I brought my 18 month old daughter in because I suspected that she had cavities and plaque, despite our best efforts at preventing this. She hates brushing her teeth at home and I knew it would be hard for the dentist to work with her as well. Both the dental hygienist and the dentist remained extremely patient with her, even though she was crying and screaming the whole time. They were able to accomplish everything that needed to be done, and did it with professionalism and friendliness. It ended up that she was starting to form cavities, and the dentist delivered this information in such an encouraging way. She had a great plan of action in preventing them from growing, and helped me to not feel worried about them at all. Pricing was upfront and I knew what my total would be prior to my arrival. I feel extremely confident in this practice, and plan to bring my other child here as well.

Children's Dental World has made made my once nervous two year old excited to visit the dentist. From the amazing dentist's to the prizes, stickers and balloon animals! My child is so excited for his next visit.

We brought our toddler for her first dental visit after preparing her in advance by talking about…read morethe dentist and practicing at home. Unfortunately, the experience felt rushed and not developmentally appropriate for a first visit. The office itself is very overstimulating (arcade-like waiting area, open bay with multiple chairs, loud cartoons), which may work for some children but was overwhelming for ours. Once we were brought back, the hygienist lowered the chair without warning or explanation, which immediately frightened our child and caused significant distress. As she became increasingly upset, the response was to suggest holding her hands and legs to continue the exam. For a non-urgent, first visit, this did not feel appropriate to us. During this time, a second hygienist made joking comments and laughed about our child's distress, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we chose to end the visit, we were told "it will be the same next time," rather than discussing alternative, child-centered approaches. This was surprising, as we have had very different experiences at other pediatric dental practices where first visits focus on comfort, narration, and gradual exposure rather than restraint. Parents considering this office should be aware of the approach used here and decide whether it aligns with their expectations for a child's first dental experience.

They fixed his teeth in 4 separate visits instead of putting him to sleep. They were kind and patient with him. I cannot recommend wee care enough. We love it here. I took my 5 week old baby here with a suspected lip tie. She was seen by Dr Kollman…read more I would give Dr Kollmann, and I would give him five stars. I was very nervous going to this appointment - breastfeeding has been very painful since my daughter was born, so on the one hand I was kind of hoping for a lip tie diagnosis as vindication that it wasn't just "my fault" that nursing was going so badly. On the other hand, I was nervous that she *did* have a tie and might need surgery (albeit very minor surgery). Dr Kirk was very reassuring from the beginning - he showed me a video of how a baby *should* suck and after an examination explained that in his expert opinion, my baby had both a (posterior i.e. easy to miss) tongue tie and an upper lip tie. He showed me photos of both that his assistant took so I could see what he was talking about. I then dissolved into tears because I was both relieved to have an explanation for the pain and sad that she would need to be handed over for a procedure. Dr Kirk and his assistant were both very kind and reassuring. The procedure itself was done by laser, which apparently means pain and bleeding are minimal. It took all of ten minutes before she was back in my arms and they let me breastfeed in a private room straight away. Daughter wasn't even crying when she came back from the procedure. Dr Kirk gave me his personal cell number in case I had any concerns about recovery, and his office called me later that day to see how my daughter was doing. So I received fantastic care in the office and also felt very supported thereafter. They also scheduled two follow-up appointments, which are included in the cost of the procedure (that cost, I would add, seems very reasonable - from what I can tell, it was cheaper for me to pay out of pocket here than it would have been to go with an in-network ENT specialist). I took one star off because I had an 11.30 appointment but didn't actually see the doctor until 12.30. Luckily I didn't have anywhere else to be, and it was worth the wait, but it would have been nice to be told on check-in that they were running a bit behind. If you have any suspicion of lip and/or tongue tie in your breastfed baby then I would highly recommend a visit to Dentistry for Kids.

RED FLAG Tried to make an appt for me 3 year old and 14…read moremonth old. After giving all the information needed I was told "how this would work" which was a speech about how parents are not allowed in during the appointment and I'd have to wait in the waiting room. After saying how that seemed extremely odd and concerning since this is a medical appointment and I'm their parent I was told it was "no different than day care". We don't do daycare either not that this is even remotely the same. Sorry I'm not leaving my small tiny children who I already mentioned were nervous with a man I've never met. I was then told maybe they could arrange for me to "meet him first". There's something very strange or worse going on here. Please steer clear.
