I went last night at around 10 pm, at first everything was fine it seemed good, we drove from Laredo to Brownsville to eat somewhere. The host was nice, he seated us asap. Until after we got seated, our server came to us and in his words this is the first thing he said to us "we close in 15 minutes so you can wrap it up? I'm gonna go get your drinks" and he did a hand movement telling us to hurry up and decide. He came back with our drinks , we were already ready. Then he got our food order, and left. The only time we saw him was when he got our drinks, took our order, and brought us our food. Now when he brought us our food he didn't even ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything he just left, we needed ketchup, A1 sauce , refills, silverware but he was nowhere to be seen, I had to ask another server to get those things for us. Our tortillas were cold, so we asked someone if they can maybe warm them up or give us more warmer ones, and they did it for us, we asked for the check, and that's when he started more to talk to us and be nice. But not only til I had my check in my hand. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. He didn't even tell us his name, he was just get to the point. But I asked for his name from someone else. Which was "kike" or Carlos. Never going back. I thought maybe it was because he had a lot of tables but he had 1 other table that I saw him go to, most of the time he was sitting in a booth, or in the back. read more

Ordered my steak medium with steamed broccoli and steak was under cooked while the broccoli was hard. Told the waiter however wasn't given another side or more broccoli. My sisters ordered their steaks with no pink however they were probably medium rare. They also had the same issue with the broccoli. I asked for a refill once waiter forgot about it then asked again 20 minutes later and didn't receive it either. I had ordered the onion blossom but they were out so I replaced it with the chips and salsa. When I checked my tab they were also charging me for the chips and salsa and when asked the waiter responded the manager said to leave it on. This was by far the worst service I have had from the waiter to the cooks to the manager. Avoid this place better off getting food at a gas station. If I could I would give 0 stars and even that would be to generous. The only reason we went was to watch the football game and even at that we asked to waiter several time to change the channel and he never did. read more

Bad service! I will never forget. It was on Sunday Oct 12, 2014 at around 8 pm. For five minutes we waited for a hostess there was nobody at our arrival that's were things started wrong since others arrived at the same time we had to make a line... Waiting for someone to write our names down. Then she said it could take up to 30 min to be seated and the restaurant didn't look full at all. She then said you can sit at the bar it's no wait to be seated there ... So we followed and the tables were very dirty it looked like there was only 1 person in charge of all the tables on that section. After 5 minutes we felt very uncomfortable with the dirty table and then no one paying attention to us... So then we finally get seated at the other side but in two separate tables ...yeah it was a Sunday we wanted to eat together as family. After another 5 min no one took our orders to drink the waitress said I'll be with you in a moment. Another 5 min passed and we noticed that people that had been seated probably 15 min. Before us didn't have their drinks. We totally got upset and left! We wasted more than 30 min of our time with chilis low customer service experience ... Never putting chilis first on the list! Thanks to Texas Roadhouse our night ended way better!!!! read more

Terrible service! The food was ok but was cold! I did not return it because I could not get a waiter to come to our table. Never got refills on drinks and had to forever to get our order taken and about 30 minutes to get our check AFTER we asked for it. Very disappointing! Good service will get you a better tip. read more

My husband and I went to dinner on March 17 and I ordered chicken fajitas... Seven hours later, I woke myself up with diarrhea and vomit... I did it twice... In order to go to work, I've got to take a medication so I couldn't go to the bathroom frequently but, I felt weak after the medicine fade away, so I've had to stay in my parent's house (instead of getting back to my Apartment) so I could get the proper help that I needed... I've tried to eat a couple of oranges for breakfast/lunch/dinner in Friday, because I haven't ate anything during the day... So, I woke up in Saturday having diarrhea and vomit again... My parents took me to the doctor in Mexico ($20 bill) and then the medications ($15 bill) and more Gatorade to keep myself hydrated (another $5 dlls)... I've tried to reach Chili's and despite that they've responded me through their FB page, but once that I've tried to reach them back, there were no response... So, I headed to the Chili's location to find answers, because I was asking FAIRNESS (meaning like: return what I paid on the dinner -21 bucks-, plus doctor, medications and Gatorade, but one of their "managers" told me that they won't do it (just return what I've paid in Chili's cash for future visit: BUT HEY, WAKE UP, I'm totally NOT heading to this location in the future)... Make yourself a favor and please refrain to go to this location, unless if you wanted to spend your weekend in your bed... read more

