With that said, it's very affordable and well-suited to families who have kids in the 3-12 age range. A great spot for locals or if you happen to be with your family in the area. For just under $30, a family can enter the park which has: an outdoor pool, a 20 ft. spiral water slide, a 'lazy river' tube ride, picnic benches (you can bring in outside food), and a kids playground. For another $5 (total), everyone in the family can have access the mini golf course - though its certainly an older run-down one. Finally, there's also a batting cage and it was fairly cheap too. The concession had the standard items such as hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages, along with chips and chocolate bars. Again, quite cheap and nothing was over $3.50. They even grill the food on the BBQ to order. That pretty much describes the place. Fairly simple, but also very affordable and a sure-fire way to enjoy a day with family on a warm summer's day.

It's a good place for kids between 3 - 7 years old to burn off their energy. I wish there was an indoor amusement park like this closer up town in like Richmond Hill or Vaughan. Canada's Wonderland is a great place to be entertained, with all the amusement rides, shows, games,…read moreactivities, food, and more. It's been a little while since I've been here and it was my first time in winter. It was cold! We had dinner at an AYCE buffet that was reserved for staff and their guests. Choices included turkey, breaded chicken, noodles, veggies, nachos, and more. The food was decent but our overall favourite was the squash soup - good flavour and perfect for the cold weather. After dinner, we wandered through the park, taking in some of the attractions. I was surprised to see so many of them open at this time of year, including one of the roller coasters. Huge kudos to the staff who were out in the frigid weather, especially in their costumes, and unheated attractions! Although WE were frozen, guests were having a great time, ice skating, enjoying all the attractions, especially the daily tree lighting show, and the food, even the frozen drinks! We had a great time but I could/should have dressed warmer. Next time...
