As a kid, I moved from school to school, always trying to find the right place. The moment I came here, I felt welcomed. Looking through these photos now, it's hard to believe how much time has passed. Seeing all those little faces brings back so many memories I hadn't thought about in years. I'm incredibly grateful I got to spend part of my childhood here. If you have a child, I truly can't recommend this school enough. I cannot say enough good things about this school. We were beyond blessed having our son attend children's village since 2022. I am a work from home mom and needed a part time program to allow me to get some work done during the day and get my son out of the house, socializing and learning. To say they go above and beyond for the children is an understatement. Each teacher my son has had through the years he has attended has been excellent. They truly feel like family. As my son is ready for kindergarten it is so hard to part ways with this school. I am so thankful for every single person that works at children's village and we have made such great memories here. I loved having my daughter attend childrens village Miss Mami is the director and she is so responsive and kind. My daughters teachers Miss Fatima and Miss Kim were both great, on her last day she received a yearbook made by her teachers filled with photos of great times she had during the year and it was extremely thoughtful and I think really shows how much the teachers genuinely care about their students. My daughter recently enrolled this month and she absolutely loves it, teacher's and other staff are very friendly. Activities are a blast for my little one and she learns new curriculums on a daily basis, I would definitely recommend to family and friends. read more

Can't say enough THANK YOU's to the fantastic teachers at Children's Village. Throughout the pandemic, they cared for both our littles so well. When everything else was so uncertain, Children's Village stayed steady and dependable. My 4 year old has been here since he was 6 months. My 15 month old has been here since he was 4 months old. The same teachers that were with my oldest are now with my youngest. The activities and curriculum seem great, advancing with the kiddo's ability. My older one surprised me with a thank you note for dinner the other night - that he wrote mostly by himself. We have been so lucky to have found a safe and fun learning environment with wonderful teachers and caregivers that we 100% trust our boys with during the day. Thank you! read more

They let me join the waitlist and wait for 6 months before informing me that they didn't think my Daughter was a good fit to the school. They should of told me this information the second I joined the waitlist and I obviously wouldn't of waited for them .... my daughter went to this school previously for 5 months and they never mentioned anything negative or that they didn't think she was a good fit . The owner, Barbara, turned a blind eye to teachers being mentally abusive to the children. Instead of addressing issues with the teachers, she moved the abusive teacher to teach younger children that didn't have the language skills to express what was happening. Some teachers that knew what was happening didn't protect the children. Some of the teachers are great. Good learning program. read more

Cliff Notes: Children's Village staff lacks accountability and integrity; the Owner does not facilitate a safe and transparent environment. If you care about your and your child's well-being and mental health, please stay far away from this place. There have been multiple occurrences where I've picked up my son at the end of the day from this place with cuts, bruises, and soiled diapers. Each time, the staff couldn't provide any explanations. At this point, it's apparent that the staff isn't very attentive. Unfortunately, there's one incident that ultimately led us to the decision to take our son out of Children's Village. This past Wednesday, when our 3-year-old son came home from daycare, we noticed that he was very uncomfortable and needed to use the restroom. My wife noticed that our son's pull-up diaper was extremely full and twisted backward, in between his buttocks. The front was worn correctly, but the pull was twisted in between his legs and inside-out on the back. The sides of the pull-up appeared to be separated and reattached. The following morning, we spoke to one of the teachers and she appeared to be confused and horrified by the photos that we shared. She was unable to give us an answer as to why this would happen. She told us that their potty training procedure was to have the child pull down their pull-up diaper-like underwear and they are always supervised by a teacher. She told us that something like this could never happen. Pull-ups are not designed to go up that way. We were unable to speak to the director since they weren't there. A few hours later, we received a call from his teacher and were given empty apologies with no explanation as usual. We requested to speak with the owner, Barbara. She drew the conclusion that our son took off his own diaper and twisted it himself. This is completely contradicting what we were just told about their potty training procedures. We have been potty training our son for the past couple of months, and he doesn't separate his pull-up and twist it himself. Overall, this highly concerning. We had no idea how his diaper was twisted and causing him discomfort. Barbara refused to provide a solid explanation. She admitted that she and the staff had no idea how that happened. If someone was really supervising, this would be a very simple explanation. We're in emotional distress and are led to assume the worst, based on the lack of accountability and answers from the staff. Our son has even said that he doesn't want to go back to Children's Village. This is totally unacceptable and disgusting. read more

4 years later you respond.. if you want a real daycare that is a billion times better go to giant step in costa mesa. Children's village will kill your kids. They are very unprofessional and they really let your kid starve and don't clean them. They will respond 4 years later and "act" like they care which is a total joke. If you dont mind seeing your kid get a UTI and starve when you get them home then take a risk with this joke of a place. read more

