I called this clinic and they said they could do his vaccine. I arrived for his appointment and the staff was all very nice and friendly and everything looked very clean. We were moved next door to another waiting room and they asked to see his vaccine card which I provided. They asked me why I was getting a third dose and I said because the Pfizer vaccine for infants is 3 doses. She asked me but who told you that you needed a third dose. I was kind of stumped and responded Pfizer and tx childrens told me...... She said I'll be right back and left with my son's vaccine card. At this point I am extremely unconfutable with having my son vaccinated here as they clearly do not even know the vaccine schedule. If she had not have taken the vaccine card I would have just left. So I waited a bit then she came back and said they don't have the pfizer infant dose. I said I was told that y'all did when I called and scheduled a couple of days ago. She apologized and said that they do not have it. So the whole thing wound up being a waste of time. So while everyone was very nice, there is some communication issues with their scheduling staff as well as some education issues. If they are administering vaccines, they should at least be aware of the vaccine schedule. I did really like that this clinic is smaller and it felt like you got more individualized attention versus other pediatric clinics that always seem overcrowded.

Somewhat new to the area, I did not have a primary care physician. Therefore, I looked to Yelp (and quickly realized that physicians don't get many reviews). Crossing my fingers based on one review, I called this place. Although I was a new patient and they didn't have any appointments available for a couple of weeks, they were kind enough to let me come in (although warning that I would have to wait a while). It was only about a 30 minute wait, which, from my experience, is not that bad for a doctor's office even if one has an appointment. Everyone on staff was very nice. The doctor had great bedside manner, and he didn't even mind when I let out a little swear word from the pain. When he asked me how I had heard about the office, I told him I had found it on Yelp. He laughed and said, "Now that's something I've never heard before!" Even though I picked this place in a crunch, I would definitely go back in the future.

Gave them all my previous doctors info, etc. I never like to change docs for this reason. New office doesn't know me or my history. Welp, today was the shxtshow. I saw the doctor on Monday. Forgot to ask her for refills when I was there, my bad. So I requested my HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MED & a pain cream for my hands that we discussed Monday. Someone who dgaf DENIED my refill. I can see maybe being shaky about the pain cream, but deny my High Blood Pressure medicine when I tell you I'm out?!?!! Be so for real. I have lots of medical issues and this one is basic to control. The kicker???? I saw the message from them at 3:55 pm, responded immediately. Then, since this is SERIOUS, I called. Phone off the hook for the 7 mins straight that I tried calling. I Google the general number and *gasp* I got a person to answer. But it's barely 4pm and she states that ALL MANAGEMENT AND DOCTORS ARE GONE. They advertise and state on their website that they are available till 5. Now, if I have an adverse health incident over the weekend, when I requested this refill earlier in the week, and they denied it and went home, I get to go the th E. R. and have to pay a $100 copay and God knows what else. This is abhorrent behavior especially when times are hard like they are now and I'm on a fixed income. Choose wisely.

Not that it matters anyway because they make you fill out 17 pages of new patient information at the office duplicating the information I entered in the portal. At 30 minutes past my appointment time, I inquired as to how much longer it would be. I was informed there was still one person ahead of me. In the hour that I had already been there, they had called nobody out of that front lobby so I asked for my new patient information that I completed and left. Dr. Schmidt may well be a good physician but I will never know. If you value your time, you may want to look elsewhere. If you don't, this may well be your place. My first time seeing her, I was off put by the fact that she was smoking outside of her office. Then we walk inside and her staff looks like they rolled out of bed and hardly acknowledged my existence. I did get right in to see her without any wait but I wasn't prepared to be yelled at minutes later. I had had a colonoscopy about a month prior and ended up with an infection. I was just there to get a refill on antibiotics. However, she persistently kept asking if I was pregnant. At that point in my life, I was DEFINITELY still a virgin. No ifs, ands, or buts. I told her that and she kept asking me in disbelief. Finally, she makes some snarky comment and leaves the room. When she comes back, she tells me she was running a test on me for Lupus. I of course freak out because I do not want Lupus. She then basically tells me to grow up and that's it. The test results came back a week later and were negative (phew), however, she goes on to tell me that it could be a false negative. What?!? You don't say that to a patient that has been worried sick for a week and then gets good news. I will say that all of this happened many many years ago, but I just felt I should share since I didn't see any reviews for her. You could not pay me to go back to her.

I have Dr. Patel for about and frankly since I just needed some cholesterol medication I was happy to just deal with the terrible front office every 6 months. Frankly, they try to get an appointment (and payment) every way they can. Need to get some bloodwork, you have to come in, have to read those results, you have to come in, need a referral you have to come in. The attention I received was subpar every time, the doctor barely looked at me or talked to me. If that was everything I would be ok. I have been calling for a referral every day for the last 4 days and each time it's a different excuse, first, it was that the person that sends those out is out of the office. Ok, understandable. Call back again the next day, told me they will send it out by end of the day. OK, let me just call again on Monday, the girl totally forgot (THEN LIED ABOUT IT) because when she did try to send the insurance change (the reason why I called in the first place) did not let her do that. Ok, please could schedule something so I can get my referral. When after 4 days of calling she finally tells me that they don't accept that insurance. SHE COULD HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS 4 DAYS AGO!!! Trash service, if you are thinking about coming here do yourself a favor please don't.
