The food is good, but their To-Go counter leaves a lot to be desired. I subbed out regular fries for Texas cheese fries on two of the entrees. My husband wanted his jalapeños on the side. What we got was a pile of French fries with just cheese. Green onions, bacon, jalapeños and Ranch dressing we're all missing. None of the burgers had pickles on the side either. My husband drove back to the restaurant, but the food has a short shelf life, so all of it was cold and past its prime. The only reason for the "extra" star is the manager. I have to say, I was a bit surprised at the quality of the food. We hadn't been to this location for a couple of years. We had the chips and salsa for an app, then wife had pulled pork quesadilla and I had the double Patty burger. Both were very good and a very nice portion. The servers went beyond. They were covering so many tables, but still kept a smile and were there when we needed them. If your company was truly "sorry" your establishment wouldn't be such a dump and corporate would have been on their asses from the very first complaint! Shut the place down, obviously no one cares in there and all the experiences in here mirror mine. ___________________________ I haven't been here in years and now I kind of know why. The busboy/greeter was okay, sat us down quickly and no problems. Where the problems were was in the food. Undercooked fried pickles were still incredibly doughy on the inside even though they seemed okay on the outside. They actually looked from the night before because if you compared the well fried ones that we got our order replaced with it was clearly night and day, pun intended. They even seemed to have cooked the ones we gave back a second time and dumped a few fresh pieces on top. Bad idea, wish I took pics but I just wanted to leave at that point. The waitress/bartender was okay, a bit too fake but it was entertaining to hear her call everything "perfect" even when it wasn't. The food still didn't come yet either. They served 2 tables ahead of us well before us. The place was basically empty, at least 6 tables of 2 or 4 and like 4 at the bar. No excuses! The rest of the food came medium heat, not hot out the fire not room temp but barely above warm. On a scale of 1-10 to determine heat, I'd say 6 or 7. Haven't been to a Chilis in a really long time and, let's just say, I haven't been missing out. The menu is a bit different then I remembered. No more twofers on beer? This Bay Shore location wasn't busy at all yet service was painfully slow. Took forever just for our salads to come out and another slow wait for the entrees. The food was, as expected, pedestrian. Chicken fingers with fries were salty and make you feel gross afterwards. The mango-chile chicken wasn't that great either. Our server was friendly though and prices are pretty cheap. Don't think I'll be coming back and, like I said, I haven't been missing out on much. read more

Friday January 27, 2017 Around 5Pm i decided to bring my family to chilli's and ohhhh let me tell you, Had A Great dinner our server Luis was excellent. He let my 5 year old son help him Make the Guacamole on the table, good example of good service, I felt very satisfied with the food and Luis's excellent service, very friendly, fast, makes you feel like family & knows how to recommend good appetizers. Our Margaritas were On point I Worked as a waitress for 10 years and I had never felt so special and so satisfied. We go to this Chili's every now and then with no major issues. We sat at the bar tonight. The bar tender/server placed the menus down not even a hello . Afterwards she said hello and took our drink and appetizer order . The Southern egg rolls came out raw and undercooked . Not crispy but soggy. It took 10 minutes to replace them BUT I had to ask our server if they expedited the order... her reply Let me check ... no silverware or plates were put out in for us . We were going to order entrees but at this point we had lost our appetite. We spoke to the manager about the incident and he Comped our appetizers. I pulled the server over and wanted to bring to her attention why she wasn't getting a tip . She said you don't have to tip me . I said I want to bring to attention why before you curse is out when we left . I told her everything mentioned above to her . My family and I have been to here twice and have been very happy about the service and the food. I'm not a big fan of chains, but we decided to try it and have left very satisfied, with full bellies, but not overly stuffed either! Portions are good, but not overkill, and the prices are reasonable. I've eaten the spicy shrimp tacos which were excellent, and the rice and beans were very tasty. I always get the southwest egg rolls, which have been great both times. I've had the wings and they were exactly how I like them, crispy yet tender. My husband last time ordered the bacon avocado chicken sandwich and that was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken was not dry at all, and the sandwich overall had so much flavor. The service has always been fantastic as well. The servers and anyone else working there has always been friendly, courteous, and helpful. We look forward to our next visit! read more

Sell out review...I know but this needs to be written, I remember 9 or 10 years ago when Chilis came to L.I I believe the bethpage one was the first and I went. It used to be a halfway meeting place for me and my cousins and we used to love it. Once every 2 weeks we would meet kept it a tradition. Fast Foward to present day chilis and my portions are getting smaller and smaller, my food taste half cooked and my 2 for twofers drinks should be put in a zippy cup. Every time we come to this location, we receive some of the best customer service, and question why we ever go to restaurants with similar menus but absolutely different service (like Applebee's, lol). The servers are always attentive and super friendly. Even when it's busy, we get seated pretty quickly. We've expected slow service on busier days but received fast service. I would never go back there again, we order a appetizer and the waitress comes back 10 min later and tells us I still didn't put your app order in, so takes our order so it took forever to get our app, then for the entree, I ordered the smokehouse combo and they messed up and instead of original crispers I got brisket that is all fat and when I told waitress about it, she looks at the paper and laughs and said oh yea hold on she comes back 30 seconds later with a plate of chicken tenders or whatever they were, was so crispy that you couldn't taste the chicken, not to mention the last time we were there they gave us out entree and then brought the appetizer after, and instead of the girl taking the app off she ignores it like nothing happened. I did the call ahead and let me tell you don't even bother unless it's done thru their app. The entrance hostesses are not welcoming at all and they don't keep the restaurant very clean! Decided to give this place a second chance but it was not worth it! The first time i came we waited 15mins at the door for the host until my boyfriend walked towards the kitchen to look for someone and the staff was in the kitchen dancing around. I ordered a fajita and the skillet wasn't even hot, the second time around I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well done and COLD! My boyfriend ordered the sunrise burger medium rare and it was well done and the egg yolk wasn't even runny it was over cooked. To top it off the bread was extremely soggy because of all the grease. Second Valentine's Day I took my 4 year old daughter here for a father daughter Valentine's Day date. Horrible service BOTH times. No attention from dopey waiters....screw up orders several times In one sitting....ask for things and don't receive (ex. Extra napkins.....received DIrty silverware both times....was told soon arrival they did not have straw (which ultimately led to my daughter spilling her milk)....asked for napkins to clean up milk and never received. It's my local chili's and I love the menu-ed items from Chili's....just unfortunately have to travel outside my hometown area....that is, if I ever decide to give Chili's another chance overall after HORRIBLE experiences. :-( read more
