What the heck!! Drive threw order Avacado Lime ranch wrap....where us the chicken? I got home, and this is what I got!!! Seriously? Put it on a paper plate because I thought it was a chicken wrap! Will NEVER again come here. Considering this was my 1st time, it will be my last! Where us the other half of my wrap !! And the macaroni and cheese? What is this? Waste of $, time spent in line and nothing worth eating.

    Mold??
    Timothy ..

Found a small white hard substance in my bread, decided to inspect further and it shriveled into dust. Is this mold??? I don't even want to eat this! WTF CHICK FIL A

Chick-fil-A has to be one of my most favorite fast food restaurants for chicken their services. Awesome. I always use the drive-through. The ambience is very nice. and occasionally my puppy dog gets chicken nuggets.

I'm not sold on their chicken sandwiches but I do love their waffle fries. Their payment system at University Place is weird also.

Missing items, stale food, when you call they apparently don't "have their extension turned on" so you can't reach the local store.

The menu also shows sandwiches, soups and warm bowls. I don't know the area well but surprised they didn't have more people in during the lunch hour. My only negative is they don't seem to realize when customers enter as they are not greeted and can take several minutes before someone comes up front and realizes a customer or food delivery pick up is waiting. Would definitely go back when in the area.

They share parking a few other businesses and it was pretty busy when we got there but we snagged a spot. As we entered, we greeted by the owners who welcomed us and gave us menus to look through. They have a decent sized menu but not too overwhelming and if you don't like the options offered then you can do a create your own which is sweet! My boyfriend got their garden wrap with a garlic and herb tortilla while I got their Washington Apple wrap with a garlic and herb tortilla. There was an order ahead of us but the employees got the orders made in a good amount of time and presentation was a nice touch too. The wraps had a great ratio of all the listed ingredients and you can yaste everything in each bite. The ingredients tasted and looked fresh! The interior is very cozy with plenty of seating that accommodates solo, couples or small groups. They have great lighting in there, both natural and inside. They had some old school RnB playing which was nostalgic for me as I heard a lot of these as a pre-teen. Definitely a fantastic spot, especially if you are trying to eat or be more healthy conscious but still have a flavorful meal!

The food is delicious, and they are very generous with it. Seriously, there isn't anything here that is not scrumptious and I left absolutely stuffed! In addition, the tea selection they have is on point! Including a smokey tea I'd never heard of that was absolutely fabulous. Don't judge this place by the outside - the decor inside is adorable, with lots of unique and fun antique pieces. The staff is extremely attentive, kind, and even fun! We didn't expect it but there was a live pianist, and he was extremely talented (and funny). My BFF and I are a bit of tea snobs; we've been to tea rooms in both England, Kirland, and Seattle; this one by far has been our favorite. I really can't say enough great things about this place. I hope we can return soon, because it might be one of my new favorite (and unique) places in Tacoma! This really made my bridal party so thank you to the entire staff - we had a great experience!

And apparently that closure took place about a month ago. It appears the owners have fully retired and it's something that they really needed to do. I am not sure what event or element came their way to make the decision to close but it was time. The reason why I say this is that I came here fairly frequently for lunch and realized the food became inconsistent in quality. I got a quesadilla once and I could taste mold on the tortilla. I t was a hint and I endured it but it was one of the last times I went back. The owner had health events and issues that made it hard to remember orders if you called over the phone so if you didn't want a particular ingredient or were allergic to something it may have been in there anyway due to that detail being forgotten. It became frustrating for the owner to correct these mistakes. While the health issues were unfolding and prior food items that were previously available like the Korean Pancakes for example became scarce while paying a visit there and eventually not made at all because it was too much work. Again I am not trying to be mean, rude or anything like that but just the observations and transactions I had with them I am recollecting for this update and that getting the time to relax and not stress out over orders can only be a good thing for Penny and her husband. I wish them all the best. Despite having issues with some meals here I had some good ones too and the students that would swing by here to purchase their lunch I'm sure will miss Lucky Penny.
