I was greeted by a friendly staff, and the wait time to see the dentist was not long. Dr. Ee explained the tooth had failed and that I needed an implant. I agreed and we went through the process. I can tell you now I will stick with Dr. Ee as the work and the care given is second to none.

Unfortunately I was raised in era prior to fluoride in toothpaste and water. I first went to him shortly after moving to the area after a tooth broke off. He had to pull what was left and eventually he placed an implant there. It was all done quite painlessly. Recently I've had a similar incident and have begun the process again. Again, it really is without pain. He has replaced some bad fillings, provided some crowns and caps etc. He is extremely attentive to fine details and always doing what is best for his patients. In addition, his entire staff, front desk, hygienist, assistants, are all fantastic. If you need a fantastic dentist, Dr. Ee should be your first choice.

On multiple occasions, I was given inaccurate information about coverage, leading to wasted time and unnecessary stress. The most unacceptable incident was when a procedure was cancelled after I had already been numbed and after my copay of several hundred dollars had been collected--only then was I told it would not be covered. That level of incompetence and disregard for patients is unacceptable. Dental care is about trust, and By the Sea Dentistry has broken mine. Until they overhaul their front office operations and insurance practices, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone.

Upon arrival I was seen promptly, and the procedure was completed during the same visit without needing a follow-up appointment. It was very quick and, most importantly, completely painless. Dr. Wang and the entire staff were friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I greatly appreciated. The only downside is the wait time for an appointment, but that seems to reflect how many patients trust and rely on this practice. I would recommend them without reservation.

I was in and out in an hour and didn't feel a thing. A definite recommend. And, hopefully I will never have to go back but if I do need another root canal I will be going back to Dr. Chen. I have read the other reviews and did not have the same experiences everyone else complained about. The staff was great. I did have to wait over 5 weeks for my initial appointment but I called back after a week and they got me a cancelation spot the next day. I read others complaining that they never followed up for a cancelation spot but I had calls out to 4 area Endodontics and none of them called me back for cancelations. I expect that from any Healthcare office. My experience was lovely and I highly reccomend.
