The food is delicious. We started with the wedge salad. The homemade dressings are very tasty and flavorful. My husband ordered the filet and it was enjoyable. He got the garlic sauce for dipping. Wow just wow. I'm a Northerner who moved to Texas for the last 24 years and since my son in law joined the Air Force have not been this far down in the true Deep South since we lived briefly in Atlanta (which could be argued is not the true South)! Our son in law had his birthday today and wanted to come here and so we did! We came around 6pm and were seated quickly. The place has a very cool vibe - lovely patio dining - great warm fire feature on the patio - and a warm friendly interior. We got the menus and quite frankly were blown away by the wine and cocktail choices- drinks arrived swiftly. Our waitress- Jasmine - was simply amazing. I can not say enough about her warmth and hospitality. She helped us navigate the choices and made excellent recommendations- she was always present for us and omg the food. The "debris fries" as an appetizer was amazing - as beyond good as expected. I ordered the southern pot roast (over mashed red potatoes) and O M G. First bite and I had to stop and wave - I felt the warmth of the lord come down from above and provide what can only be described and a second coming to deliciousness! I had to pause and look up to the sky and ask our savior why I had spent my whole life never to come to Biloxi and find this place! See here; pot roast up north, and sure there in Texas - is different. It's all good. But this one, great balls of Fire - greatness. I slowly worked my way through - there's a slightly saltiness to it - perhaps from the gravy - but it all works sooooo well together. Honestly for this kid from West (by God) Virginia who's now 59 years old - it's like I found out for the first time how cooking should be done. I could go on for another few paragraphs about the pot roast or I could share how good the kids food was (it was all equally delicious). Let me cut to the chase. Food is beyond expectations! Our server (Jasmine) was amazing. If their other servers are 70% as good as her this is Michelin Star place right there ! Bar was hopping. Tables were happy - place has a great vibe. But the sweet ending - the price - was beyond fair / I expected to pay more for what I got. This place is an honest bargain. Or perhaps this Northerner is new to the South ? Wonderful food and wonderful service! My partner and I came here for brunch. We were roughly 12 minutes late and when we were on our way, the restaurant called me to confirm if I was still making it. They were very friendly the entire time and the lady at the front desk definitely displayed genuine southern hospitality. That was already a big plus for our experience. I ordered the gulf crab cake benedicts, and they were legit the best egg benedicts that I have ever had. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of hollandaise sauce, which was amazing because too often egg benedicts would have too much of it to define the flavor. Instead, the crab cakes were very well-seasoned by themselves already, containing a good spice level. Once I broke open the poached egg, the yolk elevated the entire dish's taste. The side gouda grits also had the perfect balance of creaminess and grainy-ness, while seasoned very well. My partner and I also enjoyed the Bayou Crawfish Nachos, which had a ridiculous amount. There was definitely a generous amount of crawfish meat and andouille sausage. There was also a lot of spicy cheese sauce, but because everything else was so abundant, the sauce was able to ensure every tortilla chip is coated with it. It was very delicious! Individually, my partner had the beignets and they overall liked it, mentioning that they weren't able to find good beignets in the north (we're located in Minnesota) and that what they had here was more than satisfactory. They also ordered the biscuit and gravy with white gravy, and specifically said that when they took the first bite, it was like the moment in the animation Ratatouille when Anton Ego had his first bite of Remy's ratatouille dish: in other words, the dish brought them back to when their grandmother made biscuits and gravy, in the most positive way. It was that good. If you have read up until this point already, then I think you know that this place is a solid 5 star in my book. