Not sure about some of these bad reviews but my experience was very good. Ordered and meals were brought to our table within minutes. Staff were accommodating, friendly and attentive. This was our first time dining here and thought the restaurant was very clean even the bathroom. Staff stopped by to make sure everything was good. Definitely appreciated the attentiveness for sure. Food was delicious too. We definitely recommend and will return.

60 calorie packet of tortilla strips for a salad

"I know you got a chick on the side Betcha got a chick on the side" (Pointer Sisters) We were driving home from Stamford, got off the highway because the traffic was terrible, and began moving up Route 1 when the early afternoon lunch hunger pangs struck. My first impression of the Norwalk Chick-fil-A was their mega confusing parking lot. Lanes were shut, some lanes were for the drive through, some were for a parking spot, some were one way and some were two way. I felt like a marble in a maze. The young counter guy who took our order (Archer) was terrific- super polite, efficient and a real gentleman. We ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich, a Southwest Salad with Spicy Grilled Chicken ($10.19) and shared a medium Diet Coke (2.59). We grabbed a booth and in a few minutes our food was delivered to our booth. The Southwest Spicy Chicken Salad was very good. It had a lot of sliced chicken, and plenty of fresh crisp lettuce, corn and black beans. What was odd was the very high calorie content of the things it was served with - over 400 calories worth of a Creamy Salsa dressing, tortilla strips and pepita seeds. They kind of defeat the purpose of ordering a salad, don't you think? At the very least I'd have liked the option to swap out the dressing for something a bit more nutritious than the 290 Creamy Salsa default. Oh well, I skipped all three of the add ons and the salad still had plenty of flavor from the spicy chicken slices.

That line of cars to the left.....chick fil a line

Who doesn't love Chick-fil-A. I sure do. Whenever I'm around here I grab food from here. The line is always horrendously long but I will say they do a good job of moving it. Expect to wait, 30 min minimum. There's always someone out front separating the mobile orders line from the regular line. Even someone directing mobile order vehicles into spots. My mobile orders come out quickly with respect to the number of cars there (not 2 min after but certainly not 45 min either). This last time they forgot to give me utensils. It was easy enough to flag someone down and they quickly brought me some so I could go. Also they are not stingy with sauce packets. Oh and all employees were wearing mask and I didn't see any just hanging around.

    Curbside...

It was time for a trip to Chick-fil-A during this kick down. First it is refreshing to be out of the house for an hour, even though you are confined within the cabin of the truck. Second, you need a chance after you had home cooking for a while and the other local options take out has to offer. Thirdly, some people in your inner-circle are not allowed, or too afraid to get take out, so we are more than willing to do them a favor. Pick up and delivery at the same time. The order was easily placed on the Chick-fil-A app, very user friendly! Multiple spicy chicken deluxe, fries, a milkshake, sweet teas, & sauces. At the location cars are lined up, workers are like experienced mega-church parking lot attendants coordinating the flow of vehicles. One line drive thru, one line grub hub and curb side. Parking at curbside there is a cone with a number, this number you enter into the app, and your order is prepared. When the order is ready, it will give you a notification that workers will deliver your items. You receive your food, and off you go, and simultaneously you earned points, you can trade in for food in a later date. Making the drive back, with a delicious strawberry milkshake, that was amazing, next time I get the LARGE. A quick stop to deliver one Spicy chicken deluxe meal, and then home, to enjoy the good stuff! Chick-fil-A you're doing a HEAVEN of a job! *food pictures not included, sorry, no time!

The food is good and the location is very easy to get to. The way they have the parking lot and lines to get to the drive through isn't bad either. I ordered my food on the app and parked but in like 5 minutes it was done. The fries were a little salty but the chicken deluxe sandwich was on point. I don't like the card board straws but it's environmentally smart so it's a plus for the planet. I've been here a couple of times and this was the first time the fries were salty but still good.

I'm not a big fast food fan BUT Chick-Gil-A hot chicken sandwich is solid AF. Service is way better than most normal fast food joints as well.

You miss when menus were lists that described the dishes to be served- and not failed lessons in Freshman expository writing requiring Berlitz to translate (the ancestor to DuoLingo). And, if you dared to dream, you hoped for reasonably-priced food that exceeded what your sainted Aunty Margaret could have conjured in the finest kitchen. If you're nodding in agreement, then why aren't you dining at Paparazzi in Darien? On a Thursday night, my wife and I stumbled upon an unassuming restaurant at the start of the Post Road in Darien. The Amazon- acquired "Open" sign did not portend the extraordinary restaurant experience that awaited us. Each piece in our eggplant tower appetizer was meticulously fried to achieve the perfect balance of crispy exterior and succulent eggplant lurking below. The sauce paired the robustness of the tomato with a Spring-like freshness (which, if Vivaldi had ever tried, he would have stopped his legendary composition after that one season). Knowing that lightning dares not strike twice, I anticipated that the Chicken Sophia Loren (which paired Fontina cheese and spinach) would be better than passable but hardly as tasty as the eggplant. But, like a bolt out of the blue, Paparazzi brought forth not a humble version of a chicken francaise but a dish which sparkled with the appeal of the actual Sophia Loren. The wine and butter sauce (and its subtle hint of lemon) provided the perfect balance creating a cradle which nurtured the succulent chicken cutlets and masterfully tender spinach. Paparazzi, though, does not simply let its fare stand on its own. The engaging and attentive (but not fawning) waitstaff made a great meal a truly memorable dining experience- and the perfect way to celebrate our 15 years of marriage. If you seek Italian food that rises to the level of fine cuisine (without the typical exorbitant price tag), then you owe it to yourself, your taste buds and your wallet to become a Paparazzi regular.

This has happened multiple times where people are waiting and waiting and there seems to be food ready for pick up. Here's a pic of my latest visit. My food- avocado toast is waiting and ready in the white to go box. And the lady is just talking to who looks to be her boss/owner and he's leaning back just talking to her...telling her an in depth story. Meanwhile the guys at the grill are busy making the orders. The person running the cashier is taking orders and this dope is leaning there, telling his story and she's just listening letting the food stack up. I deleted the other pic where there are a ton of orders on that table and they're just talking away....while the food is good, the customer service is poor. I timed 10 minutes where I was waiting for my food- and half of which was because this dude and chick were engrossed in some convo which prevented her from multi-tasking. Shame on him for preventing her from doing her job and not adding value. Shame on her for not excusing him to get the food out to the waiting customers...who by the way, can SEE you and our waiting food!!! The food has to be taken to the counter (as seen in the foreground of the pic)...it's not far. Low score as this happens REPEATEDLY. Step up the customer service and focus on the customer because no one likes $10.00 soggy avocado toast. Btw when not soggy, it's delicious but due to consistent poor service I haven't had non soggy in a while. As I write this, I guess the joke is on me as I keep coming back. Going to find me a new joint with better customer service. PS- when she FINALLY brings the food she brings the latest made food out, and I wait till the end. The other lady and I who were waiting (she's the bag delivery and I'm the white to go order) look at each other with the same thoughts.
