We initially came to the area to visit Sutcliffe Vineyards and to explore Canyons of the Ancients, but Kelly Place became the highlight of our trip. Guests can easily access trails to ancient cliff dwellings and a restored kiva, all within the boundaries of the property, which overlaps with Canyons of the Ancients! It was awesome in the true meaning of the word. Few are fortunate enough to have this kind of access to respectfully admire and inspect the remains of an ancient civilization in such a private setting. With Sutcliffe Vineyards only 10 minutes away, and sites of the Canyons of the Ancients on the property, we could not have found a better place to stay. Our suite in the newly renovated main lodge was outstanding. The large room had a comfortable queen bed with quality linen and a fluffy comforter that I loved. The bathroom had a beautifully tiled walk-in shower that was very nice. Magnificent views from our room's windows offered more vistas of the surrounding beauty. The facilities at Ancient Echoes at Kelly Place are fantastic- modern comfort amid ancient history. We stayed in a suite in the main lodge, which was thoughtfully and tastefully restored by owners Celine and Allison. The main area of the lodge offers a kiva-style fireplace, shared meeting space, library and gourmet kitchen all available to guests. The private casitas and suites are perfect for family reunions or a peaceful getaway. We're already planning a return trip! You won't regret giving Celine and Ally a call to schedule your stay as soon as possible. Highly recommend Ancient Echoes at Kelly Pl

We were supposed to have an upstairs room with private bath, but that changed somehow when we arrived. We stayed in the downstairs section, which has several other bedrooms and one shared bathroom and kitchen and living area. Luckily no other guests were staying at that time, so we had it all to ourselves, and it worked out great. Bedrooms and bathroom were extremely clean and neat. Beautiful lot with large patios upstairs and downstairs that are oh-so peaceful!! Spent lots of time talking with Bob, and he was very accommodating and easy-going. I loved having breakfast in their cozy and bright dining area near the kitchen overlooking the mountains and watching numerous hummingbirds come to feed on their upper patio (felt like we were Bob's personal guests). Bob was also so kind to let our dog, LeLa (who is well-behaved) stay in the dining room with us while we had breakfast. We did not see much of Ursula (his wife) as she had to work during the days that we were there, but our brief meeting with her was very pleasant! We highly recommend this place!!!

I arrived after hours and they still answered the phone, already knew my name and had a drop box key thing and I loved the ease of it all. Do with they had more lamps lighting the road for the night arrivals but still found it. Room was just the right temp with ceiling fan. SHOWER!!! AMAZING!!!! Let's just say it's helps get you clean all over. Besides everything else it was one of my fav parts. I'd love to make this "my spot" when I travel through here each time . Didn't take as many pix as I should have , my bad, it's pretty!!

First of all, we are both total germaphobes (even before Covid) and this place was sparkling clean! We never walk barefoot on hotel floors, but we did here. We also sat on the bed covers, and even the sofa, another first. lol. And...we have never seen such a clean coffee pot. We were super impressed and immediately felt right at home. Everything was tastefully decorated and welcoming. The layout of the room was excellent - plenty of space, and lots of light and greenery. We loved the fridge / microwave / sink in the main area, as we had brought most of our food for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of our food and drinks. The shower was large and had three nozzles, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. Towels were fluffy and clean. Again, every detail of this place was well thought out and comfortable. I think the floors might have even been heated, which felt great on our bare feet. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. And the breakfast - wow! With Covid we had a set time for our breakfast which was really nice. And the food was amazing! Homemade yogurt and granola, a warm egg dish, scone, fresh fruit, delicious coffee and teas...we were in heaven. The breakfast room was full of light and plants, and there was also the option to eat on the patio. An added bonus is that the tap water in Bluff is delicious! We brought several gallons of water with us, and didn't even need to use it. Usually we don't bother with ice machines at hotels, but the ice was delicious and we enjoyed having plentiful ice water during the trip. Again, this place is all that - and more! Loved every minute and are already planning a return trip.

Still not able to see the sign, I drove down a long trail to the rustic looking Silver River Inn B & B. I was warmly greeted by the host and escorted to my room. For the three days I was there, I was never asked for proof of Covid vaccination, also didn't see or hear anything about a spa. Breakfast was served to me in my room, Covid precaution. I was very disappointed in breakfast. Coffee and a muffin, that's it. For the prime price that was charged, I thought something more substantial would be served for breakfast. I'm not fond of anything made with goat but that was never a consideration from the host. The room has lots of windows but the river was barely seen. There's an embankment with shrubs and trees that block the view. The small room had 3 doors, was comfortable and well equipped with wifi (don't know how good it is since I used my cellular data), a room heater (kept the room warm in chilly October), fridge, microwave, utensils, 2 plates, 2 bowls, and 2 cups. A small seat was in the room but it was so hard it would be impossible to sit on it for any length of time. There is a private bathroom with full shower & hot water, another small heater, lots of washcloths, a hand towel, shampoo & conditioner, body lotion, a tiny square of soap and ONE bath towel. I felt the need to wear my flip flops in the shower. I received a text and voicemail wanting to know my arrival time. I didn't respond because I was driving. When I could check my phone (upon my arrival) I responded. The host was kind and understanding. I also sent 2 texts to the host during my stay, both unanswered. Everything is organic or as close to organic as possible. That's cool! There's no TV, not even a radio. You have to provide your own entertainment. I was scheduled to check out the following morning but left early due to frustration, boredom, and poor amenities. I will not return to Silver River Adobe Inn B & B. It's not a B&B and It's not worth the money $$$. Read ALL the reviews before booking! All in all, the fee is for nothing more than a place tp sleep. My wallet is screaming, RIP OFF!!!

Couldn't have a better view first thing in the morning! The breakfast was phenomenal, homemade crepes, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, and fruit juice. The one con is that the internet connection is very weak...but for me, it forced me to go unplugged for the day/night so I didn't mind a bit! Definitely worth checking out if you're around Farmington!
