This hidden gem is tucked away, off Pleasant Valley Rd in Amesbury, behind the mill building luxury condos. It's such a fun community here, where everybody is friends and everybody helps each other out. They run a very tight ship here, and everything is always clean and maintained. There's always a dockhand working, to help you out with whatever you need, which I love because I'm not the best at docking! They also have super clean restrooms and showers available. Paula is usually at the desk, and has always been helpful (and fun to chat with). If you are looking for a beautiful, clean spot to keep your boat, with friendly and helpful staff, Hatters Point is the place for you!

The Merrimack River's wide expanse and well-marked channels are easily navigated and offer many opportunities for power boating, sailing, water skiing and tubing. We are located in one of the many scenic vistas of the river, across from the lush grounds of Maudslay State Park.  It's easily accessible by a driveway at the eastern end of the Hatter's Point development, with boarding via a wide gangway. Parking, restrooms, and showers are available, and the site is handicap accessible. We're open from May 15th to October 15th and welcome recreational boats up to 135 feet in length. You'll find teak benches and planters along the main dock. Along with wifi and even a golf cart used to assist guests at their string/slip. Friday happy hour soft drinks , local brews , and something fresh off the grill. If you see staff go running down the dock , thats a sure sign that one of their customers is coming in and staff will be on-hand to catch the lines. This marina caters to Mega Yachts with slips designed specifically for yachts of that size. You cant beat the location , in the heart of the Old Port.

Jon Madge, our sales person, has been exceptionally responsive and has kept all his promises. We have a slip at Spring Point Marina and the staff has been on top of our every need. They are super friendly and helpful. This past Tuesday we hit a floating piece of wood in the harbor. Jon happened by and we told him what happened. By the time I got in to the office to tell Jen, she already had called Marty from Service to look at engine. By Wednesday afternoon I had a call from Marty in Service to say that he had been down to the boat and fixed the problem (very minor issue) and that we were ready to go again! We have been in the water at Spring Point since the first of May. As new boat owners we have had many questions and requests. All the staff is knowledgable and friendly. Could not have selected a better place to buy our boat or to keep it for the season! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this entire team!

Over the summer I was lucky enough to stay at Goodwins Creek Marina on the Merrimack. The views are…read morephenomenal, and the in-ground pool is an added bonus. The marina offers cable and satellite TV, electricity and internet. (Wi-Fi signal pretty good). The residents of the marina are so friendly and often share what they catch. The laundry, showers, and bathrooms are so clean. There's a seasonal restaurant (breakfast and lunch), there's a dingy dock with jet skis, picnic tables, and gas grills for cooking out. The closest grocery store is "Stop and Shop" about 2 miles from the marina which has an electric charging station. The weekend is more crowded during the week, and everyone knows everyone. The marina is pet friendly and offers doggy waste bags however not a lot of grass for the dog. There were lots of parks near the marina for the dog. The fire pit is great and is often fired up on the weekends. Goodwin Creek Marina is a great home away from home.
