt and the guy at the drive thru said it's "against the store policy to make waffle fries without salt." I've been to Chick-fil-A ALL over the country and I always get waffle fries without salt. Even Five Guys will get thAt for you. So glad I skipped I didn't buy anything here and went to the Chick-fil-A in Danbury at the mall, where they were more than happy to get me my order in a record 2 minutes, apologizing for not being fast enough. I rarely leave 1 start reviews but this is the type of thing that is inexcusable. read more

The staff in Norwalk have a rude attitude problem. It is still a Chick Fil A with the same delicious food you like, but the service is nowhere near to standards as other locations. A lot of the workers seem like they don't care and often don't give their signature "my pleasure," to you. It's a silly thing to give a one star over, but when a brand is known for their customer service and a location is lacking that, it's very noticeable. Enfield, Wallingford, and Hartford locations do not have this problem. read more

The food is good and the location is very easy to get to. The way they have the parking lot and lines to get to the drive through isn't bad either. I ordered my food on the app and parked but in like 5 minutes it was done. The fries were a little salty but the chicken deluxe sandwich was on point. I don't like the card board straws but it's environmentally smart so it's a plus for the planet. I love the chicken but this location was not the nicest. I felt like I was at a mc Donald's. Also the one on north haven felt homier and there sandwich seemed larger. The cheese wasn't even melted just thrown pn top. I'll still be a customer but probably not at this location again. read more

5 stars for food of course but its crazy busy and the connecticut residents behave like mom never taught them manners. These patrons are disgusting the way they act and carry themselves. Parking lot is a disaster which exacerbates the issue with CT drivers not knowing how to properly operate a motor vehicle. Restaurant staff is A+. It's so disappointing how terrible customer service is, especially at a place that is owned by Mormons. You think you could expect a little more, however I just got off the phone with their manager JD and hopefully this makes better sense to him since he clearly couldn't understand over the phone. I purchased 2 meals with fries and took the order home, when I got home I set my meals on a plate and poured my fries over my food and while I was eating I pulled out a disgusting long brown hair out of it. He argued with me that they don't have anyone who works their with brown or blonde hair and kept hanging up and stating repeatedly how he didn't understand what I meant. He was also extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife and tried belittling her over the phone which I stepped and was obviously upset. He simply referred me to speak to corporate and wouldn't take any accountability for the lack of cleanliness from their team or the way he spoke to my wife. I hope his manager sees this and I would be more than happy to share this experience in further detail. So HAPPY to see Chick-fil-A in Connecticut! I'm from Raleigh NC and moving back to Connecticut after living in the south for 10 years and The problem is I'm kinda addicted to there sandwiches ! Andrez is a great young man in Training who took my order and I can tell he is going to do great at his new job! I asked him have you ever mixed Chick-fil-A sauce and BBQ sauce together he said no! Worst restaurant ever...I've been here twice and both times they didn't give me my complete order. This food isn't cheap. I pay my money, so I deserve my food. Second time around. Sat inside this time. The cashier and food runners were very nice. The food is a higher quality than most other fast food restaurants. The chicken isn't a patty, and you pay for that upgrade. We had the deluxe chicken sandwich and 8 piece chicken nuggets with waffle fries. When I got in line I was afraid it was going to take forever... but truth is 6 minutes tops! After you put your order in it's smooth sailing from there. Great CS to great food. Polynesian sauce with nuggets never disappoints!! I personally have never had them get my order wrong or any issues with CS. They're always super friendly. We have been very curious to try this place ever since it opened, but the lines have always been crazy so we would pass. Finally came at a time when the drive-thru lines were relatively short but the wait still took 25 mins - pretty crazy... Not sure if it would have been faster if we walked in. This place is my fave fast food. Not only is their chicken amazing and fresh the quality of food and service you receive whether dine in or take out is above average. I visit this restaurant often and every time I have received amazing service. The only down side here is that the horrible lines have not subsided I almost feel like they are getting worse. The staff does great job moving people in and out fast but when the line wraps around the door or traffic stays in the turn lane it isn't worth for me. They also offer a very nice inside PlayStation for kiddos to jump play and slide. They take credit cards and do have tons of parking (but sometimes is not enough). The food is amazing from chicken sandwiches to tenders and nuggets it's always full of flavor and moist. The waffle cut fries are amazing and crispy and the fresh lemonade is "real". I have never had any of the shakes or ice cream but it looks great! Be sure to sign up for their app and earn points towards rewards. read more

Hands down the best fast food chicken sandwich. I know some people have very passionate opinions when it comes to chicken sandwiches, but in my opinion it's chick-fil-a and then everyone else. It's usually mobbed around lunch time and dinner time, but the line inside and the drive-thru are usually pretty quick. Only complaint is that they feel like they are price gouging a bit. I understand that inflation raises the bottom line, but the price hikes seem to have far outpaced inflation. read more

I don't understand , awful. Plain awful. They are untrained and completely a mess. My sandwiches had wilted soggy old lettuce. They dumped the salt on every single fry order to a point we were scraping off the salt cubes with our knives (at home) the chicken nuggets were fried batter and the drinks were overfilled and busted in my car.
