visited here during a trip to lake havasu and had a pleasant experience. the house margaritas were quite delicious while also strong. the deep fried burrito was also very yummy and filling and the Camaron enchiladas were also delicious and filling. they give you tortilla chips to start for free and they were very good as well. the servings and quality of the food and drinks were very fair for the price. our waitress was nice and attentive. we were seated in the bar area which had some cool decor. one minor downside was that the booth we were seated in was a little worn out, specifically the cushion which was cracking and not very cushiony anymore but that really wasn't a big deal. I would recommend visiting here if you are in lake havasu and in the mood for some pretty authentic mexican food that will fill you up without breaking the bank. read more

No wait on Friday night at 7 PM. Very courteous server, had a mango margarita on the rocks that was awesome. Very nice atmosphere, clean, relaxing. I had the espresso burrito, it's green chili pork with just a little rice and beans inside, smothered with Verde sauce. I usually post great reviews because I look up the restaurants i go to on Yelp and we go to 4-5 star places. And I know I posted a 5 star review before but I haven't been here in a while. Decided to go to this restaurant again when we were here in Lake Havasu and this time it DID disappoint! First of all, I just asked for an ice tea with an orange instead of a lemon. The server about flipped her lid. Told me they have to save them for the margaritas and if she puts 1 small slice in my tea they might run out. Seriously, how many people ask for an orange in their ice tea! I am assuming not that many because she seemed shocked by my request. Then she says we will do it this time but don't ever ask for that again. Well, that started out bad. Then we ordered the kids meals and a drink for each of them. I asked what came in the burrito on the lunch special and she said just chicken. I asked if there was cheese or beans in the burrito and she said that it was an extra cost! So the kids food came and it was suppose to have like 3 chicken tenders on each with a handful of fries, but the chicken tenders were cut in half length wise so really just 1 and a 1/2 tenders. My daughter order the grilled chicken bowl and thought it would be the size of a plate but it was the size of a small dessert plate. And the chicken was cut up so small it was probably less than an ounce. And a little slice of avocado with some wilted lettuce and no dressing. For $16!! Oh and the kids meals ended up $9 and another $4 each for a kids drink. Making a child's meal $12 for a kids meal. Then my mom and I split the fish tacos. Wow! The thinnest piece of fish in the tacos. The only meal that was bigger was my husbands ground beef burrito with rice and beans. That was a much better plate. Then my daughter and mom ordered the skinny peach margarita and the cup was such a small glass and it tasted like there was no tequila in the drink. It actually tasted like water. I think the server made the drinks and to boot they were $16 each! When we were done and saw the receipt and were shocked at the price $128 for 2 adult entrees and 2 kids meals and two drinks so we asked to see the manager. We were told he wasn't' there. She told us we can call the restaurant or talk to the manager. Well, he wasn't there so that was a waste. She did come back and said the manager gave us a 20% discount and rightly so! She probably either called him or he was really there but they didn't want to tell us that. Their prices have gone way up from the last time we were there or they just skimp on the meals. And another disappointment is they don't make the queso they used to have. That was one of the best queso's we have ever had. She said it takes too long to make. Well that is probably why it was so good. So they take it off the menu to save more money! Don't go here if you want to pay for a lot of extras and lousy drinks that cost more than the meals! But the kicker was and why I am posting this review is that the server said, next time then go to another restaurant! So believe me, we will. What a bad experience. So disappointed. I wish I had taken pictures so you could see how small everything was. But I wasn't going to give this review until the server said to go to another restaurant next time! read more

I love this restaurant. I cannot get over how good the carne asada is in the fajitas. I ordered it again to make sure. It's the most tender delicious meat ever. Salsa here is good too. What I especially enjoyed was the shrimp cocktail. So good! I sat in the bar each time I was here so the service was great bc I was being served by a great guy named Francisco. Tonight was our first time here and what a wonderful experience. We sat in the bar area and our server, Jose, couldn't have been any nicer or more efficient. We enjoyed a of couple drinks at happy hour prices and Jose made sure he got us in under the wire for the 2nd round of drinks. Despite being incredibly busy, he took care of us with a smile, and even complimented us a drink because our food order was taking a little longer than usual. I ordered the steak fajitas and hubby had the espresso burrito. Both dishes were excellent. The steak and veggies on the steak fajita platter were done to perfection. Absolutely delicious! Stopped by Azul Agave while in Lake Havasu area, thanks to a local pharmacy tech's recommendation & it was amazing. Sabrina our server was spot on with her product knowledge & excellent drink recommendations. The restaurant was traditional Mexican atmosphere with quiet music playing in the background. Our food was out quickly, served hot & delicious. I had the street tacos (my go to order) & they truly did not disappoint. The asada meat was tasty & very flavorful, there was a lot of food & brought half home for lunch tomorrow. Hubby had the chicken enchiladas & beans (no cheese due to severe allergies) the sauce had the perfect blend of spices not too hot just delicious.
