I went today for my 1st Custom Airbush at Chili Peppers tanning. Kesley was AMAZING! She was professional and very good at Airbrushing. I've been going to this salon for quite some time. I switched over to this Chili Pepper's Tanning because the one a few miles down in New Baltimore isn;t worth it for me. The bulbs were never updated and the beds never get warm. At this particular location the staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to choosing the best tanning package and lotion/bronzer for your skin. All the beds and stand ups are cleaned after each use, along with each room. The bulbs are changed frequently. A lot of customers use this salon and at times it gets pretty busy but the wait is pretty short since theres so many rooms! Chili Peppers offers various sales several times a month (BOGO and 1/2 off!) Good for packages, visits, eyewear and lotion. The prices aren't very high to me, especially when there is sales. Also, sign up for the Eclub to get email notifications of sales and specials. What I really love is the staff always makes you welcome by greeting you when you enter and exit the salon. Makes you always feel like coming back. Definitely the darkest tan around! read more

This place is in desperate need of a makeover. Everytime I come in this place there is incredibly long wait times.. Even before you get to the counter considering there is ONE computer/register to check guests in. There is a constant line out the door because of the SLOW check in process. There is no need for guests with packages to have to wait in a line that quickly piles up with people who end up having to stand outside of the store, while new guests try to figure out which tanning package they would like to purchase or what level would be great for them. There should be someone handling regular clients on one computer and someone else taking care of the new guests. As for the levels of beds and prices at this location, this needs a make over too. The highest level at this location is a Level 5. It is $24 for 1 Visit.. You can prepay visits/packages ahead of time, which seems like it would be more convenient.. Until you show up to us your visits. There is literally ONE Level 5 at this location, out of 20 booths.. Hmmmm?? That seems like terrible business sense to me. The most expensive level, yet the most limited availability and it doesn't matter what time of day that you visit, SOMEONE IS ALWAYS WAITING TO GET IN THE BED.. So there's a really great chance that you will desire the best tan at this locations but you better plan on paying a ridiculous amount for your tan and also have about a hour or more of your day to waste. I have tried to bring in competitors coupons multiple times now. They always have some excuse as to why they will not match it. Prices are high. Went to this place first time today. Took the girl 10 minutes to get my name right after I spelled it for her 6 times. Did not explain the packages told me all the beds have face bulbs. Which they don't . Got into room bed would not turn on. Went back out she turned it on. Then the top never came down. Never explained how to use the bed. So I just wasted $13.00 for nothing. They won't give my money back. See ya I won't be back or my friends. You suck Chili Peppers never again!!! read more

This is my favorite place to tan! The girls that work here are very friendly and always help me choose the best tanning lotion that works for me. If you have to wait for a tanning bed, they make sure to clean it right away after the other customer gets done so you can go in right away. Love it here! read more

Horrible, horrible experience. I love Chili Pepper's Tanning, but not this store. It must be seriously lacking in management. They continue to charge me after I've froze my account. Then when I call to have it fixed, I'm told that the employee that messed up my account no longer works there. That they're 'crediting my account' the few hundred they've wrongfully charged me. Yet charge me again just days later, and give me the run around why they charged again instead if using the credit. What on earth?! I would suggest driving a little farther for a better store. I'm not sure about you, but i don't like being fraudulently charged nearly $43 a month for nearly a year without use. read more

Always have been a big fan of Chili Peppers..... I would give 5 stars if employees were not so snobby & make u feel like an inconvenience! Have been to other Chili Peppers & quite shocked in the difference at this location! I used to go to the Chili Peppers in Shelby Twsp (stars ) near 22 mile rd & then I moved so I started using the Chili Peppers in Sterling Hts @ Mound & 59 service drive (Dobry Rd) & Lindsay ( "plus" stars!!!!!) at this store is an ABSOLUTE DOLL!!! Well I moved again to New Baltimore & quite honestly..... I am thinking of going some place else. Hate to leave Chili Peppers after 8 yrs!!!!! but when u dread going to do something that makes u feel & look great, bcuz of the employees kept, that's really sad. Idk if u have any pull in this store Lindsay.... but sure would b nice! There is one really nice girl that works there... I believe her name is Megan?? I Definitely will need to dbl chk that info.... but she's has had employee of the month a couple of times..... I'll dbl chk her name, would gate for the wrong person to get this girls well deserved credit! read more