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Biloxi, or just any of the three places in Misssissippi that has this restaurant. Listen... I'm from Louisiana and I'm here for work. I was sleep on Mississippi food! Everything was 10/10! Drinks, 10/10. Service 10/10 through and through. As a former server that means a lot for me. That catfish and grits!? Way more than I was expecting and everything about it was the delicious. Even the field peas (black eyed peas) surprised me. Service was absolutely awful, terrible and horrible. We never got greeted at the host stand and eventually just walked over to the bar after realizing nobody was gonna come greet us. As someone from Kansas City I have experienced bad service, but this was just below par. I'm sure it's great during the day but at night it just seem like a dumpster fire. Once we get to the bar the bartender proceeded to visibly express to us via conversation about our drink and food order how beyond anger she is that she is busy and people are there an hour before they close . Regardless the food was absolutely delicious although the pasta was really bland and didn't have much of a flavor to it but my nachos were delicious and very fulfilling. They had bottled Abita Amber which was great for me. We both ordered steaks - Ribeye & New York Steak Strip. Both were cooked to what we liked ! Medium and medium well. For dinner I had the butcher cut angus beef steak and it was perfect, it came with grilled asparagus and that was very tasty but it was al dente which I didn't care for, | like my veggies cooked. I love this place. Just a hop, skip and jump from the casinos on the gulf. I love the chicken and waffles but my favorite is the red fish on the half shell. Sounds like an oyster dish, but has nothing to do with shellfish. It's blackened red fish with a crawfish cream sauce. I've ordered this same dish the six times we've gone. While visiting Biloxi (staying at the Palace Casino..highly recommend), I found this local place off Main St. The atmosphere was peaceful, food was chef made to order, many options on the menu from steaks, seafood, sandwiches etc. It was obviously a popular place for locals. The service was rock solid as ever the server took all orders masterfully and I say this because everybody at the table deviated from the item with some type of special request. This is a wonderful restaurant if you are in the downtown Biloxi area! They offer other great locations in Gulfport and new location in Hattiesburg also. The food was excellent too! The seating is a bit of a mix bag. It is no couch. We sat in the middle row. We had table and chairs. The chairs were comfortable and padded bottom. The chairs seem to have more padding than the bench seats. However, both have a hardwood backing. The outside tables have combination of chairs and bench seating. Don't recommend sitting for multiple hours tho. They offer high chairs for the little children if they are with you. We skip out on the appetizer and went straight for the lunch offerings. However, they brought out some delicious and fresh baked rolls and with a side of butter. A few of the dishes we ordered were the chicken gumbo and Cesar salad (choice of soup and salad). The gumbo is excellent with a bit of a kick (spicy). Shrimp poboy with fries. Of course, wash it down with sweat tea. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Hard to describe the atmosphere of the restaurant since the rain discouraged many of the customers at the time. I will tell you tho. It is always packed when I drive by their locations. We had breakfast at Pier 44 with only two people in the restaurant. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast (which came with bacon and potatoes), and French toast with a side of strawberries. While our food was good once it arrived, the service left a lot to be desired. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, it took 30 minutes for our meals to come out. We had to ask for syrup and powdered sugar that were supposed to come with the French toast -- those took another 10 minutes. Drink refills were not offered until we asked. Right after checking if our meals were okay, the bill was immediately brought to the table. During our visit, a large party who had waited over an hour for their breakfast finally gave up, paid for their drinks, and left. We stopped in here one afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. The location is a bit odd with the patio looking out over the McDonald's parking lot. I think we would sit inside next time. The restaurant itself was nice, especially the bar and patio seating. Food was subpar, some too salty. Service was slow, and empty glasses present for duration of meal. When asked for refills, there was an excuse, on top of each glass being partially refilled. Small togo boxes were given when meals required larger boxes. Caused some to not be able to completely pack their food togo. We were pretty much over the meal service for any other requests. It wasn't an enjoyable meal for us but surrounding tables seemed to have received better service. There is plenty of parking and located across the street from Hard Rock Casino. read more

Yesterday we enjoyed dinner here on the patio in cool evening breeze! It is a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant. Don't pass on the bread because the dinner rolls melt in your mouth. Crawfish Étouffée is the best I've had in a really long time. It was packed with flavor and a little spice (mind you I'm a spice whimp). When our entrees arrived at the table there was silence because we were grubbing. LOL If you're looking for a nice place in Biloxi for two or a large group this is your spot!
