Chili's has really turned themselves around in the past year, thanks to a new CEO who literally went into the kitchen and fixed things. They have revamped and slimmed down the menu, focusing on process improvements and the like. The result is a much better experience because I had sworn this place off several years ago. If you were like me and gave up on Chili's a while back, give them a second chance. They are substantially better now than what they used to be, thanks in large part to new leadership. The best damn burgers I've had in a very long time. The Alex Sante fe has guacamole cilantro jalapeño and Sante fe sauce. I get it without the jalapeño and Santa fe sauce..I'm not a spicy fan but the Santa fe sauce is good though. Juicy hot great tasting. Went 2x last week it was so good. I overall loved my server and her service but her co-worker doesn't not seem like she likes her job! We were seated at 10:05 and we started hearing a employee, Victoria stating that " Too many people keep coming in here, Im not seating nobody else, or cleaning up nobody tables.". I just think if she does not like her night shift job she shouldn't be here. Then the manager did not want to speak because he had an attitude as well. Since 2020 customer service has diminished somewhat. When asked to sit in a booth away from people for privacy I recieved a quick "We don't have a server in another section". Seriously , I don't feel that was too much to ask. Would the waitress have to walk another 6 feet to accommodate us? Hmmmm. I don't think o was asking too much . Had a terrible experience. I ordered the full rack of ribs and got less than a half rack and one deer ate bone. The taste was awful also. Couldn't eat it. I called to complain and ask for a refund and they just ignored me and told me to call corporate. I'll never go back there again. No more chilis for me! read more

Super disappointing. I have stopped in at Chili's all over the county for 27 years during my work travels to get Southwestern Egg rolls and a beer. It's definitely one of my out-of-town rituals. I walked in the door on Monday, May 18 at 6PM and there could not have been more than 10 customers in the place. My first impression was a customer having an awkward interaction with the host, who eventually got the man seated and then began to complain and argue with another staff member in her headset. The host walked away without me... then motioned from 20 feet away to come to her. After sitting in the booth for about ten minutes without seeing any wait staff I resisted my initial urge to leave and find a better Chili's at a different location. The waiter was very nice and personable throughout and explained why it took ten minutes before he came by... explaining he had to fix another customer's order. The Southwest Egg Rolls were under cooked and felt mushy... definitely not what I have enjoyed at so many locations over many years. Later, when I'd finished my food the waiter and another staff member were sat in a booth together. Really strange to me... I'm not used to staff sitting in booths while actively waiting. I'm going to have to try a different Chili's and do not recommend this one if your expecting a Chili's experience you are accustomed to. read more

Do not order the Sirloin! Frankly, this should be taken off the menu. it is so tough that the risk of choking is more than likely if you do not cut the pieces small enough (tiny) to prevent the piece of meat from getting stuck in your throat. This was a reality as my wife was choking. For me it was a lesson learn that I need to know how to identify someone who is choking and what to do. We like Chilis and this was unfortunate. Later overheard the staff say two people didn't show for their shift. 23 minutes to order drinks, but I didn't bother timing how long it took to get them. Waitress was not sociable or friendly- straight business. The brown sludge southwest egg rolls were too far gone for me to eat. Also, over $5 for a corona. It's $13.99 for a 12-pack next door. You don't have to make THAT much on them. It's a family restaurant, not a skylight martini bar. I'm also very supportive of my servers and hate those computers to order/pay on. Came here for my daughters sweet 16 and found hair in 3 of our dishes . Then had the audacity to argue and say it was my husbands hair when the hair was dark and slightly curly. My husbands hair is long curly and light brown. The waitress with black & pink hair had attitude even when we first sat down. The bartender "short brown hair" was nice but was the one who argued. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

My boyfriend and I live a few minutes away from this Chili's location. We arrived around 10:40 and by 10:50, still no one had even acknowledged that we were in the building waiting to be sat at a table so we left. Plenty of workers looked in our direction and no one said a word to us. People even walked in after us and were not helped either. I'm not sure how long it took them to get their table, but we thought this was ridiculous. Server could have had our food order in in the amount of time we were waiting to be helped before deciding to leave. read more

We've been coming to this Chili's for a number of years but haven't been there in the last couple years. Stopped in there on Sunday. Wasn't crowded and we were seated fairly fast. The hostess was very nice! She also got us our leftover boxes. Our server was also the bartender and she was nice and surprisingly attentive seeing as how she was making drinks and taking care of tables. The food seemed good (got the ribs & chicken crispers combo & my wife got the shrimp tacos). However, the place looked a little rundown and when I used the men's bathroom before we left I was amazed at how dirty it was. Also, there was a server in there using his phone standing right in front of the urinals where I wanted to go. So I went into toilet and locked it. The toilet was very dirty! If I had seen that before, we would have left before we ate. The server used the urinal but I didn't hear him wash his hands. Service was good, food tasted ok but the bathroom dirtiness was unsettling and made me question whether the rest of the restaurant was clean. Hoped the rest of staff washed their hands and hope they get someone to clean their bathroom! read more

Can you believe it? I visited this Chili's location 7 years later, and it's still as awful it was the first time. Stopped by on my way to Florida for lunch; they can't cook steaks to proper temp after two tries. Not to mention, the person ordered a 6 oz sirloin and what came out looked like the thinnest, cheapest cut of beef, if it was even beef. Service took forever even after having to cancel the steak altogether. Would not ever recommend this Chili's. read more

I walked in the "to go" area and was greeted with "what's the name?" to which I replied that I hadn't ordered yet. This statement earned the the ignore spot. After being walked past twice and watching the person (who should have asked me what I wanted to order) answer the phone twice and still ignore me, I went to the bar and asked if I had to know someone here to be allowed to order something. WTF?! I have to come here every year to get a molten lava cake for my wife. Yes I only wanted to order one simple item. The person who should have helped me spent more time and energy ignoring me. The place is messy, smells like grease, cluttered and the people who work here are less than polite. My recommendation is to only eat here if every other eating establishment is closed and you can't hunt or fish. My recommendation to the health dept is to shut this place down. They were out of the 6oz sirloin and for $4 more we could get the 10oz sirloin, but that's not what we wanted, we came specifically for the 3 for $10 menu, NOT the 3 for $14! We ate here on yesterday and our wait was 25 min for a party of 5. The hostess was very good at her job event during a very overwhelming and short staffed time. It was pretty crowded in there and they were very much understaffed. I think the had only to waitresses, Jane was ours but I don't know who the other girl was. Jayne was great, as soon as we got seated she came right over to us and took our orders. The food was excellent and took about 20 min to come out. I will say that she tried her hardest to keep up with her tables and they got even more busy. Chili's were conducting interviews that day so hopefully they hire enough people to help Jayne out. If I come back to Gulfport I would definitely go back to that chili's but only if I can get Jane as my waitress. We even met a friend there who gave us her testimony and she's expecting. Worst experience at any chili's that I have ever been to. The blue haired waitress took our drink order then forgot us for 16 minutes while she socialized with the other guest. The young man moving chairs and seating people was the most professional. Had to cancel our margarita order because she forgot us. On her behalf, she was very attentive to the 8 table top that came in 20min after us. I would guess that our food set for a while because the ribs and such was warm at best and the sausage was out right table top warm. We left a 12% tip in the hopes that she has to tip out the young man that seated us and checked on us 10min in. Good job young man. Hopefully her other customers had a better experience. read more
