The first told us we needed an appointment and the first available 5 days away. Uh, no thanks. I remembered that both my Uncle and my parents' (on his recommendation) had used this shop to have their older cars repainted. So away we went. And they could take my poor battered car immediately and promised it's return in 2 days. And the price was what I expected. Bonus: my car was ready in less than 2 days. Do not expect fanciness...or free coffee...although there is a giant TV in the office so you can catch up on your daytime TV. I am unclear if they accept credit cards or not. There is sign on the door but I was asked to pay by check. Whatever, my lovely repaired car is sitting in my driveway.

I had to wait for him to arrive at his own business for 30 minutes, then he quoted me $130 for the window and labor. When I went to pickup my car the next day, he wasn't there again and his partner demanded $250 in cash! They did a terrible job fixing the window, the motor strains to roll up/down the window, and the door is now out of alignment so I can hear the wind (rain will probably leak through now). Since I was naive enough to not get a written quote the day before, I told him I'd give him $200 or call the cops, and he settled with the $200. Please do yourself a favor and FIND ANOTHER MECHANIC. This business is shady and untrustworthy!

The mechanic who met me when I dropped off the keys was helpful and polite. When I arrived to pick up the car and pay, the clerk asked me if I was paying with a credit card, that there would be a fee of $19. I said I had a debit and a credit card, but had I known about the fee, I could have brought a check. I had a relative in the hospital that day and had to get back, so I paid with the credit card. As I gave her the credit card, the "Jim" came in and started aggressively explaining how credit surcharges work, at which time I told him I understand the process, but had I known ahead of time that they were applying it to debit and credit, I could have brought a check. Live and learn, no big deal. They should clarify that debit and check payments do not garner additional fees ahead of time, and I know to ask about it beforehand in the future. After I paid, they couldn't find my key fob, and Jim said it was likely still in the car, which was parked in front of the business at the curb and left unlocked with my belongings in it. This was annoying, but I rationalized to myself that it couldn't have been there long and it was in front of the business. Jim came around the counter to exit the office with me and sort of shuffled around in front of the door. I wasn't sure what he was doing until he asked me, "Are you scared?" I realized he was referring to the mask I was wearing (as stressed at the federal, state, and local levels when in public in this time of Covid-19 and in our area which has been one of the hardest hit in the U.S). Now, this guy wasn't wearing a mask, nor was his office clerk. I personally care for two family members who are in high-risk categories. Suffice it to say, that was strike three. Won't be using them again and certainly won't recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues.

He allowed me to order my own parts from eBay and bring it in! I love that I can shop for my own parts and bring it in. It took his team about 20 mins to change the motor! Hourly rate i believe minimally is $50/hr. Whereas other places didn't allow me to bring my part in and charged me ridiculous labor cost. They also went out of their way to repair one of my tires that had picked up a nail causing a slow leak at no extra charge. Overall, I was very satisfied by the quality if the repairs.
