Love this place! They have the best tanning beds. I have a hard time finding beds to give me any color. Their level 5 is the best tanning bed I've used in years. They also have great prices. Very competitive compared to the other locations in the area and better beds. Also very clean every where.

I've been to so many different tanning salons in the area, but this tanning salon is by far my favorite! They just did some renovations, so it looks super cute, clean, new, and up to date! Even before their renovations the salon was really well kept and clean! The prices are the best in Macomb County, the equipment is great, and the management is super dedicated to the business! read more

I recently started my second month in the high pressure beds/stand up. The bed is ridiculously awesome, great color in 10 minutes. The staff is well informed, very helpful and accommodating. The salon is very clean and well cared for. I had planned on trying them for a month only but having great experiences and color I continued. Highly recommend! read more

I can see why this salon is always voted number one. They really do have the best equipment. My tan lasts the longest of any salon I've ever been to. Their beds & standups are kept in immaculate condition. This salon is very clean, employees are friendly & they play Sirius radio. I love that they give you 5 minutes countdown until the bed turns on - good timing for my to put my tanning lotion on! I will always stay loyal to this salon. My favorite ever. read more

I am very fair and burn very easily. Tanning beds always scare me at first because when I burn, I really really burn. I'm also older, so I have to be careful about tanning because of wrinkles and sun damage. I researched this place before coming and found the reviews to be very good. When I came in, I told the gentleman there that I was afraid of burning. He was patient and spent a lot of time going over the packages and which would work best for me. We decided on the highest pressure bed. It has the best and fastest results and the least chance of burning. They have a bed and a stand up booth. I hate standing there. So I chose the bed. $99 for one month unlimited. I went for 6 min my first time. The max is 10. I did not burn and I could see results immediately. Today I went for 8. Still didn't burn. And you can totally tell I'm more tan. I feel safe to go for 10 next time. I am thinking 2 more sessions and I will be to my desired color and then will just need to maintain it from there. Parking is convenient, right out front. It's a walk in salon, so you do not need an appointment. There is hand sanitizer right when you walk in. Social distancing is enforced. Masks are required. Staff wears a mask. It's very clean and well maintained. The equipment is clearly state of the art. Oh. They have spray tanning options as well. I have never done a spray tan. But I may try it once. read more

Switched from Chilli Peppers tanning. Out of all the places in Shelby/Sterling Heights area Tan 4 Life has been the best with the best tanning bulbs. They have hot bulb always, kind staff, clean salon, great beds, stand ups and great customer service. Highly recommend if you want a deep dark tan. read more

Got a versa tan & it held up for almost 5 days. I purchased an aftercare Lotion to help lengthen the tan. I love their stand ups & staff if super kind & friendly! They always have a deal going on & never waiting in line for a tanning bed. Always happy! read more

Absolutely love Tan 4 Life!! I signed up and chose the highest level which is level 6. I have done the bed and stand up. I saw slight results after he first use and saw a change after the second visit. I have tried so many different tanning salons and this is by far the best I have ever been to. The girls are super helpful up front and show you how to use the equipment and are very friendly. Also with the level 6 I am able to use any bed in the building for free including the spray tan! read more

Did a level 6 stand up (new bulbs recently too) and I am very fair so I asked the employee how long I should go for, she suggested 6 min. Because there is a slight chance I could burn since I'm so fair and bed has new bulbs...I got NO color! Level 6 is NOT cheap and I just got swindled apparently. No results. My freckles usually appear and THAT didn't even happen. Very unhappy and dissatisfied and out $25 now. read more

Whether you are one that tans on a regular basis or just a spray tan UV-free person, Tan 4 Life offers both. Staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable, place is comfortable and extremely clean, deals are constant, and equipment gives great results! I use VersaSpa Spray tan regularly and after using other spray tans in the past, this machine is the Best by far! Natural looking results, smells good, and easy to use. Only tanning salon I'll go to. Everyone that works there is so friendly. The level 5 beds are amazing, and you can tell you got color directly after you tan. The high pressure facials really are great. The bulbs in the tanning beds are changed frequently. It's a good deal on a membership too, and to upgrade to a different level for the day isn't expensive at all. Even the bathrooms are spotless and smell nice. It's extremely clean and I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I have been tanning with CPT for about 7 years now. I started with the 22 mile road location, moved to the Livernois location, and frequent the Mound location as I work out at the gym in the same plaza. Every time I go into the Mound location, I am strictly guided on what to tan in, amount of time, and bombarded with unnecessary questions. Again, I have been tanning for about 7 years and I know what levels I can do, how much time, lotions, etc. etc.. If I want to up my time for the bed by ONE minute, I should be able to do so. I understand if I wanted to make a jump like 5 minutes but ONE?? Not to mention that who I assume is the manager of the Mound location I have seen outside the salon on multiple occasions on her phone and smoking. I feel that doing that is a bad look for the company considering she is on the clock and wearing CPT apparel. I will never go back to this location. It is a shame to have to write this as I love CPT but that location is nothing but problematic. I will be sticking to my Livernois location from now on as they treat me like a human, and not just a person with a dollar sign over my head.

This is the fourth tanning salon that I have been to and tan4life is by far the cleanest salon around and you get the best results with your tan.
