I'm embarrassed to say that I've lived in Ridgefield for years, and also lived in Norwalk, yet I never tried Prime Burger before today. I'm just not much of a fast food person. But with the holiday weekend approaching, and no plans including a cookout, we were craving some festive food. We placed a delivery order including a classic cheeseburger, a lobster roll, and waffle fries. Everything was outstanding! The burger really hit the spot. I rarely eat burgers, but on the occasion I do, sometimes I want fancy pants and sometimes I want classic. Prime Burger was perfect classic American burger with cheese and lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. But you can customize yours how you'd like. The lobster roll was good value for the price. Again, it was not a $38 fancy roll, but for the price, the lobster was generous and delicious in a classic way. The waffle fries were the big surprise for me! I feel like fries always get soggy if they have to spend more than 30 seconds in an enclosed container, so I wasn't expecting much. But they were crispy and delicious, coated in a crunchy batter that remained fresh after delivery. We got a side of Prime sauce for dipping, and while it was good, it wasn't even necessary. We will definitely order from Prime Burger again when the craving hits! read more

They have a delicious brisket, chuck, sirloin combo of meat that allows for maximum flavor without the crazy extra fat. We discovered -- almost by accident -- such an oasis while on a shopping trip in Ridgefield ('Civilization' . . . being from Kent, up north, in Litchfield county, in other words -- the sticks!). I went for the Salmon Burger, my co-adventurer went for the Turkey Burger (a surprise choice, as she gravitates usually to beef). And a Side of Onion Rings. OMG. The Salmon Burger was sublimely delicious; the onion rings a fantasy taste of perfection. I cannot comment on the Turkey Burger because it was gone before I could ask to share a bite. The establishment is sparkling clean. Glowing. Immaculate. Staff cheerfully scrubbing everything in sight. Again, the experience is . . . vibrant . . . energetic . . . lively . . . Youthful . . . . Honestly? Pretty bangin burger and fries. When we stopped in it was pretty empty, and the food took a good 15 minutes to get. But it was super worth it. The Prime burger was tender and flavorful - I got it with blue cheese, jalapeños, lettuce and Prime sauce. Very tasty. The waffle fries were crispy and well seasoned, and I had a dad bite or 2 of my son's grilled cheese and it was crispy and overflowing with cheese. Some nice Christmas tunes playing overhead too. Best, most reasonably-priced burger in Ridgefield. We've had their chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, waffle & regular fries, and any number of their burgers. Where they truly excel in my opinion, aside from everything, is their chocolate milkshakes. Holy cow! Thick, basically just delicious melted ice cream... sign me up! The place can get crowded quickly, lots of kids/strollers/harried moms & nannies so we've gotten take-out more times than we've eaten in and all of the food is just a good after a 20 minute drive home. What's not to love about Prime Burger? First of all, the location right on Main Street. There's good outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating (pre-COVID) and a ton of parking because it shares the parking lot with CVS. So let's talk about the food, I've come here and taken out many times and the food is always fantastic. The quality of the food for the price that you pay is unbeatable. The meat is so fresh and the patties are great quality. My personal favorite is the Steakhouse Burger with several toppings. You can chose one of their concoctions or create your own. I prefer to create my own. All their fries are so crispy and perfectly salted. I cannot recommend this place more. For an easy quick bite Prime Burger is the best spot to go to. One of my favorite burger places in all of Connecticut. The burgers are so juicy that they will fill your mouth with grease. The milkshakes provide the perfect balance between flavor and consistency. I especially love the vanilla milkshakes, and sometimes I dunk my french fires into my milkshake if I am feeling extra devious. However my one grievance is the onion rings. I love when my onion rings are crispy, fried to perfection, where they make me feel like I am getting a foot massage underneath the bright and hot sun. However, the onion rings at Prime Burger are sub-par. These are hardly onion rings, rather they are undercooked onions surrounded by spray-on butter. These onion rings almost completely ruined the meal for me, this atrocity was almost as bad as when my hairy friend Tyler was diagnosed with ligma, (fly high brother ). I've tried to love this place, really I have. I went there last night for a quick takes out and... 1) The waffle fries were soggy. Yes, not crisp, not good tasting, they were wet. $3.99 down the toilet. 2) The burgers are different every time I go here. One thing I can tell you for sure, they tend to use too much salt when they are mixing the burger (the one last night was heavily salted). 3) The wait and general attitude of the cashier/front desk staff varies widely. Yes, I get that they are teenage girls. Yes, I get that there is still a pandemic. But the process for almost every customer in front of me is between 5 and 8 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to pick up food that was sitting and waiting on the shelf behind the cashier. Get better processes. Now, I've been here when the burgers were a solid 5 stars. The fries (no matter what they are, waffle, sweet potato, regular) always suck at this place. They are either over cooked, under cooked or are wet sacks like last night. I've also been here when the girls in front absolutely kill it and handle twenty customers in 10 minutes. Don't care if you are making shakes, again, process is everything. I've been here when they lost my to-go order outright. There is potential. The raw materials are good, the restaurant has solid indoor and outdoor seating. All of the staffers are very nice at the register and do keep the restaurant clean but the processes for getting customers in and out quickly is shoddy. Do better, get a better score. Attended a company event in Ridgefield on a Thursday evening and needed a quick, fulfilling bite. I was craving a big slob of meat with ketchup and found Prime Burger on Yelp. There is a parking lot before both entrances of the establishment, which is situated in a plaza next to a Toy shop, so don't worry about not finding a parking space. We walked in to find that Prime Burger appears to be a fast food type joint. You place your order at the counter and they hand you a number for your table, for which the server will use to locate you and deliver your food. I ordered the Prime burger with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and caramelized onions (note: toppings are unlimited!) and some sweet potato fries. The burger and fries arrived in 10-15 minutes. When I saw the burger, I thought: hmmm... quite small. It's either I am fat, spoiled by thick burgers, or it is small! On a good note, it was a pretty tasty burger. The beef wasn't overcooked and ingredients were quite fresh. Moreover, the sweet potato fries were sweet (duh) and fried to my liking. I would return despite the size of the burger, since toppings are unlimited :) and prices are affordable. read more