Lunch here was really good the wait was super fast and the drinks of course are awesome what i really enjoyed the most was the specials that they have for example what me and my husband got was the 2 for 22 and it is cheap and really good it gives you the option to choose from different full size entrees and for a cheap price. I really enjoyed coming here during lunch time because the food was great, delicious and fresh, i ordered the cajun chicken pasta and it thw serving size was big i got pretty full and i even took some to go! What i really enjoyed about this place was also empty, i recommend it to all my family and friends! read more

The worse chili's I have ever been to. Showed up after football game and we were completely disappointed with the quality of our food. Fries looked as if they had been sitting under heat lamp for hours. Onion rings were reheated in oil to warm them up, tasted gross. Kids frozen pizza was cold. Waiter was so so. I placed an order to the telephone and they told me that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I actually got there about 5 minutes pass the estimated time and when I got there I call that I was already there to pick up my order. The attendant ask me under what name and than she tells we have three persons under that name what is your last name and I told her when who ever answer the phone did not ask me for my last name, only for my first name and phone number. Than an attendant came outside and ask me again my name and what had I order and he was writing down in his phone everything. He ask me for my debit card went inside and after 7 minutes came back and brought the receipt I sign in it and he said your order will be out in few minutes and he left to other cars that where waiting and arriving also; after 10 more minutes that he came outside to say something to persons that were waiting next to me I call him and said where is my order and he said its being prepared and I said but I call so it could be ready by the time I would had arrived and than I said if in 5 more minutes its not ready I want my money back, I waited 45 minutes to get my order, 15 minutes from when I call and 30 after I arrived to the location. Than getting worse when I got to my job site to it my meal it was cold not even hot, it was suppose to be hot since it was being prepared, definitely they are not doing good at this location with the service and the food. read more

First of all, one doesn't go to Chili's expecting haute cuisine. But decent food and basic service, yes. This location was an abomination to the "Chili's" chain! Where to begin--oh my. Ok. 3 different people took our orders, and each seemed to be unaware of the others, even when informed that our orders had already been taken. All of the people in our party received food at different times--up to 20 minutes apart. Half of the orders were incorrect, and what was received was not good (hot foods cool, cold foods warm). We just wanted to leave. So we requested the check. One of the waiters was informed of this, then he disappeared for over 15 minutes. One of our party found the manager and requested our check, and he came to the table and said he would take care of it. Then the waiter appeared, and lied that we had not requested our check. At that point, half the people at the table together said "WE DID ask for our check!"...props to the exasperated manager, who forgave the entire bill. It looked like a scene of chaos. Other diners appeared to be having the same type of issues we did--people were leaving in droves. Aside from these problems with service, the restrooms had floors that were "sticky", and somewhat slimy (I'd rather not know). Unsupervised children were also playing in the stall in the Men's Room. I guess we should be thankful that not only did we not have to pay for the "food", we did not get sick. Next time I'll take my chances with a lunch at the zoo--how much worse could it be? read more

Worst service ever! Don't waste your time! I'm a disabled combat veteran from operation enduring freedom and I was treating my family party of 12 to lunch to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday. The host was lost and don't know where the manager was or what was going on, he told my wife that we would be seated next then 40 min and 5 families being seated and one one at "our" table later I felt I needed to ask for a manager myself. We reserved our table 1/2 early end ended up waiting over an hour before we were invited to leave as an option from "Layla" the acting manager. I asked her for her business card before wanting to leave and she gave me her manager "Victor's" card instead. I needed to ask her again to write her name on the card after refusing already once. I called the "corporate number" Layla gave me on the card and asked for Victor and the call was to the same location and Victor the manager was not available. At this point I knew I was dealing with unprepared people so I asked another employee at the bar for Victor and she told me he was not available so she got me "Ana" the manager. Ana was very apologetic also but didn't mind is leaving since all the tables were full. A couple of "tough" looking employees were staring me and my wife down as we spoke to Ana and o felt very uncomfortable and even threatened in the situation. I asked how she "Ana" was going to make us want to stay or comeback and she just said "sorry" about the mixup "but I'm here now and it won't happen to anybody else"'. My family was already seated In our car and very upset with crying kids and we had already been invited to leave once, that's was enough. All They kept saying was how "sorry" they were and i agree they were very sorry employees. I was humiliated with my family when we left and we came to Olive Garden instead and spent twice as much, not only did they Comp my meal but they gave us a $15 gift card to come back and they apologized for our bad experience at "Unfriendly to Veterans Families Chili's". We are never going back to Chilis again if this is not rectified and I DO NOT recommend anyone who wants a positive experience. Worst Service Ever!! read more
