    Temple salad and fruit salad

Delish! This is definitely going to be a new go to place for us when we're in Tacoma. Hubby got the Evergreen salad-- yum. I got the temple salad--delish! And then we got a fruit salad and cheese/fruit/cracker box. The smoked Gouda was divine! It's so nice to have a healthy option for "fast" food while out and about. Keep up the good work guys!

Came here after church one day. Restaurant is located in a strip mall area. Parking was pretty full when we where there, but was able to park in the same parking lot. We walked in a were greeted by the worker there. He was very friendly. They have options of cold and warm bowls as well as a few smoothies, soups, sandwiches and a few other options. The restaurant has different size tables and booths, it looked like a clean space. The owner was there as well prepping our dishes. My husband got the Taco Bowl and I got the Gourmet Bowl. Our food took a little while to come out (maybe 10-15 mins), but I know that is because it was made fresh. The owner came out and brought us our food and chatted for a minute. Very friendly. It appears they also do catering. Great to have a healthy option in Tacoma.

I am dreaming of this salad. Support this Black-owned, woman-owned business! I don't live in Tacoma, but would once again take the 10 minute driving detour to get a salad from here again. I believe I met the owner while she was training a new hire. Absolutely phenomenal women. Training folks is hard, especially when your salads have so much character. Service was impeccable. Both women were very considerate and helpful with questions I had. The seating area is adorable. I jumped on their WiFi and had a Zoom meeting while munching on this delicious salad. I'm vegetarian, but wasn't craving a veggie sausage this meal. I'm definitely considering adding some to my home salads now. I haven't tried that yet. I usually add an impossible patty or tofu to my salads at home. But I would 100% add anything I would put on a pizza on a salad, and a veggie sausage is one of those options! I'm sad I live so far away. The dressing was very unique. Sweet, but not too sweet. The crunch with the teeny broccoli bits and nuts was perfect. I could go without the mandarin oranges, but that's just because I don't usually like fruit in syrup. Canned pears I can tolerate in syrup. I think the mandarin oranges are from a fruit cup though. No canned taste. Everything else on the salad was fresh, loved for, and perfect. I 100% understand why the mandarin oranges are on the salad. They tie the flavor profile together nicely. The bowls are so cute too! I got the full size salad because all the greens are helpful when your stressed out. And I can say with complete confidence, driving on I-5 stresses me out Thank you for this salad I can't remember the name of... but it is one of the salads on the menu that is already fully vegan!

Finally, a restaurant that specializes in good quality salads!! My wife and I love a good salad and over the last 5 years we've been trying to find a decent place to grab a salad with no luck. I was so excited when my fiancée told me about this place. We ordered lunch via door dash and I was so impressed that I wanted to see what else the establishment offered through their website. From there we placed an order for several meal prep salads where we were able to customize fully to our liking. Pick up was easy to schedule and the meals were ready on time with no issues. Each meal was more delicious that the last and honestly we could not stop eating salads. I highly recommend stopping in, you can't go wrong with any salad on the menu.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, wide array of healthy and indulgent options. Made the 20 minute drive from work to try a salad and will definitely be making the trip again in the future. Highly recommend!

10 out of 10. Honestly one of the best green power bows that packs a punch of vegetables with brown rice and protein. Loved the green goddess dressing added to the salad. It takes some time to get your food and drink. As they are made to order. Went for lunch and was out in 45 min. Weekdays 1pm. Not busy at all. The woman working the counter was everything you want when trying to decide what to eat at a new place. Knowledgeable with a fun personality.

I feel its hard to write a solid review when your only experience is delivery (uber eats). Ill do my best! I ordered the half Evergreen salad with salmon and avocado- lime dressing and my son got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Sorry, didnt get a pic of his but he liked it and my bite was delish too, just a but small to consider it a full meal- not their fault. Its hard to judge these things from a delivery menu. My salad was pretty tasty, although the avocado could have been a little fresher. I wish id gotten the larger size because it is pretty small- more like a side salad but i do like it. Im a little unsure about the salmon- it doesnt seem fresh? It almost seems like it came out of a can? Its not awful...maybe im just not used to seeing it in this form. Anyway, im glad i discovered this place and look forward to trying some more of their menu.

Really good place if you are looking for healthy and fresh food. Salads can be ordered in half or full portions. I got the half Evergreen and it was plenty. Ingredients were very fresh and the salad was delicious. They offer wraps and soup in addition to their salads. Need it gluten free, keto or paleo? They can make it happen. Can't wait to try their other salads.

Ask the Community - Garden's Gourmet Salads

Is this a place you can sit and eat at as well as online or delivery?

Yes! There is a dining area, as well as, takeout and delivery options available.

Do they have a verity of salad supplies?

They have a good variety of salad toppings to choose from. Probably at least 30 items.

Do they have vegan salad dressings? I see a lot of Ranch in the photos.

I think their raspberry vinaigrette and Asian dressing might be.

    Do they have croutons?

I had croutons on the salad I ordered.

I am not typically a carrot cake person because don't like raisins or nuts in my dessert. The flavor was great and the frosting wasn't too sweet. Without a doubt this is one of Tacoma's best dining experiences. Chef Shawn's team is small but mighty. The staff that we encountered were all super kind and attentive. It's widely known that Chef Shawn has a radiant personality and treats everybody in his restaurant like a longtime friend. He walked around chatting with everybody personally, showed off dishes as he walked through the restaurant, and was even happy to let diners take a peek at his kitchen (how does he make all this magic happen on TWO CAMP STOVES?!) The menu isn't massive, but everything on the menu is executed with precision and grace. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted but I've had my eyes on the Lobster Bomb for years. My husband got the "Tiny Burrito" which is quite literally the size of a newborn. The Lobster Bomb was excellent. Generous chunks of succulent lobster and the hollandaise was perfect! Subtle on the lemon flavor as to not overpower, but still rich and creamy. I tried my husband's burrito and the chorizo gravy is stellar. You could easily share this with 1-2 other people in my opinion. It lasted my husband two leftover meals! The restaurant itself is small but it's cozy and feels like you're at home. No frills, nothing over the top, nothing trendy. Just a relaxed vibe with lots of authentic touches from Chef Shawn. While this was our first visit it definitely won't be our last. Don't make the mistake I did and let years pass by before you experience Tibbitts!
