This location has forgot items in our order multiple times, and when I call all they have is a sorry. I've had to drive back to get missing items, which is very inconvenient. They just take the complaint and pass it along but nothing is ever refunded. You wasted my time and all you want to do is say I'm sorry. Time is money!! read more

Horrible customer service at the Chick fil A in Oswego IL. Placed a breakfast order at 10:15 & paid. Got to the restaurant at 10:35 and was told my $50 order was cancelled and I had to wait 5-7 days for a refund. I was not aware that my order would not even be Acknowledged until I arrived at the restaurant. This order was placed for a morning graduation I was attending and promised to bring food to, and the request was Chick Fil A. I was then told they stopped serving breakfast 5 MINUTES ago and they could not make me breakfast food. 5 MINUTES! This is unacceptable customer service and will not order from this restaurant again nor recommend it to others. They didn't even try to accommodate this situation in any way and basically said sorry you were late so there is nothing we can do for you. Again, 5 MINUTES on a $50 order! This policy is unacceptable and outrageous and should be reconsidered by this restaurant. Awful! I would not pride this company on customer service at all. This wasn't a $10 order, instead, $50. Shameful! It's unfortunate that I was obligated to even give a 1 Star in order to proceed with my review. I would give this a 0 Star. read more

The food and the service is bad here. I usually give in and keep going back. The workers have forgotten my food on so many occasions. Not only that they mix up peoples food constantly. The last time my husband went he ordered me a Mac n cheese with my sandwich. They forgot it and he waited 15 mins to get it. Now all the food is cold. Then the Macaroni was so watery it looked like old country buffet macaroni and cheese (if you know you know). I'm kind of exhausted of all the mistakes and then not being made whole again. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either. It was "some stuff to eat". The quality of the ingredients was fine, The chix filet was substantial. I've not been a patron of CFA 'cos I'm not a fan of chicken breast in any form. Their Lemonade is very good, and the waffle potatoes are edible if they are hot. Take them a mile away in the car, and they get bland and mushy, I went to CFA because of the "Honey Pepper Pimento" thing they have been clogging the airwaves with. Not much pimento, honey or pepper on the sarnie. Not much flavor to the whole thing. Oh well...nothing ventured, nothing gained A long double line of cars, but it moved real fast. The staff is always cheerful, maybe too much. I was expecting them to leap into an "Up-With-People" flashmob thing, or perhaps a religious pamphlet tucked beneath the sandwiches. I'm not going to file this in my "Food for people who dont like to eat" folder, but it's very close. I've tried CFA a number of times in different locations--it's all the same: dull. This may be my distinct aversion to chicken breast speaking. Check that, it IS my aversion at play here. This may be the apotheosis of Chicken Breast for many, but if you read my yelps about Raising Canes and Pilot Pete's, you'll see CFA doesnt rise to that level for me. Theories often have corollaries. NASTY!!! Went to Oswego chick fil a a couple days ago and my nuggets were filled with nothing but fat and goop. Makes me worried they don't even use real chicken because I'm not sure how this could happen and it wasn't just one nugget. The person taking my order was audibly intoxicated. She had slurred and slowed speech, had trouble comprehending my order, and entered the wrong number of Chick-fil-A sauces (8 instead of 10). When I mentioned to the cashier that the person who took my order was audibly intoxicated, she laughed at me and said 'I don't know what to tell you' and then proceeded to ignore me after handing back my card and my receipt. After a couple of minutes I was then asked by a different employee to pull forward and wait longer for my order. A few minutes later a third employee walked out with my order, handed it to me, and then immediately walked away. When I arrived home to check the contents of the bag containing my order, I had only received 6 Chick-fil-A sauces instead of the 8 incorrectly listed on my receipt by the audibly intoxicated drive-through order taker. Incorrect sauces aside, the bigger issue is the absolute lack of professionalism and respect towards the customer. Laughing in someone's face about a very serious issue is beyond disrespectful. The audibly intoxicated employee either drove to work under the influence, or they started drinking after arriving at work. Regardless, gross negligence occurred by the entire staff to allow this employee to represent the company and ignore/laugh at the customer when made aware of the issue. Normally I have no issues with this location and have frequented this location and will continue to do so in the future, but the lack of professionalism and respect shown today was surprising to say the least. read more

