The Nachos are good with lots of toppings. They are easily sharable or a meal. The 4 Taquitos were really my favorite app, crunchy and filled with chicken and topped with fresh lettuce. Been here twice over Thanksgiving weekend! When we arrived into town on Black Friday- we rode 520 miles from San Diego taking a long route towards Wicken& Kingman. But, the weather we got at 3am- thickest fog and rain- had me in all my feels. So, I felt like some blended house margaritas were definitely earned! We had 20 minutes left to take a food Happy Hour. Decided to hang out on the adult side- LOVE how Chico's separates the bar area from the family area! I thought I ordered the taquitos from the HH menu- but, turned out, I said FLAUTAS! And man!! They are huge! Cut in halves... I even had the taco salad with ground beef- which was DELICIOUS! So, the next day- we had plans to meet family here! And yes! Came here a few days ago to try, as it came very recommended from a local. Coming from California, I fairly enjoyed their ground beef enchiladas plate. Very cheesy and flavorful. 1 Star - Very Disappointing I ordered three tacos--one shrimp, one carne asada, and one fish--and everything was a letdown. The fish taco was literally two fish sticks with some cabbage on a cold tortilla for $8.99. The carne asada taco was stuffed with lettuce on a freezing cold, falling-apart tortilla, also $8.99. The shrimp taco tasted more like shrimp fajitas with giant pieces of bell pepper and onion and barely any shrimp, again $8.99. Even worse, the beans and rice were cold and inedible. For the price and quality, this was a total disappointment. I will never return and do not recommend Chico's Tacos to anyone. read more

I know that u read a lot of reviews that start out with "Yelp won't let you give a zero star review", but now I finally get it! Ordered 2 of the 2 taco combos. Upgraded to the "grilled Mahi" tacos, for an additional charge of course. What a huge disappointment for my B-Day dinner after a great day on the lake. The fish was so dry and lacking flavor that my wife had to make herself a sandwich. I powered through with the Mahi taco and a shredded beef crunchy taco that were so bad that I filled up on the rice and refried beans, scooped up with Chico's stale chips. Don't know if they were having a bad day, month, or year, but the food tasted like it had been made on Wednesday and we were eating on a Friday..... Love Chicos food. Past few times service was not very good. Today It seemed busy as it took awhile, not a problem. But when my food came up, it was the only order in the window and it sat. Kim picked up the ticket and sat it back down and proceeded to take a new customers order??? I got up and asked if I could get my order? She rolled her eyes and told me when she was done taking the customers order. So my food continned to sit in the window. Finally someone came and delivered my order. I've been to Chico's Tacos only a handful of times now, and I've been nothing but mind-blown with the quality of their food! It's a little difficult for me personally trying to dine-in there due to their business's table layout and compact nature, so it's not for me. But that's alright. It certainly doesn't stop countless locals and travelers alike from enjoying their meals in-restaurant and all. My boyfriend and I are more than fine placing orders for pick-up like we do many places and enjoying it in the comfort of our home. ^_^ I've been addicted to their colossal and flavorful shrimp tacos! I love them! It's tough deciding on another product when you're dead-set on something you already know is amazing hehe... Food was great. Really enjoyed the enchilada and the rice. The fish was a little dry but adding some salsa to the taco helped out. Service was a little hit or miss. People before us all got their food really quick, however my plate sat in the window for about 5 minutes while one of the ladies was just sweeping the floor behind the counter and the other two were standing around. Wasn't super impressed by that. Inside was nice but from the reviews I was expecting it to be a full sit down place but instead you order at a counter and then sit down. It should be a Big Zero for the following reasons. I ordered the 2 taco plate and asked for fried shell tacos. One shredded beef and 1 chicken. The young girl working the counter wasn't welcoming nor helpful. Upon asking about the tacos she replied with a low mumble as she looked at the counter top. After I placed my order I asked if she could repeat it, due to the fact she had no communication skills. Her mumbled reply was, "two tacos." I had a feeling she got the order wrong with her demeanor. When I arrived home and sat down to eat, I saw she got the order wrong. Which could've been avoided if she would've replied with a response as if she cared and was providing good customer service.
