We had the option of getting brunch or the regular lunch menu. I ordered the OG chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The chicken was full of flavor and juicy and I liked the sauce that came on it. The only complaint I had was the service. The server wasn't bad but he also wasn't good. It almost felt like he did not want to come to our table. He forgot to put in the order for one item that my table asked for. We had to flag him down to ask for refills or things like the check.

Their famous short rib egg rolls were a bit burned on the outside so a bit dry on the inside. They did have a very good sauce served with them that pretty well covered the flaws. We also got the sweet potato corn bread. It was tasty, but fell apart just a little too easily. I had to eat it with a fork. The risotto that came with my duck leaned a little too far to the mushy side. The duck itself was really good. My niece had the salmon, and she had no complaints. She said she had the leftover last night as a sandwich and that it was delicious. Service was excellent. No notes.

House made Pastrami was delicious-go with the 1 lb (buy the pound) Pastrami sandwich -at least 2 if not 3 sandwiches in one. Corned Beef was also tasty and some of the best we've had. Latkas and Dill potato salad hit the spot but the Garlic Dill fries stole the show-one of a kind and not to be missed. For dessert, we saw they had Hamantaschen and got one of each-both very good with rich fruit spread topping. Service was engaged and patient (given our questions and recommendation requests) as our order was being placed. An extensive menu with everything from Beef tongue sandwich (Jewbano) to Chicken Liver as well Hot Dogs and Smoked Salmon and Whitefish. We wanted it all! Liked the atmosphere and decor with booth and bar stool seating. A must stop when visiting Richmond!

My daughter's friend, who is Jewish, had recommended it. We were told there was a 25 minute wait, and we were told we could hang out at the store next door. Just as we were done wandering, our table was called. I had the corned beef sandwich, toasted, and a side of potato salad. My wife had the chopped chicken liver appetizer and the potato latke appetizer. The food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go again. They close at 3 pm and are NOT open for dinner.

We all ordered hot chocolate, which was surprisingly good. I went with the french toast, eggs, and turkey sausage, everything was flavorful and well prepared. I also had a chance to try a few other dishes at the table, and everything I tasted was good. One thing I really appreciated is the variety on the menu. They offer a good amount of options, including vegan choices. My dad is vegan, so it's always a plus finding a brunch spot where we can go when he comes to visit. The restaurant itself is clean, colorful, and has a fun, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a casual brunch with family or friends. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, just a heads up, parking is not meter-based. You'll need to pay online, so plan accordingly.

Lemaire is the restaurant located inside the historic Jefferson Hotel. If you've ever been inside…read morethe Jefferson, you know how beautiful and classic the hotel is. The restaurant matches that ambiance, and is a lot bigger than you would think it was. Also, it has private parking, just make sure you get your parking ticket validated at the restaurant. My friend treated me to a belated birthday dinner. Upon arriving, they provided a custom birthday menu, which is a great touch. This place is fancy, as in special cutlery and plates. Even the way they serve the food and the bread was fancy. But even with the fanciness... the service was great and everyone was very kind. Now to the food and drinks... The drinks weren't all that. I think they just weren't what we were used to. The bread and butter were delish, but who could say anything bad about fresh carbs and butter. They have daily special and one of them was the soft shell crab. The crab was huge and was really tasty. This was my friend's first time having soft shell crab and she really liked it too. For my main entree, I chose the roasted red snapper. Again... this place js fancy so other than the snapper, I wasn't really sure what other ingredients were in my dish. Nonetheless, it was all delicious. I finished the whole plate, which is uncommon for me. I want to add that it looks like they rotate their menu items so they might not always have the same dishes on their menu. I also wanted to note that, unless they are very well mannered or are older and appreciate fine dining, I would not suggest bringing your kids here. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a date night, celebration, or anytime you want a fine dining experience.

I ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer it was really good! Loved the shrimp on top. I got the organic chicken entree and a size of macaroni. We ended the date with the chocolate pistachio mousse tart. It was really good! The honeycomb on top was super cute. Definitely recommend coming here for a date night. Also we just moved back to Richmond and it was definitely a nice "welcome back" date night .

Inside 8.5/10: The inside has this chill and calming feeling but the booths feel a little bit small and tight but overtime I didn't mind. Food 10/10: And here we go. For the appetizer I ordered Pizza Cheese Fries and they were delicious and my Calzone was cooked amazingly well and cheesy. From my previous visits I ordered a Steak Burrito, Fried Chicken Club, Italian Sausage Sub and a Country Fried Steak with Eggs and 2 pancakes. Every single item was cooked to crispy and savory perfection. Overall, this is the perfect place for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or Dinner and I highly recommend. 9.5/10

I'm the type of bastard to pull up on your session, and if the food ain't it, I'm pressed. I don't bullshit these reviews. I mainly pulled up because I'm a follower, and a lot of my prick friends think this place is a gift from Jesus himself. But it's funny because I also listen to these douchebags knowing damn well they're all liars, so let me get straight into it. The servers in this joint still haven't figured out if they're a man or a woman and still believe that COVID is life-threatening. Eight times out of ten, they look like inmates at Arkham Asylum. The best part of this meal was the water with lemon. Straight up. I gave y'all a picture of how the food looked, and I'm here to tell you it still ain't shit. It's cool that they're serving breakfast all day, but I'm not the type of guy to fall for this normally. Found a hair on the mozzarella sticks I copped and didn't say a word because I'm real like that. Anyway, I came, I saw, I ate, and unfortunately I remembered. Lemon water went undefeated. Everybody else needs to hit the film room. Fuck y'all, I'll see you at the next one.