While I am waiting for CFA to offer or "Beyond Meat" option to their sandwich menu, I will continue to enjoy their macaroni and cheese , their waffle fries with 1 buffalo sauce and 2 ranch sauces, a buttered biscuit with honey in the morning or a chocolate brownie. Now I must admit I was disappointed with the chocolate chunk cookie bc I tasted oatmeal when I bit into it. I think they should consider renaming it to oatmeal chocolate chunk cookie. How can restaurants get customer service so right and others sooo horrible wrong? Chick-fil-a service is consistently TOP NOTCH and this location is the best at it! I applaud the companies training and location managements dedication to providing excellence to every customer ever time and wish other places would be even partially to their level. Okay first time stopping in and what can I say...... For starters I have worked in retail management for over a decade and wish I would've had employees like these working with me. Kayden took our order was polite, quick and efficient, and Genuine. Jillian brought out our food was so sweet and polite, offered to clear off anything we were done with and grabbed me a refill ending every interaction with "My pleasure". I don't know where this manager found these employees but they are so friendly and sincere in their interactions with customers I am beyond impressed! On 3 separate occasions we have had to go back to the restaurant with something not right or missing and all we got was a "oh sorry" not to mention we had to wait in the already long line again. We walked in, wasn't too busy, used the washroom which was clean. The gentleman that took our order was plenty friendly. Fries were fresh and tasty, thank you. Now let's talk about the issue we had here. The toddler play area for 3 and under which only myself and one other parent followed the age restrictions. At one point a mother decided to drop her 4 kids off like a daycare and they were all well over 3 years old. The issue with them was they were running all over, screaming, and pushing/hitting my 3 year old child out of the way telling him to move. After I seen one of the kids hit my child I told him to stop, that my son is 3 and not 5 like him. I immediately removed my child from the TODDLER area in fear he would get hit again. Chick-fill-a please KEEP A BETTER EYE OUT in this area, I'm glad I was there to protect my child cause it could have been worse with 4 kids against 1. Thanks!! I went to thic chick fil A only to find out that they don't take cash in the drive thru. " My pleaure!!!! " This is the last place that you would expect to give you bad service and change the rules at the drop of the hat. I only wanted one drink and was told that I had to leave the drive thru and go in to pay with cash. WHY use the drive thru and have to go in for this foolishness. You need a walk out drive thru to help in situations like this. I would have had to get out of my car and walk around to the other side of the restaurant to get back in!!!! I guess you guys only value plastic and not cash! and to know that this restuarant it always busy you should have looked at your traffic before deciding to cut cash from drive thru lines. While ordering my dinner I requested multiple times to have avocado lime ranch to accompany my chicken sandwich. When getting to the window I asked if they had the ranch they replied with yes and then I continued to check my bag to see I was missing several items. I then requested to get my food that missing and requested again after asking multiple times to receive avocado lime ranch. I ended up giving up and going home without it. read more

Let me start of with saying, I love Chick-Fil-A. We eat out once a month & we always want to get a chicken sandwich, fries, and lemonade. The food is good, they have polite workers, but this location has screwed up my orders 3 out of the last 4 times that I have been there. It's annoying because each time my order is off and my boyfriends order is perfect. I hate going to places and saying to myself "let me check to make sure my order right" right after they hand it to me. I don't appreciate the feeling of having to check to make sure workers completed the order correctly right after they hand it to me...I haven't experienced this at any other location, but it's unfortunate because this is the closest one. read more

I have been coming to this location for quite some time. However, my 2 recent visits, the food size and quantity has become increasingly inconsistent. It seems as if the chicken breast sizes for the sandwiches have shrunk as well as the quantity of waffle fries. This is sad to see as Chick Fil A has always been one of my favorite places to eat. Ok I'm not one to typically complain but seriously guys your curbside pickup sucks.. how hard is it to get two drinks. I'm only reviewing because this is the third time this has happened! Once is understandable and twice is pushing it. I shouldn't need to go in and ask for my drinks especially when they are sitting on the counter and no one is doing their job to bring it out. I liked going back and back to Chick-fil-a each time I had time, especially at this location. But not until recently, when I had probably the worst experience I've had at this location of Chick-fil-a. I went to the drive-thru and I was really glad that time since the line was not long, meaning I would be able to get food quickly. So, I was talking to the staff, but I do not know why, unlike the other staff who are friendly and polite, the particular staff I talked to on that particular day was rude, and he did not greet me or anything, and I just proceeded to tell him my orders. I was about to be okay with it. I asked for 10 pieces of chicken McNuggets and the chicken McNuggets that were given to me were only 6. Not only that, because the sauce that was given to me was only 2 pieces with the same flavor. Although the chicken McNuggets are hot and delicious, including the fries that I also got, I just cannot skip the fact that they really messed up with that one. I would still go back, but definitely not sooner and not anytime soon either. read more

The chicken here is top notch for a fast food joint, but its not like I would go out of my way to come here. If in a mood for chicken, would choose this over McD, but Wendy's does a pretty decent job with their chx sandwiches as well. The shakes are decent and their fries are a nice change from all other chains. There are plenty of condiments to help yourself and unlike in McD's no one will give you the evil eye if you ask for some bbq sauce,etc. Having wet naps available is a nice touch as well. As far as overall Corp policies, like closing on Sun and supporting questionable causes, I am not a big fan, but its a free country. read more

Top notch in service, food quality & taste! I'm fairly new to the menu, but have decided the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is the absolute best! I usually use the drive thru. The service is BAR-NONE! They have to be the friendliest servers I've ever encountered. On a recent visit I discovered my order was incorrect when I made it home. I called & the manager was on it. He apologized and offered a free sandwich to make up for the error. All the while, he was very professional not placing blame. Well, after I ended the call & really thought about my interaction in the drive thru; I decided to call back & admit perhaps I'd received the wrong sandwich because I called out the wrong combo#1. The staff is so nice. I didn't want someone being blamed if it could hv indeed been my fault. I told the manager a free sandwich was appreciated but was not warranted and I turned it down. He insisted that I get a free sandwich of my choice on my next visit, because he appreciated my 2nd call admitting perhaps the error was mine. I was floored by the courtesy & generosity!
