If you need a place just to lay down and lay your head, no frills, and on a budget, I would 100% recommend this place!! I was on a road trip to hike at Mesa Verde before I made a trip to Moab and Arches. The room was clean, the bed I was in had a brand new mattress and it has a nic retro 1980's old school charm. Most importanly, the room was queit and I was able to do some work. Joy was great and responsive. She even called me to invite me for a fresh pot of coffee. This motel has been in Brian's family for years. Today, Joy and Brian manage the property and are curently in the process of making renovations and upgrades. The Wi-Fi can be slightly spotty and I hope this is one area they can invest in. If you are arriving late in your travels, Joy will work with you and make sure you are taken care of. Joy and Brian really do care about your well being.

You can have as much privacy as you would like but we enjoyed visiting with them so much. Harris takes care of this property by himself and does a fantastic job. The Inn is clean and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding! Harris was also helpful in our travel plan at the Mesa Verde given the amount of time we had etc. It's great to have someone help when you are unsure what your best options are. The view of the Mesa Verde and surrounding area is priceless. We will definitely be back for another visit and longer stay!

Owners seemed really friendly at first but I was told to stop using "their bandwidth" when they have multiple guest networks and private networks (which are presumably for the owners!) When we arrived we were pleased with the price but after interacting for a day (most of which we were gone for anyway) decided not to stay longer. The public areas inside all smell of cigarettes and if you want to use the lounge provided (which is still generous of the owners, though soaked in cigarette stink) you'll have to endure the sounds of their four dogs barking and them yelling upstairs.
