Dr. Hubbard answered each of my detailed questions about her medical philosophy and care protocols (yes I was a first time dad and read too much "What to Expect when you are Expecting"). She answered each question in a matter of fact manner. She also was very understanding. Moreover she seemed very warm. We became patients and she made a visit to my new born son in the hospital the day he was born!!! Over the years she has discovered minor issues that could well have been major like an irregular heart beat and a minor illness. Unchecked, it may have cause my son issues down the road but she and her team are always very thorough. Another piece of mind is that the office is under the umbrella of Children's National Primary Care; which is associated with the world renowned Children's Hospital in D.C. As far as medical care and patient care, this office and Dr. Hubbard (also Dr. Tucker-Powell) are top notch. Fast forward 15 years from my first interaction until today. My son is still a part of the CP&A family. As a teenager they provide him care in a way where he can be a self advocate for himself and he is given the space to discuss any concerns he has directly with "his doctor." All while keeping the parent fully in the loop. All the great things about the office must be well known because they seem to have a full patient roster. They seem to have a full office especially around back to school time, but I have never had an issue getting a routine physical. When ill, they see him the same day or the very next. The check in process is pretty much electronic done on cool iPads that even have a credit card swiping function (very convenient). They have recently moved to a new space down the road from their smallish location. Thus, the size of waiting area and number of exam rooms have been increased and updated. The office is beautiful and very functional. Even the exam room decor was more teen appropriate while other rooms were decorated for younger children. Many of the staff have been with the office for all 15 years we have been coming. They are without fail professional and very friendly. They also take their jobs seriously but in a way that calms the kids fearful of impending shots (and parents that tend to worry). I will say, our experience here has been like having a private doctor that has launched my son on a lifetime journey of good health and a great understanding of his body and the importance of going to the doctor regularly. Would that all providers and businesses operated as competently and warmly as Dr. Hubbard's and her team at CP&A!!!! Five stars easy and the highest of Yelp accolades!!!

The kid was mostly happy and didn't seem to be in any particular distress, so going to the ER seemed a little excessive. I knew they needed to get checked, and I needed the peace of mind, so I went right to PM Pediatrics to get them checked out. The waiting area was nice and roomy, and we got called back and seen very quickly. The nurses and doctor we saw were fantastic and super sweet. We were discharged and on our way in no time. I'm so glad I trusted my gut and got the all clear, and thankful to have another trusted resource for my kid.

Once inside I learned that you can schedule an appointment in advance if needed. Registration is to be done online via a QR code. Because my need was outside of the norm, a receptionist assisted with registration. I could tell that they were new, as many mistakes were made, from entering myself in the system rather than my child, failure to ask for my insurance card, and having to repeat/enter information in several times. I appreciate the need to learn; however, at some point it would have been helpful for someone else to take over (eventually they did). Once taken back, the RN that assisted us was super kind and gentle with our son. He took the time to answer any questions that we had. The NP was kind and listened to our concerns. We were advised we would receive a follow up call, as of late (it's been 5 days) and that hasn't occurred. Overall, I was really pleased with my experience, at PM. The location is close to my home, I can make an appointment if needed, the staff are kind, the location is clean and they did a great job caring for my kid.

I specifically was looking for African-American pediatricians that had good ratings on Google and Yelp. It was hard but finally I came across TLC pediatrics and I was so happy I did! We are still new patients; my daughter's first visit was less than two weeks ago. Everyone we encountered was very nice and personable. Even when I scheduled the appointment, the receptionist was very kind and patient. There was not any long wait times... just a typical 5-10min here and there. My daughter enjoyed her visit up until her immunization shot lol. The rooms are definitely kids friendly and they have toys to keep children at ease. My husband and daughter returned yesterday for a sick visit and it was super easy to schedule! He also told me that it was empty and he had no wait time. He told me he really loved this office and looks forward to continuing to have our daughter go here. Btw Dr. Long originally saw us and then Dr. Washington yesterday.

The staff is very rude. The office also penny pinches for EVERY single thing in office. I'm coming from Kaiser where everything is included so maybe I don't understand how things work but my son needed to have mucus sucked out his nose and that cost $150? I could've just gone and bought a nosefrida. I should've been notified about the cost before picking the boogers out my kids nose because that was a hefty bill. Then they hounded me for the money as soon as I got the bill. I paid it and we did not last more than 6 months with the practice.