My daughter has been attending since July and she likes it a lot. I like it because the teachers are very nice, the have a nice schedule, phonics, and play for a full day. Parents provide lunches but recently the chef for Ricca, the Japanese school next door started providing lunches for $5 a meal. I missed the deadline but if they continue I'll try it for my daughter. At first I was worried about safety since they don't have cameras set up, yet. I believe they're going to place more security measures next year. I hope so, even though it's relatively safe it's nice to be able to tap into the system to see how your child is doing. Lately, my daughter has been picking up some bad behaviors. But, hopefully it's a phase. Please God, let it be a phase! I adore the outdoor area. The younger children are separated but otherwise ask the children can mingle together. There's a great playground, outdoor seating, open space for soccer and gymnastics (which are taught here for a price), butterfly garden, and vegetable garden. The children learn responsibility, biology, and social skills. They help care for the gardens, pull veggies when ready and eat as a snack etc. The butterfly garden, the kids help watch out for caterpillars and can see them grow and cocoon themselves. It's beautiful to see ask the kids play and butterflies flying all over the place. The main reason why I gave 4 stars are because I would like it more if there was more security. All I can say about this daycare is that it's the best place. I recommend it to everyone I have has the best care for my son. He started here when he was 4 months old he was there till he finished kindergarten. The staff & teachers are great with kids. My son went back this week for the summer and he is enjoying it. Absolutely LOVE this school! My kids have attended since 2011, and it has been so wonderful to find a place that I feel100% comfortable leaving my kids at. It's a great sign when they look forward to going, and don't want to leave at night! The staff is wonderful and so caring. It's like a small family. The school offers curriculum and has many programs that provide the children hands-on experience with what they're learning, stimulates the senses, and really nourishes the social development of the children. I highly recommend this school for anyone that wants more than just a daycare. My kids have grown so much, and really love being with the staff. They go above and beyond to take care of the kids and involve the parents. I've heard some say that tuition is REALLY expensive, but if you price around and tour the other schools, you will definitely see that you get what you pay for! read more

I absolutely love this place. My son has been going here since he was 2.5 and he is now 5. His teachers have been amazing. Not only is the staff nurturing, loving, attentive, and constantly keeping the kids engaged, but most importantly they genuinely care about the kids. You wont see the staff sitting on the benches or chattering with other staff, they are playing with the kids!. Sadly we have to leave because we are moving and I have looked at several private schools for my son and none can compare to this beautiful daycare/school. I am very protective and particular who I leave my kids with. this place is hands down one of the best. Please go check it out. Your kids will enjoying coming here and feel loved. My son has been attending Children's Village since he was 2 1/2. He is now in the Kindergarten program at the age of 6. Since his first day he has been very attached to all of his teachers and I have too! The staff at Children's Village have always been warm, friendly, and really go out of their way to make each child feel special. They continue to provide excellent care and education for my son and now my daughter who is 3. Both of my kids love going to Children's Village and I can see how quickly they are developing the skills they need to flourish in grade school and beyond. My wife and I have been very pleased with children's village since my daughter has attended there. From weekly curriculum to scheduled events for parent involvement. Our daughter has not only been well taken care of while we are at work, but she has learned a tremendous amount to help her be ahead of other children when she attends grade school. As for some of the bad reviews I read... To each their own. The grass is always greener. Overall I believe this school is a good place. Those who have said that Ms. Kelly is rude must have had attitude themselves. I'm not as friendly as I can be when I'm approached with an upset parent. Let's be honest, we as parents, are all over protective of our perfect do no wrong little angels. LOL #whineyparents I have nothing but good things to say about Ms. Kelly, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Mami. I got my kid in this daycare from a friend's recommendation..the big yard that my kid loves and hard to get him back home is the reason I like about the environment. Also, the teachers here are sweet and lovely. I don't think I ever have to worry about my kid when he is at daycare..he has all teacher's care and love. I really liked the director when I was deciding if I should put my 5 month old son in the school part-time. My opinion of her changed after my son had an incident on his 2nd day there. I got a call at work saying he scratched his face while rubbing his eyes in a swing because he was tired. When my husband picked him up he had two abrasions under his eye which were not self inflicted scratches. I called the school to see what really happened and to talk to The director and she acted like she did not care, she said "I was not there so I have no idea". We decided to pull our child out because of the way it was handled, if they tried to hide this what else would there hide? I understand things happen and all I wanted was the truth. The director never once called to try to smooth things out, we even saw her at Costco and she looked the other way. Would never recommend this place and I feel guilty that I trusted them with my son. read more

I would like to say that this school really meets my expectations as a Mom of 3! Children's Village is so culturally diverse and all the teachers are extraordinary. Ms. Blair and Ms. Ivy are so hands on with their students and they really go out of their way to make your child feel loved and nurtured. I am really impressed that my 4 year old can sing songs in Spanish, write his name perfectly, color perfectly, and he has shown me that they have taught him proper etiquette such as table manners, sharing, and singing a thankful song before he eats. I love the big playground and all the events that they hold at their school. They do an excellent job and I have decided to keep him in until he can attend public school. I would highly recommend this school! I wanted to also commend the administrative staff for being so amazing to our family. My four-year-old son has been coming to this school since he was nine weeks old. Putting an infant in day care was never the plan for my life, but that's the way it worked out for us. Fortunately, the care and attention that my son has received at children's Village has been consistent, educational, and very fair. Every teacher has always treated my son with respect and love, and when I have needed to be informed of issues, they tell me in a polite and informative manner. The playground at the school is like none other I have ever seen. The younger kids are separated from the older kids, and there is a real grass play area. During annual family vacations, we pay no fee. there are special events and activities specific to every season and holiday. The tuition is very reasonable, and the location is very convenient for commuting parents. Call and schedule a tour of the facilities. Great school! Our daughter started in the Ladybug class a few months ago. She felt safe and happy her first day and she had never been in a school setting before. We like this school because it is structured and they teach the kids. She recently moved up to the Junior Preschool class and she loves it. She loves her teacher and all of her friends.
