This was our first return to Putting Edge since they moved into the Colossus plaza after the huge…read morefacility they had near IKEA/Dave and Buster's. We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

Not the best mini golf experience. Up until about the 15th hole, the course was not very exciting,…read morebesides the glow in the dark decor. The staff were super nice and the price wasn't bad at $16 per person for mini golf. There is an arcade at the entrance that is fun but warning, it's very expensive and the credits are consumed very quickly! We went through $80 worth in about 15 minutes, just waiting for our name to be called, despite that we had a reservation (they tell you to go early, now we know why). The other issue was that they didn't space the groups up enough so we spent a lot of time waiting in line for the next hole, and there's not much room so you feel like you're in the way of the course. We really wanted to like this place, especially for a good rainy day activity. Doubtful that we will be back.

Wow, this place has everything! Bingemans is not just a waterpark, it has mini golf, beach…read morevolleyball, indoor play gym, bowling, arcades, canoeing and campgrounds. As we only visited the waterpark, my review will only be based on what my family experienced. Bingemans is located in Kitchener and is easily accessible from all directions. The waterpark opens at 10am and we got there at 11am and still got premium parking (like the 4th spot from the entrance). The park does allow for one bottled beverage per person and does not allow outside food, but I still snuck in a few granola bars and bear paws. To get to the waterpark, you enter this huge facility that houses the arcade and indoor play gym. As we only had passes to access the waterpark, the 3-story indoor play gym would be an additional $10.95 per child. The arcade is pay as you go. For the waterpark, there are only 3 tiers in terms of height restrictions - under 42", 42"-48", over 48". Unfortunately, my daughter was only one inch shy of 48" so the only thing she could do was the carpet slide (you can have up to 4 racers at once), wave pool and the splash and play area. The splash and play had the big tilting bucket that dumps a whole lot of water on you and 3 different set of slides. For a kiddie structure, the slides are quite fast and you do get wet once you hit the bottom. I felt totally comfortable letting my 5&6yo roam free on this structure. The waves in the wave pool was weak, but the walk in design plus the circular pool area made up for it. I didn't go on any of the tube rides but it looked like there's a line at the bottom of the slide where you wait for the next available tube, then carry the tube up the stairs and wait for your turn on the slide. There are plenty of chairs all around the park. We didn't use their showers or change rooms, so I can't comment on that. My only complaint, and it's a huge one, is that the water was ICE COLD! The temp today was close to 30 degrees Celsius, but the water was frigid. The kids didn't seem to mind when they're playing in the water, but once you get out or was like me, just walking through the water, it was quite cold. Please heat your wave pool!!! There's so much that Bingemans have to offer and I can totally see my family returning in the near future. I know they have Octoberfest, KinderFest and Scream Park coming up, so check them out!

The employees were very helpful and the equipment (HTC Vive) was sufficient. The experience could've been much better for a company event if it displayed our actual names instead of randomized names, and if some people had a bit more time to get used to VR. There were the standard difficulties with glasses, people not understanding controls, and people having trouble seeing clearly...all of which might have been cleared up with a bit extra time at the start. Still, it was a great experience.

Put some controls in your hands (making sure you strap on the wrist loops) and off you go. Where you go is only limited by your imagination oh and maybe how long you have booked the booth for and what games there are and... It actually is pretty cool. We had a lot of fun. Couldn't figure out the group play thing to shoot zombies together until the end but it is pretty awesome even in single player mode. You do feel like you are somewhere else. And it does make the time go very fast. Real time that is. Is it perfect yet? Nope. Would I go back? Sure. Maybe won't touch but would not mind trying. I do think there are some improvements to be made. So in reality 3.5 stars. But the staff (adults) are cool. So the extra half star is awarded for their service in the line of duty. Bring your dad, mom, kids, and do try this out, that is if there is anyone out there like me that hadn't had the pleasure.

As many teams do, doors were decorated (with painters tape - not our 1st trip) and housekeeping ripped them down. no asking just tearing artwork down! When checking out I was told that one of the rooms I was paying for had already been paid. I told them that I had not yet paid, no reasoning or calling in someone else to help, they didn't let me pay. Knowing this was a mistake, I would figure it out with in the team, which I did. However the person who paid for my room also tried to undo it and was not able to. Then 3 days later after settling with the other person the hotel charged me. If they had just listened to either of us - maybe looked to see what other rooms that card had paid for and called them while we were still there? Terrible rude customer service with the philosophy 'the hotel is always right'. Saturday night when we returned to the hotel at 10pm after a full day of competition and an early morning on Sunday, there was booming loud music. We were on the 4th floor and it sounded like it was right under us. When we called the front desk we were told that they would be done soon. It was terribly loud and was not done for another hour .. on time change night with a 6am morning. Overall just not welcoming or helpful staff.

The cost here is a fraction of the cost at nearby lots. The halls are a bit confusing lol, but nice views. Small bathroom, but it's clean and looks newly renovated. I travel here for work often and look forward to staying here again.
