Every visit, we feel so welcomed by the entire staff, and Jevon actually looks forward to his appointments every six months! He especially gets excited about the quarters he receives after his cleaning, which he uses to pick out a prize from the quarter machines. It's such a thoughtful touch that makes the experience extra special for him. I brought my 18 month old daughter in because I suspected that she had cavities and plaque, despite our best efforts at preventing this. She hates brushing her teeth at home and I knew it would be hard for the dentist to work with her as well. Both the dental hygienist and the dentist remained extremely patient with her, even though she was crying and screaming the whole time. They were able to accomplish everything that needed to be done, and did it with professionalism and friendliness. It ended up that she was starting to form cavities, and the dentist delivered this information in such an encouraging way. She had a great plan of action in preventing them from growing, and helped me to not feel worried about them at all. Pricing was upfront and I knew what my total would be prior to my arrival. This place has definitely found the winning formula for handling kids. My kids look forward to going to the dentist every 6mo here. They let the kids pick out a show or movie to watch. There is a TV on the ceiling for them to watch and at the end they are given quarters to use in some old school vending machines to get prizes. The only downside which is a result of their success is they are very difficult to schedule with. They seem to have too many patients. So if you need to schedule an appointment for your kids make sure you do it months in advance. read more

Dr. Allison is not compassionate...She did a filling for my daughter, didn't use any Novocain for the filling...my daughter was visibly UNCOMFORTABLE. Dr. Allison did not stop drilling to ask how my daughter was doing she just continued drilling away!!! It was traumatizing for both me and my daughter. Dr. Allison's behavior is grotesque...she should NOT be working with children or in the medical field. She has a really bad attitude, has extremely hostile energy... I brought my daughter to a few other dentists for 2nd...3rd opinions they disagreed with the treatment plan she gave us. Stay away from this place. read more

We took our 3 year old here and were blown away from the second we walked in! They had his name drawn on the window welcoming him as a new patient. When we went in, they let him pick a dvd to watch. The hygienist was so patient and pleasant as she explained everything to our son. Then the doctor came in and was equally pleasant and helpful. Excellent excellent service, treatment, staff and experience for the kids! My kids are in highschool and middle school and they like coming to the dentist! The staff is so on top of reminding, scheduling, accommodating for their patients. It is busy here because it is so popular. My kids are older but they still like coming for the last 3 years. They pick a video or iPad to keep them occupied, choose a toy/sticker/balloon animal and even get coins to get a couple little prizes from that old-school candy/prize machines. It's so cute how much they accommodate for kids! We also get quality toothbrushes...I haven't had to buy a toothbrush for them in years! Dr. Park is THE nicest man I have met and owns the business. We wait to see him and he is do personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I really need to feel like I am getting the best care with honesty and integrity with service and pricing and this is definitely the place!! I would not advise anyone to go to this practice. Dr. Allison has no compassion and when dealing with anything that actually requires dental work they will send you to a different practice. It is also impossible to get an appointment. I called that my son was on terrible pain and all they said was the first possible appointment was in 10 days. read more

Dr Sam Park is the best dentist ever! He is conservative in his management. He doesn't try to fill every cavity (to make extra money) and will watch to see if it's even needed. He is so kind and gentle and truly cares. My oldest is almost 18 years old and will he was when she can no longer see him. I read a review about the 45 minute wait between the hygienist and dentist. Definitely worth the wait. Usually the good ones always have long waits. He is accommodating and will take whatever time he needs w all his patients. They can't predict so hiccups happen where a patient may require more attention or is uncooperative. It's too be expected in healthcare- especially where kids are involved - that the schedule may not always run smoothly. I appreciate that he is patient and will take the time as needed. read more

I wish the rest of life was as awesome as going to Children's Dental World. All of my kids love going to the dentist. They make it so welcoming for them: lots of toys, DVDs to watch while they are getting their teeth cleaned, prizes for when they are done. We've seen Dr Sam, Dr Kimberly, (and another, though I can't remember now)- all of them, as well as all of the hygienists we've seen are beyond respectful of both the kids and the parents, making it so easy for the kids to go to the dentist. My oldest has some sensory issues, so I remember being exceptionally nervous before our first visit, and the entire experience was awesome. He was allowed to touch all of the tools before they were put in his mouth. The hygienist allowed him the time he needed to feel comfortable with the process. I wish I was able to parent with the patience of the staff here. The administrative staff and process is so helpful to parents: you'll get tons of reminders for your next appointment (if you wish)- postcard, text, phone call. They give you a heads up on charges to expect for your next visit (for example, my insurance doesn't completely cover x-rays- so they let me know what to expect at our next visit). You know that headache that you get when waiting for your insurance to process at the doctor, or that random $15 bill you get in the mail when you have no idea where it came from? - That doesn't happen here. It was our first major dental work and not only did they make our son feel at ease the entire time and complete great work-- they made me feel at ease too as a parent. Best dentist hands down! No one likes going to the dentist, especially my kids, but Dr. Sam Park and his team make the experience pleasant. The goal is to make every visit enjoyable and not traumatic. My 5 year old needed a root canal and it was done swiftly with no tears. He enjoyed his movie, stickers, and balloons during the process. Afterwards he got to pick his awesome rock guitar toothbrush, more stickers, and 2 quarters for the toy trinket vending machine. He came out of there with his hands full! Our middle child has cerebral palsy and sensory issues but they have accommodated for us in every way. They go at her pace and don't push or force to get it done quickly. Dr. Allison is the best she is patient, she really works with the kids! My son had to put his expander (he has the worst gag reflex)in every night and Dr. Allison worked with him until he was comfortable doing it himself! On My Daughters first visit to the dentist she wasn't so cooperative at 2 but the second time Dr. Allison made being at the dentist fun! Now they are excited to go to the dentist! The hygienist work well with the kids, there are some who work better with the anxious kids. They are well organized place from the moment you check in until you check out! Not good place to go for your kids dental needs. Dr. Park easily recommended general anesthesia (high risks procedure) for a difficult 5 years old child needing only a few cavities filled. Not even attempted different method or offered another session when my child resisted, he is all about money and his precious time. He should not be a pediatric dentist because he does not know how to care for a difficulty child. My child ended up seeing another dentist whose is caring and compassionate and my child loves him, Dr. Glick at Northshore Children Dental, who took time to get to know my child, know how to ease his tension and able to work on him after second appointment. read more

It is a absolutely an amazing place to take your kids for their dental needs. Staff was very polite and atmosphere was very comforting. Before we entered in the room for the cleaning he got to pick one movie to watch which was very nice, also the dentist was very friendly she was explaining to my son( he is 3)what was going on and had him feel the tools on his finger nails for him not to be scared. He sat by him self and got his teeth cleaned up without and crying or making any fuss about it. He also got a goodie bag after he was done. It was a wonderful experience. Dr Sam and Dr Rami are THE BEST. I've had so much trauma from my childhood dentists that I was determined to find a practice for my kids would make them feel safe, at ease and excited when they visit the dentist. The staff and the practice as a whole is so welcoming and comforting. My daughter has had cavities filled and still gets so excited to go. My son lost a tooth in a biking accident on a weekend and Dr Sam took our call and comforted us and had us bring in our son when the office opened up the next Monday to ensure everything was fine with my son's mouth.
