My daughter was immediately upset and apologetic, even though she had done nothing wrong. To clear up any confusion, she showed us her camera roll. Sure enough, the most recent photo was exactly what she said it was: a selfie of her and her brother. What bothered me wasn't the misunderstanding itself. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was learning that employees had been discussing the situation among themselves and speaking about my daughter before anyone bothered to simply ask what was going on. My daughter ended up in tears because she realized the looks and conversations she'd noticed throughout the restaurant were connected to this misunderstanding. No child deserves to feel embarrassed or singled out over something that could have been resolved with a simple conversation. I want to give credit where it's due: the manager handled the situation with kindness and professionalism, and the food remains some of my favorite around. But the way this situation was handled left a sour taste that no amount of great wings could fix. I've always loved coming here, which makes writing this review disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience, my family and I will not be returning.
